## About Dash
Dash is an affordable digital asset management (DAM) tool for ecommerce brands, with pricing starting at $109 per month. It gives marketing and creative teams one clear place to store, organise, and use their brand content. If you’re using Google Drive or Dropbox to manage creative, things get messy fast. Files are hard to find, links break, and teams waste time searching instead of launching work. Dash is built to fix that. With Dash, all your brand assets live in one place — from product photography and campaign creative to influencer content and UGC. You can upload files directly or collect content using upload links, so creators, agencies, or partners can send work without needing access. Once files are in, your team can approve content or leave feedback before it’s used. Dash makes assets easy to find as your library grows. Images are automatically tagged using AI, and you can add your own custom fields like product line, campaign, usage rights, or photographer. That means less digging through folders and more time actually using your creative. When it’s time to launch, Dash helps you move faster. Resize and crop images directly in the platform, download them ready for different marketing channels, or push product images straight into your Shopify listings. You don’t need to bounce between tools just to get assets live. Dash also makes sharing simple. If you need to send content to resellers, press, or other external partners, you can set up a portal instead. They can search and download approved assets without logging in or emailing your team, while you stay in control. Dash helps ecommerce teams to: Store all brand creative in one organised place Collect content from creators and partners without the chaos Find assets quickly using AI tags and custom fields Prepare images for marketing and ecommerce channels Share approved assets externally without extra admin Dash includes unlimited users and all features on every plan, so teams don’t have to manage seats or upgrades as they grow. It’s used by ecommerce brands that want less time hunting for files — and more time getting creative work out into the world.

## Dash Reviews
 ### 1. Great Value DAM with Clean UX and Essential Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren C. | Marketing and Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

It’s great value for money compared to other DAMs out there. It has all the features you regularly need to easily categorise, tag, and share your media with agencies. I’ve also found the customer service to be quick and helpful. The UX is clean and simple, with the useful features you actually need, and you’re not overwhelmed by extra add-ons that only have very niche use cases.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The auto-tagging feature is an area that could be improved. I started using Dash three years ago, and with the recent jump in machine learning and AI, it feels like the perfect opportunity to apply those capabilities so auto tags become more accurate. Better auto-tagging would save a lot of time and also make the search function more effective.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's categorising and making our media more easily searchable. For instance, OneDrive folders you can only categorise by 'one thing'. As a member-based organisation we can now make our media searchable by member, event, date or theme. Downloading in the specific sizing you need is also a handy time saving feature.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad to hear Dash has been good value for you and that the UX and core features are hitting the mark. And great to hear the team has been helpful as well!

Appreciate the feedback on auto-tagging too, that’s a fair point. One thing that might help in the meantime is using AI search. You can just search how you think, and it’s designed to surface the right assets even if they’re not perfectly tagged. If you don’t currently have access to that, feel free to reach out and we can get it added to your account for you. I've added a link about it below

Love the example around making media searchable across different dimensions as well — that’s exactly the kind of flexibility we’re aiming to unlock.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash! <3

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 2. Covers pretty much every feature which top DAM systems have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parv S. | Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

As both the admin and the main marketing contact for our Dash account, I get to see it from two angles. On the admin side, setting up and managing the system is straightforward. User permissions, folder structures, organising assets across teams, it all works without needing to dig through documentation every five minutes.
From a marketing perspective, the search function is the standout feature. Being able to search within document content, not just file names or tags, is genuinely impressive. It has saved a lot of time that used to go into opening file after file trying to locate the right version or the right line of copy.
Day-to-day asset management is clean and quick, and the reporting gives us a good enough view of how assets are being used across the team.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Integration with Google Suite templates would be a big addition. Being able to pull assets directly into Slides or Docs templates from within Dash would remove a few steps from our workflow and make it easier to keep branded materials consistent across the team.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash has streamlined the way we manage and access our marketing-approved branding assets by serving as a central brand hub. Before Dash, locating the right version of an asset or ensuring consistency across campaigns was a time-consuming challenge. Now, everything is organised, easily searchable, and accessible to the entire team, which has significantly improved our efficiency.

By centralising all our assets, we’ve eliminated the risk of outdated or unapproved materials being used, ensuring our branding remains consistent across all channels. The collaborative features allow us to share assets seamlessly with stakeholders while maintaining control over permissions, which has been a huge time-saver. Overall, Dash has not only improved our workflow but has also increased confidence in the integrity of our brand materials.

 ### 3. A big reduction in our design time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine W. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

They've also added an AI Chatbot which I've used and got me to the answer I needed.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

it could do with more of an AI search for assets, e.g. I could write "i want a card which is predominately blue".

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We reuse lots of our assets to create new assets. E.g. we have an image of a chicken with some seeds, and we use the seeds in another image. The problem was the file name didn't tell us that there are seeds in the file. This meant we were spending design time recreating assets that already exsisted. We got all our assets on Dash, tagged them up. It means our design time when creating our games has dropped to about 20% of what it was. Lots of $$$ savings!

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Katherine,

Thank you very much for leaving us a review :) Great that you've been able to ditch your massive Dropbox files and save money on designing assets - that's fantastic to hear!

Totally hear you on the wider searching options. Filtering by dominant asset colour is something we've been considering for a while - I'll add your name as a +1 vote against it so you'll be notified if we start working on this (I've dropped the link below if you want to check it out)

Thanks again! All the best,
Barney

 ### 4. Frustrating User Experience and Faulty Invoicing

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Co-Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I find the customer database pretty good and usable. The schedule feature works well.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The user interface for customers is a disaster and causes tons of confusion and wasted hours of staff to support customers. The admin interface is slow and clunky to use. The invoicing is a disaster - complex and full of bugs. Communication and reporting tools have giant holes in them. Invoices are duplicated frequently. When removing a player from a team or program, it doesn't remove or even alert you of the invoice, resulting in hundreds of inaccurate invoices and angry customers. Editing a rental invoice adds changes to the same invoice, creating hundreds of 'change lines'. Crediting a customer is a ten-step process and only works sometimes. Team invoices don't work right either. The learning curve was steep because the interface is so bad for admins. I wouldn't recommend it. It's trash.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dash to manage customer registrations, rental bookings, customer communications, and as our POS system.

 ### 5. Dash Supercharged Our Content Versioning and Distribution Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward L. | CRM and email marketing manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has helped us operate our content versioning and distribution processes more efficiently and effectively than ever.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There's a lack of download tracking where assets have been published with a link which allows the user to download them directly (instead of first being landed on a Dash landing page). As this is the best way for us to serve our assets to our users, it means we have no download count for these assets.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Dash, we didn't have any DAM product in our tech stack, and versioning and publishing content was more manual. We had different storage locations for published assets, and it was impossible to operate versioning or controlled publishing before we took on Dash. It's made a huge difference to the efficiency and effectiveness of these functions within the business.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Oh hello Ed!

Thanks for the review! It’s great to hear Dash has made such a big difference to how you manage versioning and distribute content. Bringing that into one place is exactly what we designed Dash for, so it’s great to know it’s helping your team work more efficiently.

We also really appreciate the feedback around download tracking for direct asset links. That’s a helpful insight and it’s something our team is actively thinking about as we continue to improve reporting and visibility.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience. We’re really glad Dash is helping streamline your content operations!

Cheers,
Barney

 ### 6. Amazing software and support; they listen and implement.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Added new tools, able to sort by so many more ways by different tagging systems. It's kept up with our demand and not slowing down at all. AI search has become useful for a lot of our users allowing them to find relevent materials quicker.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There are a few little bugs here and there, sometime when adding files to a folder, they will decide to place themselves in the root, unable to change their location and having to re-try on another machine for it to work.

**Recommendations to others considering Dash:**

If you like using having an easy to use yet powerful experience, look no further because Dash gives you the strengths of Assetbank but now with a much more easy to use and understandable ux and feature set to get you on your way

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've solved our main issues by moving to dash from AssetBank as the new way of sharing files with our clients as collections as that stopped us from having to add a lot of users on a client basis to access some files. It's also been a way better experience on mobile too which is great for quickly viewing and sharing content without having to be near a desktop or laptop

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for leaving us a review! Great to hear you're finding Dash simple to use - and that it's sharing features make it easy to get your assets to your partners :)

Very much appreciate your feedback on folders. We're working on improving how folders are created, viewed and organised in Dash right now - so watch this space! Also, hopefully a helpful tip: another way to create new folders (without going to admin settings) is through the folder drop-down when viewing an asset - I've attached a link on how to do that

Get in touch if you have any other feedback on how to improve folders in Dash, we'd love to hear your thoughts :)

All the best,
Barney

 ### 7. Brilliant DAM: AI Search, Bulk Editing, and Easy Sharing with Portals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is brilliant and there are many aspects that make it superior to other DAMS. Firstly, we love the AI search functionality as it allows us to quickly find groups of images with a certain subject matter. Because we have multiple brands and multiple asset types, the bulk edit and upload makes adding content really easy and manageable. Instead of spending a lot of time maintaining folders, Dash has introduced us to filtering our assets instead, which is a much smoother user journey. We use Dash to distribute our brand assets to our retail partners and the 'share' and 'Portal' functionality are extremely useful to help us manage access to groups of content. The onboarding process was also really simple and it's been really easy to integrate into our business.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There aren't any downsides to Dash that we've found. However, it would be amazing if we could customise portal homepages more so we could give a more branded experience.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset distribution to retail partners

**Official Response from Amy Burchill:**

> Thanks so much for your review of Dash! :) We are so glad to hear you're getting so much use out of the platform and helping your retailers succeed.

Please feel free to share your feedback about portals in our feedback hub:

 ### 8. Excellent quality DAM, with superb and personalised customer service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Przemyslaw Marek P. | Senior Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The response of the Dash team to our feedback has been outstanding. It's very important for our feedback to be heard and implemented. The functionality and ease of use has been improved. We're also working on new integrations with Dash that will be beneficial for the business long term.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Creation of a bespoke brand portal that doesn't require integration with Corebook and has customisable widgets for the homepage would be beneficial for our brand

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Distribution of assets to collaborators
- Making it much easier to share files with others
- Branded experience when browsing assets
- Assets organised, labelled and in one place

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Przemyslaw, thank you so much for your review, it is really appreciated :) Extra pleased to hear how well portals are working for you!

We are actively working on both of the folder improvements you have mentioned - a) making it easier to create folders (did you know you can do this from the folder drop-down when viewing an asset? I've included an article which shows this) and b) having folders only show the assets directly within them. Watch this space! If you have any other feedback about folders do let us know so we can make sure we take this into consideration.

 ### 9. Clean, Intuitive Dash UX/UI That’s Easy for Admins and Contributors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin L. | Digital Design Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The clean UX/UI of Dash makes it easy incredibly easy to navigate and use - both for admins and contributors who may not be as design savvy. Our organisation has been able to seamlessly integrate it into our day-to-day usage.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

It would be nice if we had the ability to drag and drop files within the app across folders. Although folder structures are not the primary way of organising Dash, we still use some folders for ease of sharing.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash has saved us copious time and increased cross-departmental collaboration. What would typically take minutes or hours to find, aggregate and share files, now can be done in seconds! The creative team is much more organised and external teams can access desired assets and files rapidly.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Erin,

Thanks for the review! We’re really glad to hear Dash has been easy for your team to adopt and that it’s fitting smoothly into your team’s day-to-day work.

It’s great to hear it’s saving time and helping teams find and share assets in seconds, too! That’s exactly what we’re aiming for.

Thanks as well for the feedback on dragging and dropping files across folders. We appreciate the suggestion and will pass it along to the product team.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience :)

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 10. An excellent platform for medium-sized companies

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fanny D. | Marketing Manager, Consumer Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Easy to use on a daily basis, allowing us to keep everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We would like to be able to have separate folders for each user to put in a personal “collection”, for example by adding a star to their favourite assets, so that they are easier to find when searching for the same ones all the time.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DASH enables us to centralize all our assets, making them available to all employees within the company, as well as to our partners such as communications agencies and photographers. Everyone has access to the same assets, avoiding confusion within the company.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Fanny, thanks so much for your review! Really pleased to hear that overall Dahs is working well for you.

Did you know you can restrict folder access so a user can be a contributor on one folder and a viewer on the others? You do this using permission groups, which I've added an article link below. Do give that a try and get in touch using the in-app chat if that doesn't work for you, and we'll be happy to help further.

I've also created a feature request for you regarding multi-lingual support, which you are welcome to vote and comment on: https://feedback.dash.app/b/8my8jo07/feature-ideas/multi-lingual-support

 ### 11. We love using Dash

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loni S. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We love how clean and easy the interface is to use. We love being able to download photos in different sizes. Dash takes a lot of work off of my plate and saves me from having to give my colleagues the images they request, instead they can easily access Dash and download those images.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Often the automatic tags do not relate and we have to delete them.

**Recommendations to others considering Dash:**

Easy-to-use, efficient and affordable DAM platform.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a long time, we needed a one-stop shop for content creators, customers, press and our internal team can access the creative assets they require.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Loni, thank you for your review :) Great that you are enjoying our recently-launched Canva integration!

I've included a link below to our tracked Idea for account-based auto-tagging intelligence, which would be a great addition I agree. Do vote/comment on this to increase the chance we prioritise it!

 ### 12. Easy Uploads, Flexible Downloads, and Great 1:1 Onboarding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy B. | Senior Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like most is how easy it is to use. It’s very quick to upload content, customise your parameters, and then share. The download options also make it simple for users to choose the right file format and size preferences for assets, which cuts out a lot of internal requests our design team would otherwise have to handle. We also received great service, including 1:1 sessions that helped us get started.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

It would be really helpful to have a quick-share option for folders, not just individual assets.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s not just helping us provide assets to people when they need them; it’s also enabling them to find those assets themselves through easy-to-use search features.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Andy,

Thanks for the great review! It’s brilliant to hear Dash is helping your team share assets quickly and reduce the number of requests going to your design team.

Also really glad the onboarding sessions were helpful - will pass on your feedback to the team!

Thanks as well for the feedback about quick-sharing folders. That’s a really useful suggestion, and we’ll make sure it’s shared with the product team as we continue improving how assets can be distributed.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 13. Intuitive Rollout That Makes Our Brand Look Polished

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marianna S. | Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

It's a very intuitive experience that's been easy to roll out to various teams within my company. It makes us look polished as a brand. Our rep Kataya is also fantastic and such a pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Very limited viewing data, for example: we'd love to be able to somehow gate a portal page to capture (with an opt in) a specific end user and get viewing/download data. That would unlock way more use within our company.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One clean, easy to use material hub that is useful both internally and externally.

 ### 14. A modern, polished DAM solution with outstanding customer service!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan S. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is a very slick and polished DAM solution with excellent customer service. The software feels lightweight and responsive, and it's easy to pick up and establish a workflow. It has a good balance of features and simplicity, which makes for a nice experience regardless of experience level. Installation into our Shopify store was quick and seamless.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We were hoping that the Shopify integration would be a bit more robust. This may in fact be a limitation on the Shopify side and no fault of Dash, however we were looking for a solution that could tie into our Shopify media library at a deeper level, providing seamless image creation in the theme editor area. Instead one must essentially export new images to the Shopify library any time a new asset or change to an existing asset is needed, which is essentially the same workflow required with the native Shopify media library.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash didn't ultimately work for us, but we could see it working well for a lot of teams. On the Shopify side, for stores that don't already use a PIM software for product management including product assets, the features that Dash offers are pretty good and will sync up well with their products.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the thoughtful review! We really appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback. It’s great to hear you found Dash polished, responsive, and easy to get started with, and that the Shopify installation was smooth.

Totally hear you about our current Shopify integration. The good news is we’re just about to roll out an enhanced Shopify integration designed to better support brands managing large product catalogues! It'll make it much easier to manage hundreds of product images in Dash and update product listings in Shopify at scale.

While we understand Dash wasn’t ultimately the right fit for your setup, we really appreciate the kind words about the product and our support team. It's been a pleasure working with you guys and you know where we are if you ever need us again in the future :)

Take care, all the best,
Barney

 ### 15. DASH - we wouldn't be without it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill D. | Supervisor, Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We have many different users both external and internal, the beauty of Dash is you can limit what access each user has, so useful!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

As I stated previously there isn't anything I dislike about Dash.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is streamlining the way we access and share our assets with our staff and partners, they can access the assets themselves and choose their own selections for their projects.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Bill,

What a great review, thank you so much! So cool that Dash is helping you streamline how you're using and sharing your assets. If there ever is anything you'd like to see improved, feel free to leave us feedback using the link below :)

All the best,
Barney

 ### 16. Dash Makes Asset Access Easy, but Needs Speed and Communication Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ron V. | Creative and Marketing Assistant/Site Merchandizer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like about Dash most is that it makes our assets easily accessible while retaining their quality. Anyone from the team can find it and DL for any use-cases they may have without needing the help of a graphic designer or creative person to assist.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

One of the things I don't like about Dash is the speed. It's quite slow on some very important days. Another one is the lack of ability to talk inside Dash or make comments much like Asana. I think this would be great soon so teams can directly communicate there with multi-channel notif to comms apps like slack, mobile phones, and emails.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think storage and accessibility is the biggest benefit right now that I and the team is getting from Dash.

 ### 17. Clear, Simple File Organization Without SharePoint-Style Complexity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen K. | Director Digital Content, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The file organization is clear, and there’s no complicated folder structure like you’d find in a storage system such as SharePoint. Customer support has been great. Still learning about the ease of integration and transfer of files.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I’m still getting used to the different mindset required for the folder structure.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear, visual, and creative for sharing files with both internal and external agencies.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Kristen,

Thanks for the thoughtful review! Really glad to hear Dash is helping make file organisation clearer and easier to manage - there is life after SharePoint after all :)

And you’re not alone in mentioning the mindset shift around structure. Dash is designed to move away from traditional nested folders toward something more visual and flexible for creative teams, so it can take a little time to get used to. If there’s ever anything we can help with as you settle in, our team is always happy to help.

Thanks again for sharing your experience! We really appreciate it.

Cheers,
Barney

 ### 18. Intuitive Digital Asset Management with Easy Tagging and Portals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eleni F. | Creative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash seems like a very intuitive platform for organizing and sharing digital assets. Its tagging and portal features make it easy to manage content collaboratively, which could be really useful for our team.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Nothing that I dislike about dash. I will say is really easy to use.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing our content.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Eleni,

Thanks so much for your lovely review! Great to hear you're enjoying Dash. If you have any feedback in the future, just let us know :)

All the best,
Barney

 ### 19. Dash Streamlines Teamwork and Boosts Designer Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

As a designer, I often get requests from teammates for different graphics and images for our brand, which can disrupt my workflow and reduce efficiency. With Dash, however, those teammates are able to quickly find the files or images they need and export them in multiple file types and sizes. Dash provides a smooth experience from beginning to end, starting with a detailed introductory discussion to understand the account's requirements, followed by a fast and straightforward implementation process. They offer great customer support, and by using Dash often, my team's workflow has been greatly improved by no longer having to wait for me to deliver the files they need.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

My experience with Dash has been excellent so far, and it currently offers all the features my team and I require. If I were to suggest an enhancement, it would be to allow members not only to resize images, but also to adjust the canvas dimensions as needed. For example, it would be helpful if users could select a logo file and, before downloading, change the dimensions to a square format, adding empty space around the logo if necessary.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Dash, my teammates no longer have to reach out to me when needing images like logos or icons, nor do they have to sit and wait for me to deliver them.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for your review, we really appreciate it :) It is great to hear how well Dash is helping your team.

Regarding your feedback, that's a really interesting suggestion. Please do raise it in our Ideas Hub (linked below) so others can vote and comment on it as well - this is the best way to have your idea considered by our product team.

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I've been using Dash for a while, and it's been a game changer. The system is incredibly organized and intuitive, which means I get things done without any fuss. The interface is so user-friendly that I never have to waste time hunting down the right function.

What really stands out for me is Dash's flexibility—it adapts seamlessly to different workflows while keeping everything clear and structured. Plus, it runs smoothly and reliably, so I can always count on it.

Overall, Dash simplifies my work and really boosts my efficiency. I can't recommend it enough if you're looking for a powerful yet easy-to-use solution!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I love using Dash because it’s super clear and organized. The layout is just right, so I can find everything quickly without wasting time digging around for functions.

It’s also really practical and convenient. Dash streamlines my work, making tasks more efficient and keeping everything neat and structured. Everything feels intuitive, which makes the whole experience smooth.

All in all, Dash is a great tool that keeps things simple and effective. It’s genuinely a pleasure to use!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is a real game changer when it comes to cutting down on inefficiency and clutter. Everything's laid out clearly, so instead of wasting time hunting for features in a messy interface, I can jump straight to what I need, which makes my day run a lot smoother.

One of the best parts is how it simplifies even the more complex tasks. By streamlining processes and cutting out the extra steps, it saves me tons of time—time I can use to focus on what really matters.

 ### 21. I would recommend it.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sol C. | Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We enjoy more features and have great experience keeping everything in one place. Save us a lot of time finding files.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Could be nice to have more options to filter files.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiently groups material into topic boards and helps to find customer-related material more easily

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Sol,

Thanks so much for your review! Happy to hear you'd recommend Dash :)

Cheers for your feedback on the home screen! Your assets are sorted by most recent just under your folders. Are you suggesting that 'recently added' could be linked to above or alongside the folders to make it easier to notice? Good suggestion if so, feel free to add it to our feedback board so it can be voted on :) I've linked to it below

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 22. Effortless Implementation and User-Friendly Experience with Dash

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will T. | Head of Production, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has been a significant improvement over our previous fileserver. It was straightforward to use, and both the implementation and training processes were completed very quickly. The AI features are super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The integrations with other popular apps currently require an additional payment to third-party providers. It would be fantastic if these integrations were available for free.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our current fileserver is slow and cumbersome, and it can only be accessed through a VPN when working remotely. In contrast, Dash is quick, cloud-based, and comes with additional features.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Will,

Thanks for the review! Really glad to hear Dash has been such a big improvement over your previous server, and that the implementation and training were quick and straightforward. Great to hear the AI features are proving helpful too.

Appreciate the feedback on integrations as well. Some of these rely on third-party services, which is why there can be an additional cost, but it’s definitely useful for us to hear how customers feel about that as we continue improving the platform. We offer integrations with Shopify and Canva (for example) for free!

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash, super happy to have you guys on board :)

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 23. Clean interface, great for branding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ngan N. | Social Media Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has a clean and beautiful interface, making it easy to keep everything well-organised. It’s a great tool for managing and presenting brand assets consistently, and it really helps keep branding aligned across the team.

Good support team

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Sometimes the app can run a little slow, and there are still many features that I feel could be explored further to get the most out of it.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash helps us organise and present our brand assets consistently, making it easier for the whole team to stay aligned. The support team is also very responsive and quick to explain any issues we encounter. If we run into more challenges in the future, we know we can rely on them for assistance.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for leaving us a review :)

Its great to hear that Dash is working well for you. I'm sorry to hear about the slowness though, that's not good! This can often be down to local internet connections etc, but if that ever happens please do get in touch with us via the in-app chat and we'll always investigate our side to see if anything is going on.

Regarding features, we always love to hear how we can improve Dash, so please do raise your ideas in our Ideas Hub (link added below), as well as voting and commenting on existing ideas. If there's anything you are unsure of, do give us a shout on the in-app chat and we'll be happy to chat through how we can help.

 ### 24. Incredibly User-Friendly Photo Storage for Large Teams—Auto-Tagging & Shareable Galleries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Political Organization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is so user friendly; it's hard to overstate how great the interface is. I love the auto-tagging feature. There's a lot of features Dash has that I hadn't even thought to look for, such as shareable galleries, and public submission links/pages. I love the way they've structured folders, user access, and so much more. It is by far the most user-friendly photo storage software that I found (and I researched heavily) that suits a large team of folks with varying technical skills. Recommend 10 out of 10!!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

No notes! Truly it's been a great tool to use.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inefficient photo storage system that's difficult to share, organize, sort, distribute among multiple staff members and externally. Dash solves for all this and more.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hello there,

Ah what a lovely review, thank you for sharing this! So happy to hear you're having a great experience with us - hearing feedback like this makes building it all the more worthwhile! :)

If you have any feedback in the future do let us know, we're all ears!

All the best,
Barney and the Dash team

 ### 25. Good product, still has some kinks to work out

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth H. | Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like that I can upload all of my media in one spot and anyone in our office can access it, it's grouped by client, it's user friendly, tons of search options.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish there was an app option.
It does crash sometimes.
It's hard to find my company I work for from the homepage of Dash.
Also, I need the standard forn how long a link is viable to be forver instead of 7 days

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One specific location to keep all our media for clients in an easy access and user friendly interface.

 ### 26. Great platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I love the customisation features to personalise your own homepage and how you can have files in multiple folders. The customer service so far has been very positive as we've had multiple video call introductions to the platform with different members of our team. Being able to use my own custom sizes to save files saves me lots of time as a social media manager! Dash's aesthetic and organisational methods bring out the best of our company's photos.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish our plan came with more storage, however it is easy and affordable to add more on. I love how easy it is to share photos with those outside of your organisation but wish it didn't use up so many of our limited downloads!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to keep our best photos separate from the rest and share them more publically with ease.

 ### 27. Effortless Organization and User-Friendly Design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lois F. | Trust Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

So easy to use and organise all our assets.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The input time of loading all the assets, but after that initial work everything is done!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Empowering our staff to utilise the assets themselves and not rely on me to provide everything.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Lois,

Thanks for the review! Super glad to hear Dash has made it easy to organise and manage your assets.

You’re right that the initial work can take a bit of time when you’re bringing everything into one place, but it’s great to hear things run smoothly once that setup is done. It really pays off doing that initially import and tagging, and our team are always happy to help with it :)

Again, really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with Dash. Do keep in touch if there's anything we can help you with

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 28. Nice and convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hubert Ian D. | Junior Data Specialist, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Easy access to for header images and such.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think adding the location of the picture as part of the description of every picture would be a nice detail.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps save time of finding good quality pictures, videos, and stuff.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi, and thanks so much for your review :) I'm glad to hear Dash has made things easier and faster for you!

Regarding picture location, Dash can automatically detect location data in photos and fill in a field for you. Just create a suitable field and set it as the target for the location scanning, in Admin > Intelligence.

If that doesn't quite work for you, just get in touch and we'll be happy to listen to your requirements and see how we can solve them :)

 ### 29. Super Simple, Intuitive, and Scales Effortlessly—AI Search Is Great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Head of Finance and IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is super simple to use, intuitive and easy to scale as your company scales. The new AI serach functionality is great.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Nothing yet, it's a great tool for a small business.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash helps us keep track of our digital assets in a simple way. Also very easy for our asset creators to upload straight to Dash.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Chris,

Thank you for your review! Very happy to hear you're enjoying our latest AI search functionality, plenty more where that came from in the works :)

If you have any feedback in the future, do let us know!

All the best,
Barney

 ### 30. Intuitive, Easy-to-Use System

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The system is intuitive and easy to use

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The search is not very precise, at least not yet for us

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all of our images in one place, avoiding duplicates and manual work

 ### 31. Dash.app simple and modern digital asset management system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberto S. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The user interface is clean, modern, and genuinely enjoyable to use.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Would be nice to be able to select our own “Featured” assets to be displayed on Home page (instead of the default Recently added assets) and also an uploadable thumbnail for Folders instead of it just showing some assets in the folder.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple clean controlled access to company photography and videos - with portal for access by clients

 ### 32. Best-in-Class Folder Structuring with Superb Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Hands down the folder structuring. Beats out so many other DAMS with that alone. And customer service is superb - I get responses right away.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I haven't really come across anything that I truly dislike yet. There was a feature enhancing option I'd like to see, but they take your suggestions to improve the service.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a way to share large assets across a wide group of internal and external people and groups, and DASH solves that.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Why hello! Thank you so much for your lovely review. If you have any feedback in the future, do keep in touch!

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 33. Great UX and Fast Downloads, but Needs Better Sorting and Bulk Naming Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Nice UX, modern feel, easy multi-size download function, easy navigation, quick load times.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Inability to alter the total overview view so that the most recently uploaded always appear first. Can't add a variable data field to bulk naming of images to easily put all images into a fixed category when downloading them but still give them an individual name e.g. Christmas Party 1, Christmas Party 2, Christmas Party 3 etc.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating one hub for all of our content as a business. Currently it's just for images but in the future it could and should be a brand repository as a whole.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time leave us a review, we really appreciate it :)

To address your concerns to see if we can help:
- You can sort the "All assets" view by date added, which will show the most recently added assets first. Would that help? Just look for the sorting menu at the top-right of the screen.
- Regarding the download filename, we are actually working on this at the moment. Please do have a look at this feature request and vote/comment so we can ensure we take your requirements into consideration: https://feedback.dash.app/roadmap/ability-to-controlconfigure-the-filename-of-a-downloaded-asset

If there is anything else Dash can do better, please do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help!

 ### 34. Simple , high quality DAM Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The best feedback we have had internally about Dash is the simplicity of the interface, are previous DAM software had a lot of functionality but unlike dash had a complex interface which meant people struggled to get the most out of it. Dash has exceeded our expectations and Mike who onboarded us has been extremely helpful throughout the process!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

So far is all good with DASH - no complaints

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a developer with 7 active sites across the country so the DAM acts as a key part of internal communications on project status as well as providing collateral for marketing / social media content

 ### 35. Great way to keep assets organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie A. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has been a great way to share assets between different people. It has a very intuitive design - very easy to learn. I especially like the option to upload photos - I use this with one of my clients to get photos from the field.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I haven't found anything that I dislike about Dash at this point. Maybe once I hit the storage limits I'll dislike a price raise, but I haven't hit that point yet.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clean way to organize assets and share with others.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Katie,

Thanks so much for your review! Really happy to hear you're making good use of Dash, and that you're using it to get creative to clients on the go :)

If you have any feedback or areas we can improve on, do let us know - just start a chat with us in-app and we'll be all ears.

All the best,
Barney

 ### 36. The Asset Management That Make Things Simple(r)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine C. | Direct Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The easy way to organize all assets so you can easily find what you're looking for, it's easy to use, easy to collaborate and share assets with the team and for different type of campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Personally, nothing so far, but I'm unaware of pricing, that might be an aspect worth digging a bit deeper

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps accelerate the execution of marketing campaigns by reducing the amount of time looking for assets and sharing those with the team

 ### 37. Easy to Use with Beautiful Design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edu J. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Easy to use, nice Design. Excellent cutomer support

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The approval process and feedback could be better

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assets with an expiration date, organize assets in an easy way

 ### 38. Easy to Use and Cost Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit C. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Ease of using dash and an efficient customer support team.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Cannot see the data for the past months.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we needed to store a lot of assets on a software that is easy to use and accessible. Dash has solved the problem of storage and keeping all the assets in one centralized place.

 ### 39. Seemless Switch to Dash

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack B. | Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash makes it really easy to categorise and store your assets in a way that is easy to navigate for anyone who isn't familiar with the platform. Having assets laid out in this way makes it really intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I'd like to be able to easily 'select' a whole folder or sub-folder and send that as a single link.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us the means to effectively communicating assets out to our entire business - this is a huge time saver and saves endless emails clogging up inboxes.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Jack, thanks so much for the review! Glad to hear Dash is working well for you.

We're tracking a feature request for sharing a folder, so please do vote and comment on it! I've added a link below. In the meantime, you can easily share a folder by opening it, selecting all assets and adding them to a collection. You can then easily share the collection. Also you can share folders themselves by adding them to a portal. Just some workarounds you might like to try :)

 ### 40. Dash is a great DAM tool and a possible replacement for much more expensive asset management systems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is a very competent system and in many ways is a step up from our previous DAM (digital asset management) system which was Brandfolder. The monthly spend of this solution is extremely competitive and i like the model of including all features to all plans and basing the cost solely on the download activity per month.
The tagging/metadata system is extremely flexibile and we were able to import all of our previous metadata into several custom fields based on categories like PRODUCT NAME, COLLECTION, COLOR of each product.

Overall we are very very happy.
There are a few features that we are looking for that Dash does not currently have and we hope that they consider implementing.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Getting assets from DASH into is supported, but the opposite is not true, there is no way to "publish" an asset from Canva back into DASH as a final asset.
This is 50% of a solution in creative workflow processes.
There needs to be a "round-trip" method to pull a raw image from Dash into Canva, add other creative/text layers and then publish it right back out to Dash for consumption in Shopify, Hubspot, etc.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash helps us by disseminating our company brand assets and product images to internal teams but really shines when publishing them to collections for external partners.

 ### 41. Manageable System for Video

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eunice G. | Video Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

There are times when I have to deal with thousands of clips for one job. Dash has helped me feel like I have some control over this mess. For each project, the platform lets me set up a clear group structure, separating them by shoot date, camera, or scene. This visual order makes it very simple to find what I'm looking for in my footage. It also saves me a lot of time to be able to quickly watch previews of video files right in my browser

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Previews take a little longer to load for me sometimes, especially when my internet link isn't very strong.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it very easy to get feedback from clients or coworkers without having to upload huge files to multiple platforms because you can make shareable links for specific folders or even individual clips.

 ### 42. A Simple and Efficient Way to Share Our Creative Assets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loni S. | Design Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We love how easy-to-use and clean the dashboard is. Our team members and partners are able to easily access our creative library and download the imagery they need in the required dimensions. This saves our team endless time from having to track down the necessary images ourselves and format them based on the requirements. Our imagines are easily organized and we know what is live so unapproved photos don't get into the wrong hands.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We really haven't come across anything we don't like about Dash.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We spent countless hours tracking down photos and videos for our customers, often having to format them according to specific requirements. This process was repeated for each client, sometimes requiring us to reformat the same image with only slight variations in dimensions. There were also instances where we accidentally sent the wrong photos to clients since everything would be saved on our own desktops. Sending Google Drive links came with a multitude of issues related to permissions and denied access and took up too much of our very expensive Google Drive space. Remembering where photos were stored also was a problem we were having.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Loni,

Really appreciate you sharing your experience! It sounds like Dash has made a difference in how you manage and share creative assets—no more time wasted tracking down files or dealing with formatting headaches. That’s exactly what we designed it for, so it’s great to hear it’s working so well for your team.

And no dislikes? We’ll take that as a big win!

Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review—it’s great to have you on board.

Cheers,
Barney

 ### 43. A great product at a fair price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlsson E. | Head of Marketing & Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has all the features you need in a DAM (I say that as someone who has spent £15kpa on DAMs before) and it comes at a totally fair price. It's fast, easy, nice UI. The team love it, I love it - we're happy!!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

It would be nice if you could share a folder externally without having to add it to a collection. But really there's nothing I don't like!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has got our assets off SharePoint and into a user-friendly, nicely tagged, organised DAM.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Carlsson, thanks so much for your review. I'm really glad to hear Dash is working out so well for you :)

Did you know you can share folders externally by adding them to a portal? Here's some more info for you: https://help.dash.app/en/articles/5626978-how-to-create-a-public-portal-of-your-dash. If you have any questions, please do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help!

 ### 44. Great tool for small and medium business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose S. | Content creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

For years I've been looking for a Digital Asset Management that does not cost a fortune and helps you organize your assets. After testing Dash for about 3 months now I really like how easy it is to manage assets. I like they are always adding features. They listen to your needs.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The download limitation is a bit too low even at a midrange plan, they should increase the quota since that caps your workflow. Integration with other platforms is a bit limited too

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organize the digital media we work with daily. It's fast to find assets without having to dig into 100 folders

 ### 45. Affordable and Efficient for Teams of All Sizes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma T. | Senior Video Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has a tagging system which helps in sorting the assets by the campaign, client or the deadline which can be quite useful during several campaigns. To be more precise, I like real time collaboration and version history options on Dash. We can see who changed what (no more wrong version syndroms) and share files and assets with freelancers or clients straightaway

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

A few minor usability issues that is not solved; for instance, one can only give links with a default expiration. It’s a security feature but it could be awesome to have a little more control over these.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Dash we have been able to have an easy time managing our assets. It is very easy to locate the necessary files and materials since the collection is easily searchable and easily tagged.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Emma,

Thanks for your review! It’s great to hear that Dash’s tagging system, collaboration, and version history are making a real difference to your work :)

We appreciate your feedback on link expiration settings. This is a feature we introduced last year so you can now set your links to never expire - I've dropped a link about this below.

Thanks again for sharing your experience—we love hearing how Dash is working for you! 🚀

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 46. Excellence in Data Asset Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomas C. | Graphic designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We've been using DASH for several years, and these are some of the key improvements we've noticed:

- An excellent choice for a digital asset repository and organizer.
- Makes sharing easy, organized and controlled through portals, allowing us to seamlessly distribute materials to various stakeholders and project collaborators.
- Simple and efficient workflows and organizational processes.
- Outstanding customer support—always available to help, offering smart solutions that enhance our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

- it's not possible to easily and efficiently tag pictures with metadata that has been already fed in DASH
- no face recognition, and the automatic (suggested) tagging isn't well trained
-

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

organizing, through the use of tags, the huge amount of images we have stored in our company servers
it's great because it makes the search and sharing so much easy

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Tomas,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! It’s fantastic to hear that Dash has made such a positive impact on your work. And we’re really pleased that you’ve had such a great experience with our customer support team: they’ll be very happy to hear your kind words!

Appreciate your feedback on metadata tagging and automatic suggestions. Improving search and tagging is always on our radar (watch this space!), and insights like yours help us understand where we can improve things further.

It’s great to know Dash is making a real difference in managing your image library. Thanks again for sharing this!

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 47. Efficient Folder Navigation, but Search Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The best thing I love about Dash is the left sidebar — being able to view and access multiple folders at once makes finding assets incredibly easy and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I dislike that the search functionality isn’t as effective as I expected. Instead of showing relevant folders, it displays all the assets within them. It would be much more useful if I could search for specific folders and then choose which one to open

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves a lot of my asset management issues, with it's easy navigation so user friendly operating system!

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for you review :)

Being able to search for a specific folder sounds like a great improvement. Please do vote on the feature request for this which I've added a link to below, to help increase the priority of this :)

In the meantime, you can browse for specific folders in the sidebar, and you can jump to any folder an asset is in by clicking that folder's name in the metadata sidebar when viewing an asset.

If you'd like any further support with this, just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help :)

 ### 48. A great platform for storing and organizing your digital assets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | Digital Properties Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

- Being able to tag/categorize your assets in a number of ways
- Good UI/UX interface
- Great documentation
- Great support through chat and onboarding calls
- Open forum for platform for feature requests/improvements

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

- Contributors can't add controlled tags (but admins should be able to give this capability)
- User should be able to change his/her view to show/hide file meta data that appears below asset
- AI tagging is pretty much useless
- Storage limit is too small compared to competing platforms

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to store and categorize the best of our digital assets to they can be quickly and easily searched and used.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Adam, thanks so much for your detailed review! It is great to hear the feedback of both things we are doing well and things we can improve :)

It is great to hear the UX, support and documentation are all helping you. Here are some thoughts on your other points of feedback:

- Contributors unable to add tags - this is by design so that admins can control the tags in use, to ensure users use the right tag and to avoid incorrect tags (e.g. typos etc) being added. But I'm sure there are plenty of use cases where allowing contributors to create them would help. I can see you've raised a feature request for this - great! That is the best way for our product team to review this idea.

- Users changing metadata shown under thumbnail - that's a really interesting suggestion! Please do raise this in our ideas hub (link below) so our team can monitor interest in this.

- AI tagging - I'm sorry to hear this isn't providing value. AI tags are there to provide an easy way to improve the searchability of assets before you've applied your own custom metadata. We are very close to launching a new AI-powered search that will hopefully offer a much improved experience for this, that won't rely on AI tags. Watch this space!

- Storage limit - thanks for the feedback! I believe we are reviewing this and likely to increase the storage included in our plans in the near future.

 ### 49. Dash makes getting images web ready easy.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rory H. | UI/UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The best thing about Dash for me is having the ability to crop resize the image before I download. As I work almost exclusively building websites for my company, this saves me a lot of time as I do not need to rely on another tool after I download.

The AI tags also make my life easier. Rather than scroll through folders searching for what I want, I can just search it up directly instead.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

While I have tags applied, when I use the search feature it automatically deselects my selected tags. This is certainly a painpoint as I will have to add them back every time I make a new search.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A problem is having to use other tools to resize my asset after I download it.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Rory,

Thanks very much for your review! Very glad to hear that Dash's cropping and resizing tools are saving you time!

Also appreciate your feedback on the search experience and I've shared this with our team. If you have any other suggestions, we'd love to hear them!

Thanks again for using Dash. 🚀

All the best,
Barney

 ### 50. The most helpful team I've experienced

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave P. | Creative and Digital Communications Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Right from my first enquiry the Dash team were on hand to help guide through how the system would benefit us and how we could actually use it. It was a breathe of fresh air to have such swift and responsive answers to queries and I felt comfortable taking the project forward.
The UI is simple, easy to follow and the system is great.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Really struggle to think of any... there could be more custom options for types of view when you first login.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding the right image amongst the thousands we have on file is massively painful and a long process. What we did with Dash is solve this by creating tags and fields for each image so users can search for the right image quickly and easily without those annoying folder structures.
