What do you like best about Datarails?

Datarails is a fantastic platform for Finance organizations that are getting too large for Excel, but might not be ready for the more rigorous and structured FP&A platforms. It gives flexibility to the user to connect with multiple data sources. My favorite feature is the Data Mapper tool. The ability to add custom columns to your data and easily connect it with other data sources saved me hours each week. The User interface was also pretty friendly, where you could see fields already on the table to reference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Datarails?

There's not much, as it's a fantastic software. If I had to choose one thing, the AI tool still needs some work. It would offer a formula and say use this, but then it would sometimes give an error when creating a custom column. AI is still a relatively new technology, so I think that is to be expected. What problems is Datarails solving and how is that benefiting you?

Datarails is helping immensely with being able to quickly create reports and analyses for our growing enterprise. For example, we had a custom report called UEMs that used to be incredibly manual and required multiple datasets for hundreds of customers. Datarails was able to congregate all of that data and pull together those reports in a scalable fashion. It was a huge win for our Finance team at our organization.
