What do you like best about Cloudback?

Reliability and simplicity. Once connected, Cloudback quietly handles daily backups of repositories, all associated metadata, and LFS objects, then lets us restore or download archives whenever needed. Being able to point storage at our preferred providers (S3, Azure, GCS, etc.) while keeping encryption and immutability options is a big plus. What do you dislike about Cloudback?

Documentation is solid, yet a few more real-world restore walkthroughs or example retention strategies for mixed GitHub + Azure DevOps environments would accelerate onboarding for new team members. What problems is Cloudback solving and how is that benefiting you?

Accidental deletions, ransomware concerns, and platform migration scenarios were the main risks we faced with our source-code assets. Cloudback provides an independent, encrypted safety net that sits outside the primary development platforms. At Zoom Group this has translated into faster recovery when issues arise, simpler preparation for audits, and the ability to maintain retention policies that match our internal governance requirements.
