Instant Screen Sharing removes a lot of friction when we need to understand what a user is actually seeing. We can send a link, they join directly from the browser, and there’s no account creation or software installation to deal with first. That’s especially helpful on mobile, or with users who aren’t comfortable with technical tools. Remote Control is the feature I find most useful as a developer. We can share a specific tab or area and let the person interact with it from their own browser. The viewer still doesn’t need to install anything, and control remains limited to the shared area. This makes it much easier to verify exactly what they type, what they click, and where the behavior starts to diverge from our own tests. We also use Monitor Engagement and the Preview Window during support calls and demos to confirm the viewer is still connected and to spot connection lag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CrankWheel is still much better for immediate screen sharing than for deep debugging. It doesn’t replace logs, tracing, session replay, Sentry, or LogRocket, and I wouldn’t treat it as a substitute for those tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
