What do you like best about Contentful?

I love how customizable Contentful is. And it is SO easy to use! Seriously it is the most user-friendly CMS I have ever used. The options are endless when setting up modules and designing the site to be exactly how you want it to be. Contentful allows me to create any webpage I want. There are tons of ways to build each type of webpage. The great thing is that even if you're going to develop two different types of pages, you can reuse modules between pages, which cuts down on a lot of time needed to work on them! What do you dislike about Contentful?

A lot of the customization needs to be built by your dev team. This is not a platform like Magento where a lot of customization comes out of the box. Even things like font sizes have to be built out by the dev team. This is entirely understandable, but it does mean that your team will have to build in longer lead times when considering new web pages or features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Contentful:

I would recommend that others make a list of their goals and challenges with their current CMS platform. I think it would be helpful to see a few case studies of companies that have used Contentful. What problems is Contentful solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solving the problem of needing an easy to use CMS that can be used every day for general website maintenance. The biggest benefit is definitely that it is so user friendly so it is easy to teach it to new employees. It is very quick and simple to update content that immediately changes on the site.
