"Easy to use time tracking and reporting"

What do you like best about Clockify?

The Time Tracker and Dashboard are super easy for tracking my billable hours. I also like that I have had the browser window open for several months now and have not had to log back in ever. That could possible be seen as a security issue, but I work from home and nobody gets near my computer but me. I also love how simple it is to edit time entries. If I forget to clock in or clock out, you can just edit whatever time you want by clicking on it in the time tracker window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clockify?

The time only appears as hours:minutes:seconds, but I wish it had an option for time as a decimal, which would be more useful for invoicing. This might be something to do with my internet connection, but the time lapse that appears on the browser tab is usually a few minutes behind what the actual time I have been working on a project is. Recommendations to others considering Clockify:

This software is very simple to use if you are trying to track your hours on a certain project. It's also great for calculating your total time worked in a billable period, if you are paid by the hour and don't already have an automated system for clocking in and out. I'm not sure how easy it is to manage a team with it, as I'm not an administrator, but I imagine it is very straight forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Clockify solving and how is that benefiting you?

Clockify has made it really simple to track my hours, both daily and weekly. I also use the dashboard to fill out my invoices which has saved a lot of time trying to figure that out with a spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Client and Project Management with Clockify"

What do you like best about Clockify?

This is a straight out of box turnkey solution. Creating new clients and projects is extremely straightforward, which makes it much easier to handle reporting for billing and invoicing. Clockify is utilized by my team through our entire workday. I honestly can't imagine how I managed this process before using Clockify! I haven't had to involve Customer Support at all. What do you dislike about Clockify?

The visualization options are somewhat limited, especially when it comes to color coding different projects. I rely on color coding to quickly find specific entries, and having a greater variety of colors would make this process much faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using Clockify has made it much easier to track my team members' time across various client projects. What do you like best about Clockify?

I find Clockify to be extremely straightforward and easy to set up, which is ideal for someone with average tech skills like myself. The initial setup process is simple—just install the software, and there's a concise three-minute tutorial video that clearly explains all the essential details, making it easy to quickly get the hang of the tool. Clockify does a great job of solving the challenges of time tracking and client billing, making it an excellent starting point, particularly for remote work situations such as customer service or virtual assistant roles. The fact that there is a free version is a significant advantage, especially for beginners. I also really value the flexibility Clockify offers when it comes to editing time entries, even when working offline due to internet issues. This level of freedom is something I haven't found in many other time trackers, which often don't allow such edits. I appreciate being able to manually add missed times and how simple it is to track various tasks and projects throughout my workday. This is especially helpful when juggling multiple clients and projects. Overall, the ease of setup, the ability to manually adjust time entries, and the efficient task management make me want to keep using and recommending Clockify. I also like how easily Clockify syncs tracked time with Deal for billing, which helps ensure accuracy and makes the billing process smoother. In my experience, Clockify seems better suited for smaller teams or freelancers, and I think it would be advantageous if its features were expanded to better accommodate larger organizations. I think this limitation played a major role in my company's decision to switch to another tool, WebWork. I also feel that enhancing Clockify's security features would make it more attractive to bigger companies. Furthermore, I find it inconvenient that there is no integration or automation between Clockify and Deel, as this requires manual data syncing and reduces overall efficiency and speed. What do you like best about Clockify?

The best thing is how simple and effective it is for tracking time without any unnecessary distraction. It’s super helpful, so whether you’re logging hours for work, personal projects, or just staying on your productivity, it’s easy to use. Also, the reports and insights are areally very good! What do you like best about Clockify?

If you are a freelancer or agency, you'd understand how much work it is tracking your time manually... Clockify handles that completely.

Instead of logging my time in an unorganized excel document, I am able to use it to send out invoices, send reminders, and pull time for different clients! I use it every single day.

I love how easy Clockify makes it to track your time, there is also an app version as well. Seeing the reports is super easy, and being able to add long descriptions has been amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clockify?

I do think that while the app version is decent, it can be improved. The UI isn't the best and pulling the reports are quite limited using the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Clockify solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used to FORGET to send invoices when working with multiple clients, and forget to log my time especially when answering emails or phone calls. As a consultant, I charge per HOUR...so you understand the importance of keeping track of my time. More hours worked = More money.

Like many other freelancers, I was tracking my time using a excel sheet. This made it more difficult when I was juggling up to 5 clients, and even worse when it came time to send invoices. Sending invoices required so much work that instead of sending out invoices every two weeks as normal, I would wait until the month was over...and still dreaded sending invoices.

Clockify has completely changed my life. Now, as soon as I start work, I start my timer. I'm able to add in the task description so that when I pull it for the invoice, it tells the client exactly what I worked on. sending invoices is so easy because you can just pull it by the dates, AND it can also send follow-up reminders.
