**What do you like best about Clover?**

Easy to use, efficient app, competitive rates,

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

I can't easily print off multiple transactions. I can download them to a spreadsheet and print off a list, but that has tons of useless info that I have to edit out of the spreadsheet (very time consuming) or I have to screenshot the transaction history (also time consuming) or I have to print them off one by one - which is time consuming and usually useless since the customer name doesn't get printed. I want a feature that allows me to easily print and includes:customer name, last four of card number, date, and amount.

Chose another company if you want to print

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

See above. Clover is good, but overall there are better options. Clover is excellent for beginners though and has all the basic features needed.

Its so easy to use. Just like ur andriod. Picture quality is good too. You can make customers accounts and stuff.

If you have to search something. And you search item in reverse order. Lets say 
Levis tee you search as tee levis nothing will show up.

Should get it.

Use it at workplace. Its fun and take all kinds of cards and google apple pays.

As far as enter customer transactions - it is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

Wish it did more.  In their defense we may have not spent a lot of time in their app store to see what they offer.  We need auto text to new customers.  We need better inventory control.  We need better and more reports.

It keeps track of our transactions and gives us reports of daily sales and sales YTD.

**What do you like best about Clover?**

Before, I would have ranked Clover below Prism and Square. Last year my company's bar switched from archaic cash registers to Clover. It was initially frustrating to not be able to separate  under categories for things like timed discounts (happy hour). Over time Clover has evolved and is much more user friendly where categories and labels make sense. This system is better than Toast and getting closer to being as good as Aloha. Printing reports and syncing/exporting them to QuickBooks is seamless. You can now request specific reports from a year back! Oh, and what's really convenient is their app. You can use a virtual terminal and see open and closed tickets.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

When printing a second receipt copy for the guest, sometimes the order receipt will also print out. Waste of paper. Each case of paper is around $50, but they now have the option to start a reoccuring paper shipment based on your use/tracking. Any credit cards that are manually entered require the guest to either tell you or manually input their zipcode which gets sort of awkward. If you do a preauth, be prepared for guests having concerns if they have a bank app on their phone.

Easy to generate very specific reports of items, employees, top selling products, etc. 

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently plugged in pricing per unit in my system to be able to see actual revenue. Profits and losses are easier to see this way. I will soon plug in updated inventory.

**What do you like best about Clover?**

Clover was a big improvement over our previous POS system.  We can get real-time reports on a web-based system at any time.  
The system has been very dependable.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

We did feel as though we were on our own to figure out and set up the system.  We're still learning things about the system and how we want it configured.
Not very pleased with the gift card system and its functionality with Clover.

Clover has reduced our annual costs associated with card processing as well as POS service/support.
We also are looking at the possibility of using Clover for social media marketing and loyalty rewards.

We love the portable card readers the best. Thy are so helpful for our drivers. 

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

Refunding credit and debits cards seems to be a bit of a process. I think the features could be a little better. We've also noticed some small glitches, cannot organize recent charges by most recent it has the option but every time i click it never reorganizes and stays in the same order.

We haven't really solved a problem with samsara but more filled a hole where we needed portable card readers for times the office is closed.

The Clover POS system is extremely simple and easy to use. It allows me to clock in and out of work, ring up the customers as necessary, and do so quickly. 

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

I dislike the fact that if you have an open order on the system, it does not allow you to clock out. If a customer says they want three items and you add three to the transaction, but they change their mind and only want one, you cannot delete an item without a manager code and you cannot clock out u til this order is deleted.

Clover is very easy and simple, and can be taught to associates learning the POS system in a matter of hours. 

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that we are working on solving is the ability to clock out if there is an open order saved in the register. The biggest benefit is that the clover product allows us to complete transactions relatively quickly.

**What do you like best about Clover?**

The product's realistic UI is straightforward and the touch screen is responsive for high-traffic times and speedy to react. The register is smooth and doesn't take a great deal of room. Charge card exchanges are basic and quick. Clover has a large group of applications to coordinate including stock administration, time and participation, markdowns, and a client dependability program which was a hit with our clients. The Clover framework is really a surprising POS at the cost of passage. The smooth current look keeps the money wrap looking clean and refreshed. The Digital receipt and mark has eliminated paper waste and makes us feel like we are doing out part to make less weight on the earth. On the off chance that we ever have specialized challenges Clover Support is dependably an extraordinary assistance and appears to get the issue settled in a flash.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

In some cases the screen may slack or glitch on the off chance that you move excessively quick despite that Clover is a fantastic tool!

I adored that it was simple for us to set it up and for the staff to utilize proficiently. It would even content, print or email the receipt to the customer. It requires no rationale, they are moving the correct way and backing has been great.

The old cash register never again fits the inside control condition and a switch was frantically required. In the wake of inquiring about different stages we picked Clover. It allows you to have a point of sale system anywhere you can get a cell signal. This allows for the portability of your business without the restrictions of needing a WiFi connection. It’s also easy to use and keep track of income even down to who is using which payment processor.

Sometimes it can be difficult to even connect to a cell signal.

For a food truck business it allows us to accept credit and debit cards. There are still a large number of vendors who only accept cash.

the patients love that it looks high-tech and modern, and I love that I can make transactions, process credit cards manually, and even process refunds easily. It comes with many features and apps that are very helpful to my business.

there is no Yelp or Google Reviews app for my patients to leave reviews as they pay. The only yelp app doesn't work on the mini clover I have.

Consider the rates for this merchant service product. We have it with Bank of America, but other banks may have lower/higher rates.

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to process credit cards is a necessity nowadays, and being able to take payments over the phone or mailed from patients is great and I can process them with no issues.

It is very easy to maneuver as far as a pos system goes. I like that this program is very easy to use. You also can add square to it and it comes with iPads to take to the tables to use.

Lack of modifiers in system. You can't make modifiers per catagories.there also aren't alot of options.

Problems I'm solving g is by saving time since you can take the iPad with you to the tables for credit card payments. This allows faster turn over.

BluePay has been a no hassle processing company with easy to navigate reporting and quick live chat responses.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

As it grows and integrates/merges with other services and companies, I believe it hasn't been easy to keep track of what is changing and how it affects our company specifically. 

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BluePay had significantly better rates to offer than competitors that integrated with our booking software, Tripleseat. Anyone using Tripleseat should get in contact with BluePay.

Many of the apps I need require a separate subscription.

We are now able to offer printed receipts, which we did not have with our previous system. Also has opened up the possibility for us to accept online payments, and with an added Bluetooth device, provides portability for us to travel to art shows.

I had the clover mini, with barcode scanner,
You can manage all your inventory, sales, receipts, payroll etc , the machine world really good, and I love that is wireless, so you can move it at your convenience,

For the price point, you get a lot for your money, give it a try

No option for secondary display, or certain merchant compatibility,

**What do you like best about Clover?**

They are normally willing to work with you on refunds and they are willing to make it right with the customer the majority of the time. The backend was easy to integrate with our online software. The end user never knew BluePay was involved, which is exactly what we and our clients wanted.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

I do not like the fee's that they charge customers. Many customers are unaware of these fee's and will cause us demanding answers. It is tough to say what fee is being charged, so we normally have to contact BluePay ourselves to figure it out and then report back to the customer. Some of the fee's they charged included PCI Compliance, chargeback's, incorrect back information, lack of funds in the user's account, statement fee, and a higher percentage for AMEX just to name a few.

**Recommendations to others considering Clover:**

Look at other options as well. BluePay is great, but the fee's will become your main issue when interacting with clients. It seems like some of the fee's are hidden and are hard to find out about. Consider looking at a platform that is a little more open and honest about their pricing structures. 

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are a merchant who can process transactions and that was something we could not offer. Their backend system is a bit tricky to manage, but you can usually figure out some things from it. Again, we normally have to call or email their support team to figure out what is going on with specific client accounts.

The things I like best about Clover POS system is how small it is. It is also very user friendly and easy to navigate.

I love that the pads are all touch-based, no annoying button or clicking sounds

I like using bluepay as an online payment processor  that syncs with CRMs my business uses easily. 

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

Currently, the fee for transaction is slightly higher than the default CRM processor. 

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a nonprofit, bluepay allows us to have an online platform for peer to peer fundraising and other online fundraising opportunity.

Because I own a small business, it is usually hard to make a good enough income to be able to accept credit cards. Bluepay makes it easy for me. 

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

There are a lot of hidden fees and the prices aren't' listed on their website. They should be more transparent with how much it costs.

We are trying to make accepting credit card payments easier for us, allowing shoppers to pay with convenience as well.

Clover is a decent system for point of sales, it’s fairly easy to use and not overly complicated. I think my favorite feature is that I can take sales from my IPhone when I’m not in the office with ease.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

On the systems tablet itself it logs you out after completing each sell and you have to log back in again to start the next. This is actually pretty frustrating when we are busy.

It is easy to track sales of all employees and monitor stats.  So it makes it a lot easier to keep up with weekly sales numbers.

Training on it was super easy and straight forward, got administrator access same day as well. Super simple interface keeps it nice and idiot friendly for the minimum wage staff. Adding custom merchandise is also simple...

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

When adding custom merchandise not a lot of options to mess with. When adding merchandise there's a lack custom folder or organization so all the merchandise is on one page under a few options where you need to scroll to find. Not many of my customers have heard of it - so they tend to be a little apprehensive. Once I show they the app itself, their mind is at ease.

We use the Clover device mini at several kiosk locations. Clover is great and we rarely ever have any problems with our device or excepting transactions from our customers. If we ever have technical difficulties Clover Support is always a great help and seems to get the problem solved almost instantly. They even had a new Clover Mini sent to our corporate office when ours was compromised.. Thanks Clover!

By far, my favorite feature is that the software is easy to use. When we switched to the Clover system I was concerned about the time it would take to train all of our employees. However, after less than an hour my staff was proficient and understood the basic concepts of the system. 

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

It would be nice to be able to change basic features and colors of the interface. For instance, I work at a university and I would like to be able to incorporate the school colors or even graphics into the home screen and background.

This is a great, easy to use POS system and I you won't have any regrets!

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We went from using a cash-only bar at our football stadium to being able to have a complete POS system with Clover, rapidly taking and filling orders and keeping a much more detailed account of our inventory and sales. Waste and theft were all but eliminated with this software.

24/7 in-house customer support was super helpful when I had issues. Low-volume merchants should look at other options. High-volume merchants will like the pricing and support.

There are certain things that employees can not do without Administrative authorization that I feel should be able to.

I like it's size and some of its functionality. 
It's better than the Sintel system I had prior.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

Customer support is difficult and lacking.
It has web browsing capabilities but will not work with Google drive or properly load Gmail even through their tech support uses a Gmail account. I understand it's a tablet - but I have those functions on my iPad, Samsung and Surface tablets.
Credit card reader/pin pad is temperamental with chips. If they insert too soon it tells them to remove it - causing confusion to the customer, if they remove it too soon it locks up the pinpad. It requires customer to leave the card in the reader and does not make a loud enough noise when customers forget their card - this has led to a lot of forgotten credit cards.
They'll occasionally update the software causing changes to functionality without giving me notice, mostly moving the location of payment method buttons, this leads to confusion and mistakes in ringing customers.
There's no simple way to correct a payment mistake.
Customer database could be more user friendly.
Gift card processing through the station is expensive.
I'd like an easier way to track sales by the hour without paying for a 3rd party app.

There's a benefit in being able to see my sales numbers remotely through the app

Its design is very sleek, modern, compact. Clover offers a handy tablet where you can take orders remotely at tables without having to return to the main base. Its touch screen is better than many others POS system. 

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

Customer support is useful but usually takes a very long time to pickup. It is a little inconventient in its user experience design, such as add tips, discounts, delivery, and the log in page. It has a cool reciept scan element but never seems to work properly. Similarly, it offers different interesting apps but they are not free. Bar authentication is complicated and not very convenient in a busy setting.

**Recommendations to others considering Clover:**

This would be perfect for a smaller restaurant. Not very useful for a busy bar.

I use it as a POS system for my restaurant and bar.

No API, missing several key functions for price variants and inventory. More for quick, custom POS amounts.

Look into Square, I believe they may offer a bit more flexibility in their offering. They do have a nice POS system, and the hardware is nice too, but you will find the lack of customization a bit tough.

Accepting payments while in-person with clients who have just signed on for a custom project amount.

**What do you like best about Clover?**

The software's graphic user interface is simple and familiar.  The touch screen is responsive for high-traffic times and quick to respond.  Touch screen pens also fit well with the touchscreen.  The register is slick and doesn't take a lot of space.  Credit card transactions are simple and fast.  Each person has a unique user id for security purposes.

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

The time it takes to print receipts takes between 3-5 seconds to register to the printer so that might be an issue for extremely fast transactions.  Also, if there's a huge amount of change and coins, that might pose an room issue but that is uncommon.   The "save" button is right next to the transaction buttons so it would be easy to accidentally hit save when you meant to hit a transaction on the screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Clover:**

If you are familiar with touch screen software and tablets, you will find using Clover very easy to use and navigate.  Little training is needed, and the software is very intuitive.

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to high customer flow and credit card usage, the we moved from analog cash registers to Clover electronic registers.  We are now able to accept credit cards at a reasonable pace and serve the customers demands.  This consequently made customer lines move much faster and reduced wait time.

**What do you like best about Clover?**

The program and tablet are easy to use and are very efficient for billing and receipts.  We can now send receipts through text, email, or with an old fashioned paper print out.  It also conveniently still uses the same old receipt rolls of replacement paper as the old machines.  

**What do you dislike about Clover?**

It took a long time for the customer service representative to help us set up the device over the phone through a conference call.  She seemed to not be very knowledgeable about the device and had to ask several of her own coworkers for help in guiding us and directing us in order to sufficiently set it up.  Because she had no basic knowledge of our office, it proved to be very difficult.  Eventually we had to give up and ask for a different customer service representative to come to our office in person to set it up.  Although he was very knowledgeable and helpful, we ended up staying at work much later than closing time.  It was complicated to set up, but is much easier to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Clover:**

Have the customer service representative schedule a time to set it up in person for you and then explain and show the users how to use the device.

**What problems is Clover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have realized it is much easier to quickly send receipts to customers via email, text, or a paper printout.  We can do all at the same time or a combination of any of the above.  It is easier to use chip cards and to close out the accounts at the end of a billing day or period.

The only thing I liked about the clover was the ability to have a separate number for each staff member.

The clover is not good at keeping up with inventory, you can add inventory to the back office or through the portal , however the sync between the two is horrible.
