What do you like best about Customer.io?

Integration with our app events and data that support the ability to build out complex automations for targeted and personalised campaigns.

Combining our work with Claude MCP, and the native AI agent, has significantly reduced time to build as well as improved monitoring of performance, issues and successes.

Design templates and saved references have allowed us to brand across multiple white labels for email and in-app messaging, again saving time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

We have at times been unable to identify the root cause of poor deliverability and low metrics.

I would like a greater variety of triggers for automations, an example: I have struggled with screen views and have needed to create segments to allow for this.

I would like to build broadcast workflows for single sends in a similar UI to automations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Customer.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

My focus is on in-app usage so delivering targeted and personalised push and in-app messaging to our users increases feature engagement and stickiness. We previously had very few in-app messaging capabilities and a poor push system. We have now seen an increase in usage across a variety of areas since implementing better communication strategies that have been significantly easier to build and manage.
