What do you like best about Datto AV?

Datto AV has been effective as a lightweight endpoint protection solution that integrates well into existing RMM-driven workflows. Deployment and centralized management are straightforward, which makes it easier to maintain protection consistency across multiple environments without adding significant administrative overhead. We also like the visibility into endpoint status and threat events, along with the ability to manage policies remotely without relying on separate standalone security consoles. What do you dislike about Datto AV?

While the platform works well for baseline endpoint protection, some advanced detection and response capabilities feel more limited compared to larger enterprise-focused security products. Alert detail and investigation context could also be more comprehensive during incident review. In environments with more aggressive security requirements, additional layered tooling may still be needed for deeper threat analysis and response automation.
