## CorelDRAW Reviews
  ### 1. great product suite with a great range of features/functions for a very low price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthias R. | Software Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I am working with CorelDraw since version 1.1. Since then the product enhanced more and more. The range of functions/features in combination with it´s price (regardless if subscription or payed-once version) compared to Adobe.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

unfortunately there is no Mac OS X version available. So currently Mac users have to run CorelDraw in a virtual machine like VmWare Fusion or any other.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

If you are looking for a lower priced alternative to A... Creative Suite then CorelDraw might be the solution for you. Many designer and illustrator use CorelDraw for their business needs. The subscription price is very low and allows you to use always the current version.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

creating business papers, product flyers, web graphics, illustrations.

  ### 2. Easy-to-use and friendly software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leonardo B. | Sócio / Designer Gráfico, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Tools use facilities. The tools are very intuitive and the result is very professional.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Color management. The effects need to be converted to image before closing the file.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Great tool for drawing brands and vector illustrations.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cheap and easy-to-use tool for professional graphing results. Very fast to create vector shapes.

  ### 3. Wonderful for quick layouts, simple graphics and vector output

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenelle W. | Design and Production Assistant Manager, Graphic Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Multiple pages make it very easy to create similar documents all in one file. It works well with just about any file format. Outputting files for large format printing and vector based machines is very smooth. I also found that if i had trouble opening files in other programs CorelDraw could at least view them.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

This program is not very user friendly when it comes to complex graphics. Some of the quick keys are backwards if you are used to the Adobe Suite.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

When deciding between this program and the Adobe Suite you need to evaluate what you are going to be creating and what files you will be outputting. This can be wonderfully helpful if used in the correct way. If you are only looking for a graphic design program that will assist with more complex designs I would stick to the Adobe Suite.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, I am not using it in my day job. I used to use it every day while working at the CTA. It was critical for system signage layout and design. It is very consistent from one file to the next and made out life very easy when creating multiple signs over one project.

  ### 4. Corel make it easy!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

One of the best features Corel have over other software is the vectorization tools.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Just a few things that I can even remember, maybe the way you change workspace can be easier to switch depending on what you're working on.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Best for your buck!

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vectorization for tshirt printing and vinyl cutting among other text handling capabilities that make corel perfect for the non professional user and on point for the experienced designer. I can do something with 5 clicks rather than 7 or 8 clicks require on similar software.

  ### 5. Useful for running laser cuts/ etches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Songwriter and Recording Artist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

A workspace and user interface that will be immediately familiar to anyone who uses Adobe Illustrator regularly. Files export from AI into Draw relatively easily. Very easy to get it to talk to the Epilog laser cutter.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I have run jobs in the past where it seems as if no lines exist, only to find out that it is attempting to print "invisible" lines. Some lines have printed twice for reasons I cannot figure out.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

If using it to send laser jobs, make sure you have a space that is properly equipped to handle it. Found it difficult to export files from Inkscape into CorelDraw, but someone more experienced may not have issues with it.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we're using Corel Draw to print laser etches and laser cuts on wood, leather, cardboard, plastic, and glass.

  ### 6. Best Software for Graphic Designers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kuntal V. | Senior Software Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

It has the best tools required for creating and editing good graphics such as invitation cards, posters, hoardings, vector arts. And also create page layouts for books and brochures and designing websites.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

As every coin has two sides, along with the benefits that CorelDRAW gives there are certain points that I don't like about it, such as the lack of a photo editor, so you need to use some other software to edit photos and the way it handles images. Also, it is only available for Windows Operating systems so you cannot use it on a MacOS or other Unix based systems.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Must give it a try, and I'm sure once you try it, you will never want to use any other software again for graphic designing. Once you get used to it, there are so many possible ideas and designs you can do with it.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CorelDRAW is really helpful in creating designs for clients. You can create all kinds of designs starting from posters to logo designs, to box and packaging designs and developing websites. It is a one-stop solution for all kinds of graphic design requirements, which makes it a very efficient and must have software if you are in the designing industry.

  ### 7. Best Vector Program I've Ever Used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I used to use Illustrator - but I was introduced to CorelDraw back in 2008 by a friend who works in the sign industry. Since then, I have found CorelDraw to be far more intuitive and user friendly as a vector based program. I also like that it communicated across various platforms, as you can export your project into just about any file format. I now use this program for 95% of all design projects - with Photoshop picking up the 5% slack for it's photo editing capabilities.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I wish CorelDraw was more friendly on Macs. It runs smoothly on PC platforms, but it lags a bit and sometimes freezes up on Macs.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CorelDraw for wire-framing and full design of websites, app prototypes, logos, signs, creating PDFs, and so much more.

  ### 8. Corel draw for professional graphic designer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kerianne O. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The Corel does pretty much everything I used on the Adobe products. A couple of things a little different. A feature or 2 missing here, but also a cool feature here and there added that Adobe didn't have. And the transition wasn't difficult at all. It's got a couple of bugs that aren't hard to get around... but then again so did my CSS.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It is difficult to recommend it over Adobe's Creative Cloud, and for the features on offer Affinity Designer is better value for money. You have to really think about what software you want to spend your time and money working with.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Once you become familiar with this application, CorelDraw Graphics Suite X7 has some powerful offerings, coupled with an easy-to-navigate interface. Consider what kind of designer you are and what product you want to put your money and training into though.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I rarely ever see businesses using corel draw anymore. I really only ever hear of needed skills and expertise in Adobe creative suite.

  ### 9. Easy to use. Good for beginners.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The interface is straight forward. Depending on skill level, the drawn graphics can be of amazing quality. Even at basic level, it's easy to make impressive graphics.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

More for graphic drawing, not photo manipulation. If you do try to do anything with photos, it's going to be more artsy, less photoshop.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Use the free trial before you buy to see if it's right for your specific needs. Seems better for drawing and graphics than manipulating photos.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's fairly easy to use or learn to use so it's helped create good web images for websites and blogs, and you can pay one time for the full download.

  ### 10. Good for everyday use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Quick and easy to create simple vector files for laser cutting/etching, can make logos and the like on the fly.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Doesn't have as good of dimensioning as CAD based programs.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use, easy to learn basic operation

  ### 11. Fantastic, pricey but well worth it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

there is a room to go wild snd unwind your creativity., enormous amout of tools and opttions, powerful graphic applications., great buy for those who works with vectors, 3d graphic, graphic design etc

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It will take time to explore the software because it is not easy but after you get more familiar- life will be easier., also it is pretty pricey but quality cost money

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly was working with graphic design projects

  ### 12. Its ok

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria Angel C. | Gerente Dpto. Diseño Gráfico., Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

It is easy to use, simple and neat, maby tools to use.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It ia not very intuitive and sometimes becones a little bit anowing

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As graphic deaigner I receive from clients sometimes designs in corel format, so I need to use it time to time. Is an popular software in the design area.

  ### 13. Great vector software for a PC user!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LaToya B. | Associate Director of Rec Programming, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDRAW was the first for of software I used when I opened up a t-shirt business and needed to design logos and artwork for clients. Even though I am now accustomed to using Adobe software on a Mac, for those that are still content with using a PC I think they will find this software user friendly and more simplistic. I also found that the tutorials and books that you can find with further instruction are easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The downside to this program is it's compatibility. Even though your work can be saved in EPS format, which can be opened using Adobe Illustrator, you don't find many peers that are familiar with CorelDRAW that can help you when you need it. With that being said, it forced me to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Consider which of your peers use CorelDRAW. I found it easier to use, but found that most folks in the field at my workplace are Adobe software users.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being that all but one of our computers is a PC, Corel Draw is a go to software for many. As funds become available, the office will eventually be stocked with Macs which will in turn cause us to no longer use Corel.

  ### 14. CorelDraw Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDraw is a very easy to use design software for even novice. I started using it 2014 and I use it mostly daily because it is quite easy and good to for great designs.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDraw functionalities is limited to some extend.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a graphics designer, I use CorelDraw mostly daily for great designs like Logo, Brochure and Business Cards.

  ### 15. Since the beginning..

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin W. | President, Printing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

All in one Program. I have used CorelDraw since 1992 version 3. In the beginning there were somethings that I preferred Illustrator on the Mac. But through the years we have continued to grow with CorelDraw. I now own my business and continue to use Corel. I have converted several employees over to Corel, and now when they have to work with illustrator, I hear complaints. Unlike Adobe Illustrator you can do all your design work in the same program, including multi page layout, which in the Adobe Suite you have to use several programs to have the same result.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Upgrades are changing. Upgrades use to be improvements, seems now that upgrade now are people just rearranging elements so you have to look around more. Back in the 90's and early 20's I looked forward to upgrades, now I have to worry about what did they change now.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

I recommend using the online subscription vs buying one version.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It speeds up my designing and saves us disk space. Other programs like InDesign require a separate linked file. Corel embeds the files so that I don't have to keep up with external files. The files are easy to extract if I need them for other jobs.

  ### 16. The Classic Software for the Graphic Designers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan C. | Propietario y Presidente de empresa, Photography, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The precision that gives you for the alignment and adjust of objects. When you use the alignment of objects, these are aligned with the last selected object, wich allows you to easily control their positioning in the created document. Also you have quick keys for align.
For adjust objects in Corel you can move and bring objects closer to others in such a way that they adjust or alternate beetwen them.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It has to many preset effects and sometimes it gets a nuisance rather than a good resource.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Give it a try. Is very easy to handled in comparison with other softwares and gives you a pretty professional work. You can use the online subscription before buy one version.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a very powerfull complement when you work with a photo edition software, it takes you to another level of creativity. I used it as complement for projects in photoshop for the university and i also used it for make the art work for my music projects.

  ### 17. Corel Draw is a more affordable version of Photoshop/Illustrator in one program.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike M. | Planner, Civil Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I really enjoy working in Corel Draw. Its a simple program that can do many of the things that Photoshop/Illustrator do without breaking the bank. Corel Draw takes parts of each program and merges them into one. I love how small of files Corel Draw produces. In comparison to most adobe files, Corel files are significantly smaller and less likely to fail catastrophically when used many many times. I also love how simple Corel Draw is to learn to use. I have spent significant amount of time learning Adobe creative Suite software, and find Corel Draw to be suitable for many of my needs without the learning curve of Adobe Creative suite.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The program isn't as layer friendly as Adobe type products, so it takes some more getting used to, as well as more time to get similar tasks accomplished. I dislike how Corel Draw files don't integrate as well with other computer programs (Indesign-illustrator-photoshop). There can be lots of different parameters that need to be manipulated-changed on the settings in order to maintain/preserve file sizes of PDF's that are created from Corel Draw.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Corel is a good tool to have for graphics-illustrating. Its not as easy or as quick to use as Adobe products, but you also don't have to pay as much for it either.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I create map/topographic renderings of project locations using Corel Draw. I like how quick/easy files pull up/save. Lots of graphic programs have issues with that, I like how Corel Draw has maintained much of that integrity over other computer programs.

  ### 18. Easy to use but heavy to work

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

It is an excellent tool to learn how to design. It is easy to use
and quite intuitive for those of us who are inexperienced. I recently used it after a long time for a project of professional practices in the edition of photographs and fulfilled the objective. The final product complied with the standards requested by the company

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

In spite of being very functional, it is very heavy, it needs a lot of memory, which makes it somewhat slow but even though it fulfills the objectives.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

This tool is one of the best to learn the art of designing although there are other software with much superior features in the market. This is very easy to use and it does not require an expert level to use it.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently studying advertising and using the tool in my professional practices and I was allowed to develop part of the project entrusted by the company. it was very useful

  ### 19. CorelDRAW for prototyping

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDRAW is great for prototyping parts and builds for my projects.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It took me awhile to understand how to use it, and certain buttons are difficult to find. I used google and youtube to solve these problems though.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

I recommend others to use it for prototyping as well. It is cheaper than using a 3D printer for some tasks and builds as well.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At my work, I work with illumination systems, making chambers for cells, and other miscellaneous tasks. CorelDRAW is amazing for laser cutting.

  ### 20. I have been using corel draw for the past 3+ years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin C. | Graphic Designer, Sporting Goods, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I like the simplicity of the program. It is a much more simplified version of adobe illustrator. Much easier to use for simple projects.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I dislike that there isn't a ton of photo editing options, lens's are the only resource I've been able to use to really edit the appearance of something and it feels limited.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

I think it depends on what your needs are, I wouldn't use it for a go to high quality large vector image. Especially not if I wanted to add filters and do a ton of editing.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this as a go to for templates and exporting to our website, it seems to fill the need of both exporting for the web as well as a standard program to use to compile images without making images too large.

  ### 21. Suitable for Professional Graphic Designer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDraw is a complete package for every Graphic designer with combination of tool that allows to to modify and design things you can do in any other software. Once you get use to all the tools and know what you are designing CorelDraw can make your job easy to implement it. Perfect tool for Vector Graphics

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Not user friendly as Photoshop. Not a best tool for photo editing. The stronger this tool is for Graphic design, Weaker it is for photo editing. Also updating issues with this software.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

You really need patience to use this software as a graphic designer. Also you thought about what you are trying to achieve with it should be clear. Once your direction is clear this software is amazing for Graphics.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

for me i am using this software to make graphic for web design and also for Automotive industry poster. It really allows me to go beyond imagination and create graphics in easy manner.

  ### 22. CorelDRAW in Envinronmental Consulting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukas F. | Senior Hydrogeologist in Ridgeline Environment, Environmental Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Easy to use in comparison with full CAD programs. Reasonable price.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

There is nothing to dislike, price is OK, team is listening users.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Better support for georeferenced bitmaps.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick proposals for delineation - borehole/monitoring well maps, sketches, field notes.
Benefits - easy to use, reasonable price, quick learning curve.

  ### 23. Most Affordable and Capable Design Software Available

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric H. | Leads Coordinator/Sales, Printing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The ease of use and features with Corel are excellent. With CorelDraw you can create exactly what you need or want. Creating professional graphics is fast and easy, there is no comparison to Adobe Illustrator in terms of ease of use, Corel is by far the easier to learn software.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The only thing not to like about CorelDraw is slow start-up speed at times(probably due to my computer being lower powered) and small glitches that leave a single colored square on your art board in your way or off to the side(I believe this has been addressed with the latest update). Updating CorelDraw sometimes means plug-ins that you have installed will break, which is inconvenient.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

If you are looking for advanced design software that is quick and easy to learn there is no alternative. CorelDraw imports virtually all graphics file formats(including Adobe), exports as virtually any graphics file format, allows for any color imaginable as CMYK, RGB, etc., has extremely useful snap-to features that snap-to objects, guidelines, art board, etc., and a fast and easy user interface. If you are starting a business that involves screen printing or vinyl graphics CorelDraw is an excellent choice and will do everything you need it to do.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CorelDraw allows our screen printing and embroidery business to quickly create, recreate, or design exactly what our customers want or need. There is no other software as versatile and easy to use. We create simple vector designs for use with our vinyl cutter and intricate and highly detailed designs for screen printing. CorelDraw allows for easy screen printing separation printing.

  ### 24. A complete program.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rocelin C. | Asistente contable, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

In addition, the platform is complete enough, allows the realization of projects in 3 dimensions, architectural tours, high quality graphics and versatility for the choice of tools to use. Multiple functions for editing pictures and photos.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It has a large size, so it occupies a considerable space on the pc. It is somewhat complicated to adapt to the software.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Panel of simpler but complete tools, easy to understand.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design of three-dimensional views in architectural projects, quality of images, speed to carry out the works.

  ### 25. A great alternative to Photoshop.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Great options and variety for beginners. CorelDRAW is a great and alternate program to Photoshop. If you have never tried Photoshop before, I would highly recommend starting off with CorelDRAW before moving to something more complex. I love it's ability to change a drawing or picture by just a few clicks. I can even change the color tone or convert a sketch to straight sharp lines.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I think the interface could be a little nicer looking. Maybe something that is more attractive to the eyes and easier to follow. I like how Microsoft has bigger icons and the icons are grouped.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

The variety of icons and the ability to use for every project you can think of, is simply amazing. CorelDRAW is really a great program for what it is made to do. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering purchasing it - you won't be disappointed.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CorelDRAW is a great way to make more changes and have more options than Microsoft PowerPoint. Sometimes you just want a drawing or picture or even your own sketch to come to live for a nice looking presentation or report - this is where CorelDRAW can help you in just a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

In the configuration and options menus, it is sometimes difficult to find the option you are looking for.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John B. | Color Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I love that it can go from vectors and graphic design straight to fine art and traditional art media feel. I can work both as a graphic designer and an artist with the same program. Each project I learn something new and deepen my skills.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

In all honesty the only thing i dislike is that when you close the program there are always ads about updating the software. Since the program is done via subscription, there is always ad-ons and updates that are available and easily downloaded... but i don't want to see it EVERY time i close out of the program.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Nothing really. It takes time to learn the software but there are plenty of tutorials that Corel and other users have.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, since I work for a graphic designer, the only business problems that it solves is everything! This is the graphic design program that we use for our daily projects!

  ### 28. Corel Draw

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew O. | Sign Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Corel is best known for its speed versus its competitor, Adobe Illustrator. Foer every single step command in Corel takes two to three steps in Illustrator. Corel is also superior in importing and exporting into many other graphic formats. It has superb accuracy up to four decimal places, and has excellent dimensioning tools.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The only thing I would add to Corel would be an arc measurement tool.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Great for artwork and technical design

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Corel has proven to me to be the best program for rendering commercial sign drawings, both presentation art and technical drawings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDRAW is compatible with a variety of formats, the program offers unparalleled color accuracy and flexibility, also comes with an very intuitive LiveSketch tool, and allows to customize the workspace with our favorite tools, custom desktop and icon size.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDraw uses a lot of ressources of your PC so you need a very powerful processor, Corel Draw is Windows only software, and it's as a little bit expensive.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to CorelDraw I have started to use graphic design software, i have created illustrations and images from the scratch with the help of the software tutorials

  ### 31. CorelDRAW est mon logiciel préféré pour créer n'importe quel dessin ou design. C'est fantastique.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I like every feature of CorelDraw like line curve, Powerclip, Alignment, Shadow effects everything.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

There is no suitable option for Table. If you want to create a table with data, you face lots of problems. I request the CorelDRAW team to provide a better table option in it.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Please try to create any design in an easy way. CorelDRAW is the best option.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Banner, Hoarding, Poster, Cover Design, Logo etc.

  ### 32. Versatile and powerful software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raqual V. | Owner and Head Designer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

In terms of vector creation and editing, if a client gives me any brief I am able to accomplish it in Corel Draw. This has been my software of choice since my college days 14 years ago and I have seen it evolve and grow with my skill set. Corel does not get enough credit from the design community as it should. Their recent additional features such as Corel Capture and Font Manager has upped their game even more and saves me loads of time

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Although most of the time it can easily work on Illustrator files, sometimes features like gradients do not import correctly.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Although the Adobe suite is most talked about, give Corel Draw an honest try. You will find it to be the most powerful vector editing software on the market today.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its versatility with working and exporting to multiple file types, together with working on vector and raster files in the same design allows me to use it for basically any project.

  ### 33. An illustrator's experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey S. | Assistant Gallery Curator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I like that CorelDraw is more economically feasible for smaller firms and individuals than its biggest competitor, Adobe Illustrator. I am really impressed with CorelDraw 8 supports ultra HD 4k monitors.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Because Adobe Illustrator is essentially the industry standard, sending cdr files isn't recommended. As such making sure to properly save your files in a readable format is more a priority than with Illustrator. However, this is no majour point against the program. More so just singing to keep on mind.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the need for graphics and illustrations for client needs and increasing portfolio size. As well as the cost effectiveness of the program. However, it is not quite as cheap as Xara Xtreme, it is still reasonably priced for what you get.

  ### 34. powerful graphic design and editing tool

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno A. | ICT Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Good user interface.
Has numerous functionalities of design..

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Quite slow during installation.
Might be vulnerable to malware if not updated.
Some design tools require skills to use them.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

If you want to design and also edit this is the software for you.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Graphic design solutions for projects and also companies.

  ### 35. An easy to understand and use graphic suite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William P. | Customer Relations Manager, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

It's simple and easy to understand. Corel makes several products that are easy to understand use, its perfect for the person who is just starting or the person who is an experience designer.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

There's not much that I don't like about CorelDraw. I would have to say that when editions change sometimes the software is harder to navigate, but for the most part, it works great.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Corel Draw gives you everything and its a top notch software. It's easy to learn and you'll be able to get started quickly.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to have software that can scale without taking our entire budget.

  ### 36. Professional graphics processor

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna S. | Руководитель проекта, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The main function of CorelDRAW is the production of beautiful posters, advertisements, calendars, business cards and leaflets.

The application will take from 150 to 300 MB of memory on the hard disk. The number depends on the version of the program.

CorelDRAW has 125 brushes, 300 various backgrounds, a huge set of fonts, etc.

The program saves the files in the .cdr format, and the graphic images are in the .cmx format.

A big plus of the program is the installation for different operating systems: Windows, MAC, OS / 2, Unix and Lunix. There is an official version in Russian. CorelDRAW perfectly reproduces the Cyrillic alphabet, does not even try to replace some letters with squares.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

Disadvantages of the vector editor: it is very difficult to convert raster graphics into vector graphics. Although ... it is possible, but the image will not be quite clear (if black and white). And it's unrealistic - if it's colored.

You can not quickly and easily apply an extensive collection of effects, which are used in working with raster graphics.

The windows of the program are strongly overloaded with all sorts of options and buttons. Maybe it's good, because it has the maximum functionality of the application, but not very good, because the windows from the overabundance of all buttons are a bit like the dashboard of helicopters.

In different versions of CorelDRAW there are significant errors of the creators.

In CorelDRAW there are no tools for business graphics, enabling you to easily and quickly create charts and graphs.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Former users of Creative Suite can recreate the settings in the workspace Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator - this will facilitate the transition to CorelDRAW.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Periodically, there is a need to process a graphic image. Such tasks are set as professional designers in the field of advertising and printing (who spend a lot of time creating and editing graphics, working with text, correcting photos), and business users, sometimes creating advertising and printed materials, without resorting to the services of the first , to save a little.

  ### 37. Not the best option right now

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sir Einstein G. | Director General, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The best feature that presents Corel Draw is the power clip and the artistic media tool which is GREAT... it's way easy to use so new and unexperienced graphic design students or enthusiasts can work with vector files and create illustrations without much knowledge. I use it for real simple tasks.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It can't be used on Mac computers, unless you have "Windows Parallels" or re-start your mac with Windows via bootcamp. It also creates very big files, and has no good integration with Adobe programs, so files exported to adobe illustrator aren't really editable. That's a pain every time I need to use it because I really don't like re-starting my computer on bootcamp, and it's difficult to work with other colleagues that only use OS X.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

If you are a graphic designer that want to handle the best and state of the art vector designing program, I would really recommend to switch to Adobe Illustrator so you can get a fully up-to-date program via monthly subscription, work on a powerful mac computer and produce high quality vector files. Keep Corel if you're a beginner and already familiar with it and don't intend to work graphics professionally, or getting a mac computer ever. I don't say that Corel Draw does not work, it works, but it's only not a professional tool. Great for beginners and simple tasks.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logo creation, general graphic vector design, simple flyer and posters design, t-shirt graphic design.

  ### 38. Expert CorelDraw user

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Entering the design field 25+ years ago, I had the opportunity to to demo a beta of a program call CorelDraw. The year was 1988 and the version was 1.0. Fast forward 29 years and I am still using CorelDraw for everything from creating logos, to doing page layout, from picture editing to web design - and everything in between! While Adobe may own the market, Corel Corporation had developed a suite of products that rival (and in most cases, surpass) Adobe. Imports and Exports to many different formats! While I still own the Adobe suite, I keep it only for compatibility sake, doing all of my creating in Corel!

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I don't like the fact that CorelDraw is treated like a step-child in the industry. Some shops and print houses prefer not to support Corel's products. They don't know what they are missing - especially my business.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Take a very hard look at Corel. It is a very powerful program!

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a Graphic Designer, U use CorelDraw almost exclusively. I used to hate designing web pages. With the new CorelDraw, I actually enjoy this again! By "growing up" with CorelDraw, I have been able to make my designs shine! At more than 1/2 the cost of similar Adobe products!! I am a Corel user for life!!

  ### 39. CoralDraw

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeannette H. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

CoralDraw has an awesome assortment of brushes and tools to choose from straight of the bat and can open and export many formats.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

CoralDraw is not that great when it comes to typography or vectors for my liking. I felt the edges were jagged or blurry when saved in some formats.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

COralDraw is very nice when it comes to some applications, there are cheaper programs available. Make sure that you pay attention to the finer details when making typographical or vector based projects as they may seem blurred or jagged when exported or saved in some formats.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoralDraw did not solve any business problems for me. I felt that sticking with Adobe was better in the long run and would not benefit from transitioning to CoralDraw.

  ### 40. Still Learning, But Great Program

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer L. | Author, Medical Devices, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I love that I can save my image as any file extension that I need for a project I'm working on. I use it for cover design, teasers, and interior book design (chapter headers and scene dividers). I also love that I was able to hand draw my author branding logo. I was able to hand draw the swooping JL on my logo and it looks amazing! This program has so many settings and features that I haven't even touched on everything there is. I'm constantly looking at YouTube videos to see what else I can create with this program. I also love that I can outright buy the program instead of having to have a monthly subscription like Adobe Photoshop.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I previously worked with a program called Photo Impact Pro. I love that I can pick the size of the file before I start and that it only saves what's inside those perimeters. CorelDraw isn't like that. I have to make sure I select all of the objects and cut the dimensions I need for it to save, but it's a easy fix, so it doesn't impact me too much. It's just a matter of me learning the little things that were easy in my old program and figuring out how to do the same thing in CorelDraw. I'm slowly learning, but so far, so good!

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

If you've never used a program like this, there is going to be a huge learning curve. Sometimes when I search YouTube for video tutorials, I'm not even sure what verbiage to use to get the video I need, but if you're willing to take the time to learn as you go, then this is a great program. My husband's work bought this program as well and he had no previous experience with a program like this. He is doing just as well as me. So it's possible to have no experience and still get great results.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to have better quality, large file sized graphics that I can use for advertising my books, brightening up the interior of said books, and making great teasers! I love that I can also open adobe file graphics with this and it lets me open it as "curves" and I can manipulate it how I want.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I like that CorelDraw really gets the job done. It's easy to figure out and not a ton of frills. Much simpler than Illustrator.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I ended up growing out of CorelDraw. I required more of the features that Adobe Illustrator had to offer. Also, CorelDraw doesn't integrate as easily with Photoshop as Illustrator does and I use Photoshop a lot now.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

CorelDraw will get you started but you may eventually want to upgrade to Illustrator depending on your use.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CorelDraw was a great stepping stone into bigger programs like Illustrator.

  ### 47. Corel Draw The Perfect Stroke

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2017

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I have been using Corel draw since my graduation. We have used it for a number of purposes including designing our campaigns, students portfolios, final year projects and then in the professional job for publishing annual reports and other dashboards. Corel draw contains all the superb features that you need to get the job done.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

With the passage of time it has gotten a little complicated to switch from the older versions to the newer versions. However, once you get the hang o fit you really start to appreciate the true potential of this tool. Plus it has gotten a little heavier with the new versions therefore it requires a tech savy high tech machine to run it.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Corporate collaborations with big organizations so that more and more people can know about this product and understand the true potential of this tool.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Annual reports, monthly dashboards, project portfolios, project progress bulletins. We have been using this tool extensively to publish a number of networks NE based reports such as network connectivity diagrams, NE interfacing diagrams and much more.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The program is great for creating impressive and complex designs. I haven’t used it for a longer time so I cannot compared with today’s version, but superficial comparison shows that Adobe’s illustrator is superior.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The program seems to be outdated and topped by Illustrator. I used it in. The 2000s when some people already were focused on the illustrator.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualizing future repairs and replacement pieces as well as pre-anticipating aesthetic retouching
