What do you like best about Crelate?

I love the layout of Crelate and the tools they've recently introduced, like discovery and insight agents. I've been searching for these capabilities in an ATS for a long time. It's great to be able to start sourcing from our own data using AI agents. I also love that they're committed to improving the platform by incorporating user feedback and that they offer excellent customer service. I know if there are any issues or training requests, Cait Mack from the client experience team will always be responsive and connect us with the right person to address our needs. Additionally, being able to use AI agents to source contact information from various platforms makes reaching out to potential candidates and customers much more effective, which is incredibly valuable - we had attempted to utilize other vendors for this purpose in the past but found Crelate's data to be more accurate and useful. I appreciate that they're dedicated to constant improvements and that our feedback helps guide those enhancements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crelate?

Some of the things that I wish Crelate could do a little bit better is to prioritize what the insight agent captures as the most up to date information. For example, when we have a candidate in the system with a LinkedIn profile attached, the insight agent may connect and pull all of the information from that LinkedIn profile. But if that LinkedIn profile is outdated or doesn't have the most recent work history captured on there, and one of our recruiting members reaches out, receives their resume, uploads it into the system, the insight agent doesn't have a way to differentiate between the most accurate up to date information to pull that into the insight summary. So there are times where I wish we could prioritize that so that all insight summaries on all profiles have the most up to date accurate information and prioritizes the information that we manually add to the system in terms of resumes or customer profiles and contracts and things like that. I also wish, and this isn't just a Crelate issue, but this is an issue that I found across the board with all CRMs and all applicant tracking systems, but we primarily focus on the cleared space of talent. So anybody who holds a government security clearance, and as of right now, there's really no accurate way to filter between the types of clearances that you might be seeking on a candidate's profile. And um, there's only really like a way for you to select whether or not they have a clearance or not. And oftentimes our jobs require us to decipher between a public trust, a secret, a top secret, all the way up through a TSSCI with a full scope polygraph or DHS clearances or Department of Energy clearances, things like that. So, um, being able to source in our system using the agents based off of um, customized filters that we've built out would be awesome. As of right now, you can't, like you can do a boolean search for a clearance or search by a clearance filter, but when you're talking to the agents and you're asking, can you please only find me the types of candidates who have a TSSCI clearance or uh top secret, sensitive compartmented information clearance, it's not always accurate when it comes to searching the types of candidates with those actual clearances documented in their profile. It's seen as a skill or a um, it's seen as like a skill or a certification instead of its own category. And if Crelate was able to build out some type of a AI search capability where you could like specifically search through all the different types of government clearances, that would be tremendously helpful, but I also understand that not every candidate is sharing that they have a clearance on their resume since the government tells them not to publicly disclose when they have a clearance. Um, and maybe just the lack of data on candidate resumes and what's available on their LinkedIn profiles makes it not possible to accurately filter out people who do and don't have clearances, but that would be a game changer for us in this industry is to be able to filter and use the agents to identify people who have specific types of clearances.
