"Reliable Queue Management for High-Demand Events"
5/5
What do you like best about CrowdHandler?

What I like most about CrowdHandler is the control it gives us during high-demand registrations. We organize large trading card game events, and when registration opens we can have a very large number of players trying to enter at the same time.

CrowdHandler allows us to place users in a virtual waiting room instead of letting everyone hit our registration system at once. Being able to control how quickly users are released from the queue has been especially valuable because it helps us protect our website and registration flow during traffic spikes.

We also regularly use the waiting room messaging to communicate important information to players while they are in line, such as registration instructions, availability, and what to expect when registration opens. This has helped us provide a much more organized experience compared with simply having hundreds or thousands of users refreshing the website at the same time.

Another important benefit is the visibility CrowdHandler gives us during registration. Being able to monitor the queue and understand how many users are waiting or being admitted makes it much easier for our team to manage a live registration event and react if something unexpected happens.

Overall, CrowdHandler has allowed us to run registrations with much more confidence and has become an important part of how we manage our larger events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CrowdHandler?

The main thing I would like to see improved is more flexibility between pricing tiers.

Our normal events may need around 1,500–2,000 queue positions, while only one or two times per month we may need significantly more capacity. Because these traffic spikes are occasional rather than constant, moving to a much higher monthly plan can be difficult to justify.

Having more intermediate capacity options, temporary upgrades, or short-term add-ons for specific events would make it much easier for us to scale when needed while keeping the service cost aligned with our regular usage.

For businesses like ours, where traffic can vary significantly from one event to another, this kind of flexibility would provide a lot of value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
