As an MSP, Cove has made backup management much simpler for our team. The cloud-first architecture means we don’t need local appliances at client sites, which reduces cost and complexity. Deployment is fast, the agent is lightweight, and the TrueDelta technology keeps backup windows short and bandwidth usage low, even for clients with limited internet links. The centralized multi-tenant dashboard gives us a clear view of every client’s backup status in one place, so we can quickly spot failures and act on them. We also rely on the Microsoft 365 backup for Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, which is managed from the same console. Recovery testing and the ability to restore files or full systems quickly give us and our clients real peace of mind. Overall, it’s stable, efficient and saves our analysts a lot of time. There are only a few points that could be improved. Reporting could be more customizable, especially for creating client-facing reports with our own branding and specific metrics. Some settings are spread across different areas of the console, which can take a little time for new team members to learn. The initial seeding of large data sets can take a while over slower connections, although the LocalSpeedVault option helps with that.
