I appreciate that Commvault Cloud is easy to administer and use, and fast. It allows me to make reduced-size backups and then optimize these sizes to reduce cloud costs. I also appreciate the integrated aggregation and reduction technologies: object-type backups can reuse already recorded blocks, which reduces future backups, multiple backups, and space used. I can use different storage levels at different prices, create policies tailored to specific needs, and keep backups for over 10 years. I have no particular complaints about Commvault Cloud. However, I would like it to continue improving native support for storage arrays, rather than working at the VM level, as well as the speed of backups without hindering the use of VMs and the applications they host.
