I like that we set Crowdin up several years ago and haven’t needed to change anything; it just works. It was simple to set up and maintain. Our product managers like in-context editing, and I like that it lets non-technical product managers translate content or change source text with less communication and developer involvement. I also like that it reduces communication lag between developers and the product team, and that it offers automated translation with integrated AI solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes Crowdin’s auto translation generates very weird results: a phrase of two words can turn into a hundred synonyms listed all together, and we need to catch that in code review. We also sometimes get conflicts in the integration when the product team updates the source file and translations in the same batch, and the integration falls off. It’s not that critical, but it annoys developers to fix it from time to time. Restarting usually gets it working again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
