"Convene Keeps Campaign Approvals and Decisions Organized in One Place"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Convene?

For me, the most interesting use case for Convene is keeping the behind-the-scenes decision-making process for social media campaigns organized. In social media management, it’s not just about creating content, often, a campaign requires multiple approvals from marketing, leadership, and compliance teams.

In such scenarios, Convene’s structured meeting environment proves highly valuable. For instance, if last-minute changes are made to the messaging for a major product launch, it becomes much easier to organize all relevant documents, discussion points, and decisions in one centralized space.

I find its document management, agenda creation, and approval-oriented workflow particularly useful. This ensures that important discussions aren't confined to email threads, and it makes it easier to maintain a proper record of decisions for future reference. What do you dislike about Convene?

Introducing Convene into the workflows of fast-paced social media teams could present some initial adoption challenges. In social media campaigns, decisions often need to be made within hours, and it is not always practical to structure every discussion as a formal meeting.

Another improvement would be to make campaign-related approval workflows more flexible. For instance, lightweight workflows would be highly beneficial for tasks like approving short-form content, making urgent brand communication decisions, or implementing time-sensitive changes to campaigns.

Furthermore, deeper integrations with existing marketing project management and communication tools would reduce the need for teams to constantly switch between different platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
