What do you like best about Cloudbeds?

I like Cloudbeds’ modern, well-designed interface. It looks good, and I find features and configuration easier to find than in our previous solution. It’s about 30% less expensive, too. I like the direct booking engine and the guest shop, where we can offer transfers for guests to buy through the guest portal. The booking engine, shop, and guest experience communications are all in one package, so I don’t need to integrate different vendors to get that functionality. The guest experience features are more sophisticated than HostAway’s unified inbox, with more functionality for less money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudbeds?

The biggest issue for us is the limited Bahasa Indonesia support. The mobile app has some support, but the desktop interface and Cloudbeds University training materials are only in English, and the LMS content can’t be translated with common tools like Google Translate. The guest portal also doesn’t support Bahasa Indonesia though lucky for us we do not focus on the domestic Indonesian market. We also had a challenge with the Booking.com integration because Cloudbeds supports only one listing. We had to move from multiple listings to one listing with different accommodation types, and we lost the ability to use our own labels for the different room types. Guests now see Booking.com’s default labels instead of names like “Premium Overwater Guest House.” I’d like Cloudbeds to support multiple Booking.com listings in one account.
