Coderbyte makes technical assessments easy to set up, track and review. The UI is straightforward, and the dashboard gives me candidate scores, start and completion dates, number of attempts and assessment links without too many clicks. Notifications when candidates submit assessments are also useful.

Performance has been reliable in my regular use, and the overall workflow saves time compared to handling technical screening manually. The available integrations also fit well into the hiring process. Onboarding is simple and doesn't require much time to understand the platform.

From an ROI perspective, the biggest value for me is the time saved in screening and reviewing candidates. The AI-assisted features are also useful for creating and evaluating role-relevant assessments, although I still prefer to review the results myself before making any decision. One area that could be improved is the reporting and comparison of candidates. I would like more flexibility to customize the dashboard and reports based on what I need for a particular role. Some AI-based insights could also provide more context around a candidate's approach instead of mainly focusing on the final score.

Other area that could be improved is setting up coding tests where I need to provide boilerplate code and the candidate works in a VS Code-like environment.
