It unifies every contract and team in one system, centralizing data and embedding automation and AI-driven insights for smarter decisions. Built for industries like Healthcare and Life Sciences, Technology, Financial Services, and Manufacturing, Conga CLM meets organizations where they are and scales as needs grow. The platform automates intake, review, approval, and signature workflows, enables self-service contracting, and provides a secure, searchable repository with real-time dashboards and analytics. AI validates clauses, scores risk, and tracks obligations, while integrations with CRM, ERP, and procurement systems eliminate silos. Conga delivers responsible AI paired with human oversight for accuracy and compliance, creating one connected workflow across the revenue lifecycle to reduce manual work and accelerate business outcomes. Conga CLM delivers on the promise of One CLM. Every team. Every contract. It unifies Legal, Procurement, and Sales in a single platform, eliminating silos and creating one connected workflow across the revenue lifecycle. Every contract is centralized in a secure, searchable repository, turning static documents into structured data for real-time visibility, dashboards, and analytics. Conga CLM accelerates execution with automated intake, review, approval, and signature workflows, while enabling self-service contracting to reduce legal bottlenecks. AI validates clauses, scores risk, and tracks obligations to enforce compliance and reduce audit exposure. Seamless integration with CRM, ERP, and procurement systems ensures consistency and speed across the business. With responsible AI, intuitive design, and enterprise-grade scalability, Conga CLM empowers organizations to manage complex contract processes confidently and adapt as needs evolve. The CLM market is highly fragmented. Sell-side specialists excel at revenue contracting but lack procurement depth. Buy-side vendors focus on supplier agreements but fall short on full lifecycle management. Enterprise generalists try to cover both but struggle with poor integrations and fragmented data models. Procurement suites offer only basic, bundled CLM capabilities with limited automation. Conga CLM is built to do what none of these do alone: support Legal, Procurement, and Sales in a single, unified platform — across both buy-side and sell-side contracts. Conga CLM is flexible enough to support any team, scalable from a simple repository to enterprise-wide automation, and extensible through API-first integrations with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, and Ariba. With 10+ years of implementation expertise and responsible AI built in at every tier, Conga CLM is the platform that grows with your business.

## Conga CLM Reviews
  ### 1. Conga CLM: Simplifying Contract Creation, Execution, and Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankita K. | PACKAGE CONSULTANT-SALESFORCE, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

Here are a few **newer (or increasingly noticeable) things about Conga CLM that I like**, especially compared to how CLM tools used to feel:

* **Improved contract authoring experience**
The clause library and template management feel more structured and reusable, making it easier to standardize language while still allowing flexibility where needed.

* **Better automation across the contract lifecycle**
More steps—request intake, approvals, versioning, and execution—can now be automated end to end, reducing manual handoffs and email-driven processes.

* **Stronger Salesforce alignment**
The tighter integration with Salesforce objects (Accounts, Opportunities, custom objects) makes contracts more contextual and easier to track alongside deals.

* **Enhanced visibility and reporting**
Contract status, bottlenecks, and key milestones (like expirations and renewals) are easier to surface, which helps with proactive contract management.

* **Clause and obligation control**
The ability to manage fallback clauses, conditional language, and obligations improves compliance and reduces legal risk.

* **Scalability beyond legal teams**
CLM is increasingly usable by sales, procurement, and operations—not just legal—without sacrificing governance.

Overall, what I like most is that Conga CLM is moving from being just a **contract repository** to a more complete **contract lifecycle platform** that supports speed, compliance, and visibility at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

Yes—while **Conga CLM** is solid, there are a few areas where it can improve to make the experience even better:

**• Usability & user experience**
Some screens and workflows can feel clunky or unintuitive, especially for non-legal users. Improved UI and clearer navigation would help adoption across teams.

**• Onboarding & training**
Given its capabilities, better in-product guidance, tutorials, and contextual help could reduce the learning curve for admins and business users.

**• Workflow flexibility**
More dynamic and easily configurable workflows (without heavy admin support) would let teams tailor approval and review paths faster.

**• Reporting & dashboards**
While contract reporting exists, richer, more customizable dashboards and analytics—in line with modern BI experiences—would help teams spot trends and risks faster.

**• Template & clause management**
Even though libraries exist, more intelligent suggestion tools or easier reuse/search features would help authors find the right language quickly.

**• Performance at scale**
For very high volumes of contracts or large orgs, performance can lag—optimizations here would help speed up contract creation and search.

**• Integration ecosystem**
Expanding prebuilt integrations with more third-party systems (eSignature alternatives, CLM data in BI tools, ERP/finance) could reduce the need for custom builds.

In short, Conga CLM could improve by becoming **more intuitive, easier to customize, and more performance-optimized**—especially for users outside legal who interact with contracts daily.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CLM automates the creation of contracts by using pre-approved templates, clauses, and terms, which are consistent across all contracts. It provides real-time visibility into the contract lifecycle, allowing users to track the status of each contract, identify overdue approvals, and monitor contract performance. Conga CLM automates and streamlines the approval process by setting up customizable workflows and notifications to ensure that contracts are reviewed and approved quickly by the appropriate stakeholders

**Official Response from Haley Roussell:**

> It's great to hear that Conga CLM is automating the creation of contracts and providing real-time visibility into the contract lifecycle, ultimately streamlining the approval process for you. ### 2. Streamlines Contract Management, But Setup Can Be Challenging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhagirath P. | Salesforce Team Lead, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

What I like best about Conga CLM is its ability to streamline the entire contract lifecycle — from creation to negotiation, approval, and e-signature — all in one place. The automation of workflows, clause library, and seamless Salesforce integration make contract management much faster and more accurate. It’s user-friendly, reduces manual errors, and provides complete visibility into contract status and compliance tracking

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

What I dislike about Conga CLM is that the initial setup and configuration can be quite complex, especially for new users. Customization often requires technical expertise, and the learning curve can be steep at first. Additionally, large document processing can sometimes slow down performance. However, once it’s properly configured, the platform works very efficiently

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CLM is solving the problem of manual and time-consuming contract management. It automates contract creation, approval workflows, and tracking, which helps reduce human errors and speeds up the entire process. The integration with Salesforce ensures all contract data stays accurate and easily accessible. This has improved collaboration between teams, increased compliance, and provided better visibility into contract performance and renewals

  ### 3. Streamlined Contract Management with Conga CLM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

I appreciate Conga CLM because it helps us in creating contracts with good version control and ease of use. I like the version control and standardized language in the system as it enhances my experience by simplifying drafting and redlining the contracts. It ensures that our multiple person processes don’t confuse the group when using multiple versions of the contracts and ensures all of us use the same language.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

The creation of templates and contract forms is obscure and requires too much hand coding in difficult ways. I would like the various systems to be linked better, so I can use menus instead of typing in information stored elsewhere.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Conga CLM for contract drafting and maintenance, which assists us by offering good version control and ease of use, ensuring consistency across teams.

**Official Response from Kristina Tauber:**

> We appreciate your positive feedback about the contract tracking and template creation features. We apologize for any frustration you experienced during the setup process. Your input is valuable, and we will use it to enhance the user experience. Please consider joining our Conga Customer Community for additional support and resources: https://bit.ly/3JWuPCl

  ### 4. Versatile Document Generation Options for Every Scenario

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chintan S. | Salesforce Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

The amount of options that Conga CLM provides for generating and sending documents is what I like, as for different scenarios, you can use different processes.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

With large documents, Conga CLM sometimes becomes slow, and that frustrates us as we require quick generation and processing of documents for our business.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CLM solves major contract-management challenges like slow manual drafting, scattered files, inconsistent terms, risky version control, and lack of visibility across contract stages. It centralizes all contracts, templates, and clause libraries in one system, automates workflows for drafting-to-signature, and integrates deeply with platforms like Salesforce to eliminate manual data entry. As a result, users benefit from faster deal cycles, fewer legal risks, better compliance, improved collaboration between sales, legal, and procurement, and full visibility into contract status, obligations, and renewals—ultimately improving revenue speed and operational efficiency.

  ### 5. Fast Sync and Powerful AI, But Integration Setup Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vinit s. | Senior Technical Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

The synchronization of documents from Conga Platform to CLM is super fast and that is the reason we are utilizing its AI features. It supports two-way sync from Platform to CLM and from CLM to Platform which is great, as we can create a sync from either side and get the required data.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

The integration between CLM and Platform is not smooth, as we are facing multiple issues related to document and data synchronization. The documentation does not have enough details on how to perform this configuration, requiring us to reach out to Conga Support every time we need to refresh an environment and reconfigure it again.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CLM is a great product, and now Conga has its own CLM on the Conga Platform where AI capabilities have been added. From Salesforce, the document goes to the platform and is processed via AI to fetch the required fields and important clauses, and then it moves back to Salesforce. The AI capabilities are limited, but at least they are available.

  ### 6. Conga CLM - revolutionary solution for contract management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

  ### 7. Conga CLM: Revolutionizing Contract Lifecycle Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pathan Imroz S. | DocuSign Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

Conga CLM stands out for its strong contract automation functionalities, specially in streamlining approvals and ensuring compliance throughout the contract lifecycly.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

Conga CLM can improve its reporting functionality and make it more advanced and customizable.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CLM solves multiple critical contract management challenges, which provides benefits like;
1. Manual & efficient Process
2.Lack of Visibility
3.Risk Management
4.Collaboration Challenges
5.Integration issues
It streamlines the workflows, ensures compliance, & integrates with important businesssystems.

**Official Response from Haley Roussell:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. ### 8. Seamless Salesforce Integration and Powerful Contract Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amey G. | Salesforce Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

The native integration with Salesforce is far and away the best feature. Being able to trigger a complex contract directly from an Opportunity record without flipping between browser tabs is a massive time-saver. I also highly value the X-Author for Word add-in; it allows our Legal team to stay in Microsoft Word for redlining while ensuring all those changes sync back to the Salesforce 'Source of Truth' automatically. The recent updates to the AI-driven Contract Intelligence (CCI) have also made third-party paper review significantly faster by highlighting high-risk clauses instantly

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

The initial implementation and configuration are undeniably complex. It is not a 'plug-and-play' solution and usually requires a dedicated consultant or a very advanced Salesforce Admin to set up the initial templates and logic. The UI can also feel a bit cluttered and 'legacy' in certain administrative areas compared to some of the newer, lightweight CLM startups. Additionally, we've noticed that very large document packages can sometimes cause performance lag during the generation and sync process

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Conga, our contract process was a mess of version-control issues and 'email ping-pong' between Sales and Legal. Conga CLM has centralized our repository, meaning anyone with the right permissions can see exactly where a contract sits in the approval pipeline. It has solved the problem of manual data entry errors by pulling data directly from Salesforce fields into templates. The biggest benefit has been the reduction in cycle time; we’ve cut our average contract turnaround from two weeks to just a few days, which directly accelerates our time-to-revenue.

  ### 9. Fast Document Generation, But Template Management Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rushabh S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

We like Conga CLM’s Template Versioning functionality where we are able to manage separate versions of the same template while also allowing us to choose which version we need to utilize during document generation. Document Generation process is also super fast.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

For Conga CLM, to manage templates we use X-Author for Contracts tool, which is very slow and makes the task of creating these templates very tedious and complex. Many formatting issues occur due to the X-Author not being able to handle formatting properly.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our document generation was very slow but now with the help of Conga CLM we are able to generate several documents within a very short period of time. Versioning feature of CLM helps us to maintain several versions of same template allowing us to select a specific version for specific scenario.

  ### 10. Streamlined E-Signature, Room for Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin P. | Director - PMO, Salesforce and Performance Consulting BUs, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Conga CLM?**

I find Conga CLM makes it much easier and faster to formalize our sales process and close deals. It's very easy to generate SOWs and MSAs and then route them for signature. I definitely value the e-signature routing feature because it makes it very easy to capture signatures quickly. The initial setup was fairly easy since it can be installed as an AppExchange app right within Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

While routing for e-signature is easy, it requires a lot of manual steps to setup a document for signature. I wish there was more AI-injected into the process to suggest the signers and pull in the required information automatically instead of manually.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Conga CLM to create SOWs and MSAs and initiate e-signature requests, which makes it faster to formalize our sales process and close deals.
