"CounselMore Streamlines College Planning with Powerful Customization and Automation"

What do you like best about CounselMore?

CounselMore is modern, customizable college planning software that has made managing our students and counseling team so much easier. The College List Builder, Evaluate Campus Fit Report, and Admissions Calculator help us create thoughtful, balanced college lists, while the Student Portal and College Readiness Curriculum keep everyone organized and accountable. I particularly appreciate the Google Drive Integration, automation, and time savings that allow us to spend less time on administrative work and more time counseling families. The supportive counselor community is another huge bonus, along with the free tools available in Settings > Toolbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CounselMore?

It is super important to force your families to utilize the system. We created many ways to push them to the platform: you can book appointments there, our resources are all in the program and we even have families sign our contract that says they will use the system. There is a learning curve simply because the platform offers so many features and customization options. Once you get comfortable with the system, however, the flexibility and integrations make it well worth the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CounselMore solving and how is that benefiting you?

As the owner of a college counseling practice with multiple counselors and students in different stages of the admissions process, I need everything organized in one place. CounselMore helps us manage college lists, applications, assignments, documents, and communication without constantly switching between platforms.

The Student Portal keeps students engaged and responsible for their progress, while the automation and integrations reduce repetitive administrative tasks.

The biggest benefit is time savings and consistency across our team, allowing us to provide more personalized guidance to families while growing our practice.
