What do you like best about DataGuard?

We’ve been using DataGuard for a few years now, and I’m genuinely happy with both the platform and the support we receive. What I appreciate most is that it does not feel like a generic compliance tool where you are left alone to figure things out. The platform gives us a good structure for our GDPR and compliance work and whenever something is more complex or needs a second legal view, we have a consultant who understands our business and gives practical, knowledgeable guidance. What do you dislike about DataGuard?

In the past, I would have said that the consulting support was the strongest part of DataGuard, while the platform itself was helpful but not always as comprehensive as it could be. With the recent platform updates, that has changed a lot. The platform now offers significantly more functionality and makes it much easier to build, manage, and maintain GDPR documentation and processes in one place. What problems is DataGuard solving and how is that benefiting you?

We rely on DataGuard for generating and maintaining our privacy/cookie policies, screening DPAs in record-time, and accessing up-to-date policy templates, as well as their Academy section for regular employee trainings. The software has helped us move away from scattered spreadsheets and manual tracking by providing a single source of truth for data protection and compliance.
