I like Cloudways for its simple, easy-to-use interface, making server management straightforward. I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to add modules or parts to the server as needed, which is a great feature. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy, which was one of the reasons I chose Cloudways over going directly with Digital Ocean. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that I can't scale down as easily as I can scale up. Also, while the interface is simple and easy to use, I'm not a fan that I have to pay $100 per month for support when I have problems. It'd be nice to have a one-time fee option instead. There are also some frustrations with limited options available for server-side functionalities, which makes me want more features available. I had some issues initially connecting with GitHub due to an email mismatch, and it wasn't clear to me how to get support since I was a new customer. It was frustrating hitting a wall when trying to verify my account because of the email issue, and there wasn't clear guidance on how to create a support ticket on the platform.
