"Cohesity Replaces Tapes and NAS"

5/5

What do you like best about Cohesity?

The ability to get rid of traditional tape media backups via archaic terrible software. Our backup window has gotten significantly shorter and we have confidence that we can restore files or full VMs back into our environment. We are in the process of replacing legacy NAS devices with Cohesity storage and the process has been very simple. Support has been good when we have needed them for small config issues or questions on best practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cohesity?

Some features like AD backups were in 6.3 literature, but aren't actually released until 6.4 That said, it we were able to run this in beta. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Cohesity:

We looked at Rubrik and StorageCraft. Rubrik was more expensive with less features. StorageCraft was a good value play, but didn't have the breadth or market support that Cohesity has. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cohesity solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're done with tape. We're done with our legacy NAS devices and we have a clear path forward when we are ready to start sending some of our data to the cloud for long term archiving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
