What do you like best about DD-WRT?

The firmware usually adds a ton of features. Statistics are a great feature which allows you to track network activity. It is pretty easy to figure out who's connecting, when and how much data was pulled. I like the fact that it adds features often aren't available in out-of-box solution like guest network, multi-WAN, VPN, multi-SSID setup. On the devices with USB I was even able Connect printer and local storage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DD-WRT?

Overall there is not much I really don't like about DDWrt. Maybe having a new UI would be refresher, But as it is it's very functional, so maybe there is no point in even touching that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering DD-WRT:

I would go about this question a little bit different. First look at what devices are supported and then by proper device which is going to fit your needs in terms of power and usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DD-WRT solving and how is that benefiting you?

You can change really cheap and disappointing device into something which you pretty much wouldn't get for the same money. Is that features which often aren't part of standard router firmware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
