It makes it so easy to have my analytics and scheduling through the same app. **What do you dislike about Combin?** I love using Combin. The only thing I dislike is that the scheduler is different from the previous app I used, and it is taking some time for me to learn the new interface. **What problems is Combin solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Combin to increase visibility and consistency of my organization's Instagram page. I especially like how easy it is to schedule posts for the future -some posts I can plan out a year or more in advance. ### 2. I doubt this to be a coincidence. It is not at the level of some other bots. Instagram reacts almost instantly to a simple search, searches take a long time, my account was blocked on the first use, you cannot use the bot for 48 hours, as soon as I want to close the application it bugs and does not close, I am forced to force quit it and now I can no longer send a simple message on my personal account. This is not a quality service and it absolutely needs to be reported to the developers to fix these issues. **What problems is Combin solving and how is that benefiting you?** none ### 6. I can safely say it's a scam The app will perform 10 actions on SAFE mode and then it gets blocked until you re-login, erase all your work and start again, when you do all your work again it preforms 10 likes and then it's blocked again I've had MUCH better results just using a some JavaScript I downloaded from stack overflow I've contacted support some 8 times, and it's just a bot. that keeps copy-pasting the FAQ on you... **What problems is Combin solving and how is that benefiting you?** it created more problems than i had before ### 7. Just being able to see posts in a grid rather than scrolling is a great time saver. Pricing is very affordable, which can be a pro or a con. Based on the other participants in web training it was commonly used by personal accounts or spam-like users. **What do you dislike about Combin?** Instagram has gotten smart to this automation and is quick to block access. Unfortunately negating a lot of what Combin has promised, even when operating conservatively. Our account has repeatedly been put on short term bans and one that lasted for weeks. There is not a lot of support for knowing what to do when something like this happens and a lot of trial and error is needed. Instagram is very vague about why and how to unlock accounts, even though I understand the folks and Combin cannot know what goes on behind the curtain of IG, they should be familiar enough to provide some assistance to protect users, including keeping users from spamming. **Recommendations to others considering Combin:** Good option for account maintenance, but it doesn't help much for growth. **What problems is Combin solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Instagram changed their algorithm, using Combin allowed a very simple system to find and follow profiles of like interests, allowing for accelerated growth. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case and this service is now mostly helpful for maintaining engagement. ### 8. Combin is hit or miss - Free Version **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Amy O. | Co-Founder/Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2019 **What do you like best about Combin?** The automation is great. you can search geography, hashtags, users, etc. On the free version, you can use it to auto-like or comment on up to 50 posts in different searches. I do not have experience with the paid version but you are allowed to refresh your searches and search for more results. I like the auto commenting because you can load in different comments to be used, rather than repeating the same one over and over. Just be careful with auto commenting, you never know if a comment will land on a picture that doesn't make sense or feels inappropriate. The starter pack offers a lot to users. By choosing not to pay for the service, you do miss out on some basic conveniences like having multiple accounts logged in, getting more search results, refreshes searches, rather than having to search them all over again for new posts. Combin also limits the number of likes and comments in a time span to stop your accounts from being banned for too much engagement. **What do you dislike about Combin?** Instagram is constantly updating its terms on what third-party apps can and cannot do. Auto-liking and commenting is usually the first thing to be shut down. This is not the fault of Combin. Just using the product has caused some security concerns from Instagram so it will log me out or make me change my password. Again, not the fault of Combin but it is a downside. I would like to have the ability to log in to multiple accounts on the free version. logging in and out is a hassle. But I understand that the price I pay for being on the trial package. I would also like the free version to have the ability to at least do a trial with the new scheduling aspect. I wouldn't pay for something that I cant try but if I can automate and schedule in the same program, that would be a bonus. **Recommendations to others considering Combin:** Give it a go. You might like it enough to upgrade to a paid plan but be careful with Instagram's rules. You may get banned. **What problems is Combin solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to automate my engagement. It makes it seem like my brands are reaching out to my audience without me physically going into all of them to like posts and comment and do searches. It is a real time-saver in the social media business. Our engagement is up because our followers reply to our comments and are all-around more active on our accounts because they see their actions are being reciprocated. It's great for social media marketers that are still considered small businesses. Its agency-type software at an affordable price. ### 9. Also you need to decide if you want either 1 or 3 paid accounts - you cannot have 1 paid and 1 unpaid account yet or 2 paid accounts! **Recommendations to others considering Combin:** If you are business owner and need to manage your Instagram I am sure you'll be able to manage it by your self easily using Combin. Other services often include advertisements and relatively low numbers in terms of what's allowed in their free versions. What's most important to me about this service is the autopilot nature of combin as it sorts out algorithms in the background and while you are away from the computer. I believe that the most favorable aspect of this program is the search by location and hashtag feature that produce members for interactivity within your target demographic. **What do you dislike about Combin?** I honestly dislike nothing other than the limit you must take on as a free user. I can't complain otherwise about the utilization of this software. **Recommendations to others considering Combin:** Use this daily to exhaust the refreshing limits you're provided. **What problems is Combin solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving the ambiguous task of building and interacting with followers outside of our general referral channels.
