## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. All-in-One Flexibility That Keeps Work Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naman K. | Solution engineer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how it brings everything—tasks, docs, goals, time tracking, and communication—into one place. The flexibility is a big advantage; you can customize workflows, views (like list, board, Gantt), and automations to fit any team or project style. It also reduces the need for multiple tools, which improves efficiency and keeps everything organized and easy to track in real time.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some downsides of ClickUp come from that same flexibility—it can feel overwhelming at first. The interface is packed with features, so there’s a learning curve before you can use it efficiently. Performance can also be inconsistent at times, especially with large workspaces or complex dashboards, leading to slow loading. Additionally, too many customization options can create clutter or confusion if not managed well, and notifications can get noisy if settings aren’t carefully configured.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve the problem of scattered work by bringing tasks, documents, communication, and tracking into a single platform. Instead of switching between multiple tools, everything is centralized, which reduces miscommunication and saves time. It also improves visibility into project progress with real-time updates, making it easier to track deadlines, assign responsibilities, and identify bottlenecks early.

From a business perspective, this leads to better team collaboration, higher productivity, and more organized workflows. Custom automations further reduce manual effort, while reporting and dashboards help in making data-driven decisions, ultimately improving overall efficiency and project delivery timelines.

 ### 2. Highly Customizable, Needs Better AI Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davi C. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp as the main management tool at my company. I love how it helps us stay organized in a manageable way day to day and provides us a single place to track workload, store assets and information, and ensure tasks aren't forgotten or blocked. I really appreciate the customizability, allowing me to set up specific statuses for lists, folders, and spaces so the platform adapts to different kinds of work, which feels very modular. This flexibility lets us organize various workflows without it becoming messy or locked into a rigid structure. I also find its modular structure invaluable for keeping things clean and scalable as we take on more work and adjust setups without starting over. The initial setup was fairly easy, starting with a simple setup and then adding features like automations and custom dashboards.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

AI (Brain) and Chat features. The AI feels a bit disconnected from the rest of the platform, almost like it was added on without really fitting into the workflow. It doesn't seem to connect with the features in a way that feels truly useful yet, so it comes across as something that could be better integrated. The Chat feature also feels like it tried to replace tools people already use well instead of acting as a helpful collaborative layer inside ClickUp.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps us organized with a manageable day-to-day system, helping us track workloads, store assets, and ensure tasks aren't forgotten or blocked.

 ### 3. All-in-One Platform with Improved Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for both work and personal project tracking and collaboration, which helps me keep all my context in one tool set across teams. The communications, docs, and tasks being in one place is very helpful, especially with AI integrated. I appreciate the completeness of the product platform, including having chat built into the toolset. As a program manager, I rarely need to go outside of ClickUp looking for information. It's great not having to use Slack and Teams or build integrations with my project management tools because it's all included in the platform. The initial setup was very easy, which made getting started smooth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It historically has been a little slow and clunky. You could feel it in the product that they invested heavily in features early on and not so much in performance and quality. I’ve seen that improve especially with v4.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for tracking and collaboration, keeping all context in one toolkit across teams, with communications, docs, and tasks. It includes chat, so I don't need separate integrations with Slack or Teams.

 ### 4. Streamlines Project Management Perfectly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Demetrius W. | Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how we can organize the projects and that we can break it up into teams within the company. There are privacy layers that ensure certain items can be seen by specific members of the team, but maybe not others. The tagging features and all those sorts of things are really helpful for me and my workflow. It's really useful that, as a sales team member, I can go to the IT ticket section within ClickUp and create a ticket. It's a preloaded document where I can just paste in or type in the issues I'm having from an IT perspective. There are specific sections for sales, marketing, and other departments, which is really helpful for the sake of organization.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There is nothing I can think of that I dislike.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for organizing projects effectively, with team-specific setups, privacy layers, and tagging features enhancing our workflow. It's valuable for handling IT issues with preloaded ticket sections for departments like sales and marketing, streamlining my organizational tasks.

 ### 5. Comprehensive Project Management but Needs More Stability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma L. | Product Sector Manager - Specialities, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp can be accessed on both a web app and a mobile app, which is really useful. I appreciate the user experience because it's quite clear and easy to use. There's a lot of features, and although it can sometimes be a little overwhelming because there's so much going on, it's good to know those features are available if I need them. I also like the multiple different views like KanBans, tables, and lists because they help me manage projects across my team. It helps me visualize all of my projects in one window and split complex projects, aiding my project management.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think sometimes it glitches a little bit. It can be a little bit slow. And feature releases seem very... I just think, generally, more stability with the platform when it does go glitch on the odd occasion.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me visualize all my projects in one window and split complex projects, aiding my project management.

 ### 6. AI-Powered Team Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pravallika M. | Consultant | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp for sprint planning, team chat, meetings, and as a document hub with its AI note taker. It helps me have everything in one place, allowing me to share and create docs and assign them to tasks with full context for my team. I appreciate the AI agents in ClickUp; they really make things easier by running my standup updates and assigning tasks based on priorities without any need for me to remember. This allows me, as a startup founding member, to focus on the many tasks I have. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile experience could be better. Some docs won't open on mobile, and Miro boards won't open. Also, the sprints could be sorted in latest first instead of scrolling a lot to get to the current sprint.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes everything, allowing me to share and create docs, assign tasks with full context. AI agents handle updates and task assignments automatically, freeing me to focus on other tasks.

 ### 7. Altamente intuitivo com automações impressionantes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margarida S. | Gestão Administrativa e Financeira | Suporte Funcional Primavera ERP, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Os relatórios poderiam ser mais automáticos. Por exemplo, internamente queríamos relatórios diários enviados com tarefas pendentes e horas rastreadas nas tarefas.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 8. Great for Team Alignment, Needs Performance Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie B. | Sales manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp keeps our team on the same page as we move through the week. We meet every single day as part of a daily rhythm to review the ClickUp cards and patient-specific work items. We frequently use the comments to add updates and change dates, and daily meetings bring up items that need to be discussed, keeping us aligned.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I've found that ClickUp is very laggy, and it seems to have gotten worse over time, unfortunately. It's frustrating when I make an update to a date or something, and it doesn't show as changed until I click into the ClickUp card. It's just very glitchy and laggy. I'm still using it, but if this doesn't get fixed soon, I would be open to considering another tool.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp ensures nothing falls through the cracks by aligning our team's tasks and timelines, helping us stay on the same page.

 ### 9. Versatile Tool with Great Customization, Slightly Slow Mobile App

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vojtěch S. | Obchodní zástupce, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for project management and task tracking in my web development work. I like the flexibility and customization options. The custom fields and automation features save a lot of time. The interface is clean and intuitive. The Kanban board view is particularly useful for visualizing workflow. Custom fields let me track project status and priority levels. Automation helps me automate repetitive tasks and send notifications, saving a significant amount of time every week. The initial setup was relatively easy, and the onboarding guides were helpful. ClickUp has much more to offer compared to Trello.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile app can be a bit slow sometimes. Loading times are higher than expected. Also, some advanced reporting features could be easier to access.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me keep track of multiple client projects and deadlines. The Kanban board visualizes workflow. Custom fields and automation save time by tracking status, automating repetitive tasks, and sending notifications.

 ### 10. Streamlined Collaboration, Needs AI Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis E. | AI & Growth Operator | Fractional, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how everything is in one platform with ClickUp. It's an all-in-one solution that solves the problem of different team members being siloed in different products. I appreciate that it brings all our work into one place, allowing us to collaborate and move efficiently through project timelines, ensuring deliverables are done on time and up to our standards. It also helps with varying templates and gets all our SOPs in line, basically providing just one portal for our team to work out of. It also has a lot more robust features compared to Trello, and having everything in one platform boosts our operational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the AI agents still need some work. The initial setup is not easy and definitely takes time and effort to build a robust landscape.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of team members being siloed in different products. It brings all our work into one place, allowing for efficient collaboration and ensuring deliverables are on time. It also aligns our SOPs and provides a single portal for the team.

 ### 11. Comprehensive Task Management with Small Glitches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jules M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage work for my company and it makes it easy to create and assign tasks. The recently introduced Agents are great for setting reminders for both myself and my boss. I like the internal Slack-like features, so we don't need a separate messaging app, and the internal docs. It's a comprehensive platform! I appreciate the ability to customize it at all levels, both broadly and granularly, at the task level. I really use the time tracking feature a lot and appreciate the improvements over time, with fewer lags and the ability to have multiple tabs open without affecting time tracking. Time tracking is crucial for allocating work and managing our team's productivity. The easy initial setup without much documentation was a bonus. I also value the guest seats provided by ClickUp, which have been instrumental as we have scaled up and started using ClickUp to provide a dashboard for our clients as well. Overall, ClickUp is a very good platform, and I would recommend it with a 10 for work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes ClickUp glitches and some features do not work as well as they could, especially when it comes to tasks. For instance, I may try to move a task from one status to the next in the Board view but it doesn't actually move or it changes order, automatically going to the bottom, when I tried to drag it to the top. When it comes to Agents, they sometimes fail to find in-scope tasks to report on, or they don't start working on a DM unless specifically tagged, which is not ideal. I also think the mobile app could be improved to include some administrative capabilities. While I can see tasks in the mobile view, I can't access features like the AI usage dashboard, making it hard to monitor admin statistics on the go.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to create and assign tasks, set reminders, and manage internal communication and documentation. Plus, manage team members and their work. Its customization and time tracking enhance our productivity, and we can build workflows to match our needs. It provides comprehensive functionality in a straightforward platform.

 ### 12. Automation Excellence, Challenging Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petri K. | EDITOR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think one of the key features of ClickUp is the automation. It allows me to save time every time we have a new project by automating the task creation. As one task is finished, the responsible person is reassigned to another task, and they receive real-time alerts. This really streamlines the whole production pipeline and shortens the production schedule. Another feature I like is the chat function, which I have broken out into separate clients so that I'm not dealing with a single stream of text and getting lost. We break our chats down by client, which helps in managing communication effectively.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the onboarding was quite difficult. It's difficult because it's a very intricate and complex piece of software that's capable of doing a lot.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage workflows, organize and track project time, and clean up communication channels. Automation saves me time by streamlining task assignments, and the chat function prevents communication overload by focusing conversation on relevant channels.

 ### 13. Centralized Organization with Minor Feature Overload

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saniyat Mushrat L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp mainly for managing tasks, tracking project progress, and organizing team workflows. I like having everything in one place, such as tasks, timelines, and communications, which makes it easy and flexible, helping me to focus. I also love the ClickUp whiteboard for its interactivity and how easy it is to visually plan ideas and workflows. It's great to have this feature integrated without needing to use a paid website. The initial setup of ClickUp was so easy.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming with so many features which can't be turned off with an option, and the mobile app is so buggy. It could use settings for a minimal view, like how Gmail offers detailed, general, and minimal view options. For the mobile app, it needs more speed, clarification on what a button does, and more modification independence.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for managing tasks, tracking project progress, organizing team workflows, and centralizing communication. It helps me stay organized, reduces the chaos of managing multiple tasks, and saves time.

 ### 14. Powerful Automation with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eda K. | IT Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate ClickUp for its ease of use, allowing cross-functional teams who aren't familiar with project management tools to use it easily, while still providing advanced features that help me to manage everything efficiently. I find its interface very intuitive for integrating various elements. In a deliverable, it's super easy to add relations, dependencies, and even mention comments. The AI chat, AI Agents, and automation features are particularly impressive. They help automate my workflows and reduce the effort required to manage processes. I also like how I can integrate AI workflow automation tools or use ClickUp's customizable AI Agents with helpful default prompts such as the 'Project Health Reporter' agent, which automatically creates sprint reports from the highlights I provide. Additionally, the initial setup was super easy due to the user-friendly UI, and transferring data was straightforward even when transitioning from Trello.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The automation feature could be improved. I wish I could create custom automations for my custom fields. Also, I'd love to have automation options for when a dependent task is blocked and to automatically manage the block status of related tasks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to plan and manage project life cycles with cross-functional teams. It's easy for them and advanced for me. The interface, AI features, and automations streamline workflows, saving effort. I appreciate its integrations and sprint report generation.

 ### 15. Powerful, Easy Task Tracking with Helpful AI and Outlook Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos Q. | Quotes specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The way I can keep track of tasks and assigning them to my team with deadlines. AI is very useful too. The user interface is very amicable and easy to use but it remains being a powerful tool. I like how you can integrate Outlook to tasks. It runs smooth and updates constantly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

If I had to choose something, I think it would be the chat. Personally, I use other tools to communicate but that's just me.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking fllow ups, collecting medical records and setting up reminders for meetings and phone calls. Delegating tasks to my assistant and presenting how a case evolves.

 ### 16. Efficient Task Management but Needs Better Guide

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because it helps to keep me organized and gives my clients a place to see exactly what we are working on. I appreciate that it allows me to quickly add important tasks in one place, which helps prevent tasks and ideas from falling through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I hate how it automates to list view; I much prefer the board view. I also wish there was more of a guide or a prompt encouraging users to read the user manual. I have had a hard time figuring out the best place to put what things and how to make it work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps prevent tasks and ideas from falling through the cracks. It keeps me organized and provides my clients a place to see exactly what we're working on and quickly add important tasks in one place.

 ### 17. Powerful Tools and Views That Keep My Work Perfectly Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam M. | Freelance Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the many tools and views you can have to keep your work organized. Being able to filter my tasks and sort them with statuses and deadlines helps me stay on top of my work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing I'll say is that because there is so much to offer, it can seem daunting just starting out. Luckily ClickUp has lots of guides and tools to help me learn.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing me to separate work and home life while making it easy to stay on top of the work I need to get done and when. Using it daily lately has allowed me to remember my tasks as they are on my mind more often, but without clouding my thoughts. I still feel like I have a separation from work and home life.

 ### 18. Comprehensive Task Management Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tymofii Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I enjoy using ClickUp for organizing complex tasks, collaborating with my team, and tracking progress. It's great for mental organization of tasks, breaking them down into subtasks, and prioritization. I appreciate the transparency it provides, showing how each team member moves and helping to analyze workloads and flows. I'm excited about the completeness of functionalities; with ClickUp, I don't need anything else for my everyday complex tasks. I recently created an AI-agent, which automates checking the status and progress of linked IT development tasks and reports back to me. Plus, ClickUp is integrated successfully with our corporate Claude plan. I find it very convenient and smooth to use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

When you add several assignees to a task, you can't define specific statuses for each of them in the task (for example, controller or contributor) - all are just assignees. But I can't say it really shrinks productivity substantially.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp organizes complex tasks into manageable parts, enhances team transparency, and aids workload analysis. Its comprehensive functionalities replace the need for other tools. My AI-agent tracks task progress and updates me, streamlining management.

 ### 19. Streamlined Project Management with ClickUp's AI Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meytar D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp is really up to date with new AI agents that really help us. We connect them to Slack, and it helps us by reminding people of tasks they didn't finish, which helps us prioritize better. The AI agents are really cool, and in general, it's a great system. It's been great for task management for all the members in our marketing firm. We also use it for project management and managing problematic campaigns. The different boards really help us separate what needs to be separated, and we have a real workspace that helps us do cohesive teamwork. As the head of a division responsible for quality control, I use it all the time because I have an agent that goes through projects with problems or client complaints. It tells me which projects haven't been updated in a few days, which really helps me be more in control. The setup was pretty simple, and ClickUp has a few great features that were good for us compared to what we used with the previous product.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Maybe creating a simpler view for some users who don't need to use the entire system would be great. Like, creating a workspace that is only for them and they're not exposed to all the rest of the things.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ClickUp for task and project management, managing problematic campaigns with different boards. It helps us do cohesive teamwork with a 50-member team. The AI agents and Slack integration help prioritize tasks and manage quality control, keeping me informed of project updates.

 ### 20. ClickUp keeps my marketing agency organized

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amman Z. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it keeps everything in one place. No more jumping between Notion, Sheets, and Slack. I can manage my team tasks, track Meta ad campaigns, and see lead performance all together. Saves me a ton of time every day.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is pretty steep at the beginning. Too many options and it took me a while to set it up properly for our campaigns. The mobile app also feels slow and clunky sometimes.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp fixes the biggest headache I had — everything scattered across different apps. Now all my tasks, Meta ad campaigns, and lead tracking sit in one spot. It’s saved me a lot of time and made running Medioy way less chaotic.

 ### 21. Effortless Personal Task Management with ClickUp's Versatile Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant K.

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage timelines, especially for my actuarial exams and personal task management. It's a great tool for organizing my tasks, like an elaborate to-do list. Everything is very organized within the different spaces, making it easy to find notes. I really like that they have an AI tab where I can switch between different LLM models and keep my queries in one place. It's also pretty affordable compared to buying AI packages from the providers themselves, and it's handy to have options integrated within ClickUp. The API is pretty useful for pulling data into my coding language of choice. The setup was pretty easy, and building lists was simple and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is built for teams to use it together, but I use it by myself. I think some features that I like aren’t enhanced because of the team focus.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves my organizational issues. It's an elaborate to-do list for managing timelines and study. It organizes notes perfectly and offers a cheaper AI integration than other providers. It's helpful to have all my queries integrated in one place.

 ### 22. Customizable Task Management with Room for Improvement in Time Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ted W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the customization process with ClickUp. There's a standard format that already exists, but creating templates is easy to do, letting us customize the product to our needs as a company. There seems to be tons of support and resources, so we've been able to take a product out of the box and make it our own. We have a lot of repetitive tasks, and by creating customized templates, we can be very specific to the needs of each task. Whether it's something involving a client or for internal use, we can create different templates for each. The automations help trigger processes and make it easier to keep track of things.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only issue that I've come across consistently is with the time tracking capabilities in ClickUp. I wish I could open up a project and easily see which of my employees worked for how long on that project. Right now, that's a bit difficult to do based on how the tasks and subtasks are created.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves organizational problems, prevents bottlenecks, and provides visibility into task management. It allows for customizing templates to fit our specific needs, automating processes, and keeping track of tasks more easily.

 ### 23. Highly Effective Once Set Up, Versatile for Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eli C. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think ClickUp is the best thing I've ever used for organization. It keeps me organized and lets me share tasks with other people in my office. I appreciate the flexibility it provides to change things around when I need to. It also allows me to work on projects that take more than one step. Additionally, I use ClickUp with all my AI, and it's connected to all kinds of AI things that happen automatically within ClickUp. After comparing different task management products, ClickUp was the clear winner for me, and I've even recommended it to many people.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I wish ClickUp was a little easier to set up. It took some time to get going, but once I did, it was wonderful. You have to figure out how to use it for yourself.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps me organized, lets me share tasks with others in my office, offers flexibility to change things as needed and supports multi-step projects.

 ### 24. Streamlined Workflow Management, Perfect for Small Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anum Q. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really appreciate ClickUp's ability to create separate projects, tasks, and then subtasks within that framework. The comment box feature is great, allowing me to write comments that are visible to all team members on a particular project. I also like how I can organize folders really well with different tags, especially in the board view. These features make my workflow very streamlined and organized. The view options in ClickUp are a plus, as I can look at the format in terms of a board view or a list view. The user interface being more interactive and intuitive makes it a lot more comfortable for us to work on ClickUp. Additionally, I'm using the free version of ClickUp for my smaller team, and it's working really well, fulfilling all my needs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I am satisfied with ClickUp and do not have any negative feedback

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps all team members updated on project progress, streamlining task assignments. It reduces email and chat distractions. It solves issues with WhatsApp group noise, helping to focus on work.

 ### 25. Simple and powerful, easy to customize.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriele V. | Marketplaces Implementation Lead | e-commerce API Integration | Custom Tools Design & Automation, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Simple to use as a user and fairly simple to set up as admin, then operation wise what I like the most is the possibility to create relationships with basically everything within clickup avoiding data and process silos, linking tasks to each other or to Knowledge pages or creating tasks from text. Custom fields and columns can be very powerful especially when deploying formulas and logical conditions.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The hard cap for custom created fields sometimes can hit you in the middle of a project.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping everything organized and in one place without jumping from system to system, project management , task tracking and documents/knowledgebase pages all in the same place.

 ### 26. Centralizes Team Management with Some Cost Concerns

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davood K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage my team, projects, and business. The UI/UX is easy to work with and doesn't confuse me, helping me focus on what's important without wasting time. The group chat inside ClickUp is amazing; we used to rely on Slack and go back and forth, but now we discuss everything within ClickUp. Plus, with the AI agent, we can transform conversations into tasks, which helps scope features or changes seamlessly. Everything is connected and in one place. I also find having clear docs in ClickUp life-saving. The setup of ClickUp was easy with no issues. We use integrations like Google Calendar, and ClickUp MCP heavily in IDEs, which lets us manage tasks and docs and read them while programming with our AI model, making it very helpful. I switched from Jira and Leaner to ClickUp and I'm glad I did it. We moved away from Slack due to high costs and lack of integration because ClickUp's chat and communication capabilities are life-saving.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think what I don't like is the price, maybe because we are a small team and live in Turkey. I feel like we are paying for seats and we deserve to have all AI features for free, especially with cheap models that exist. Another issue is the history of chats that is not available for team plans like ours, and it is really expensive. So overall, I am not satisfied only with the price. I believe ClickUp needs to give some kindness to small teams like us, especially ones like us that have been using ClickUp for years.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, communication, and automations that save time. Its group chats replaced Slack, and AI turns conversations into tasks, streamlining our workflow.

 ### 27. Feature-Rich But Performance Issues

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seppe d. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the option to choose how you view things per user in ClickUp. Person A might prefer a KanBan view while person B opts for a list view for tasks. It's really nice having different ways to visualize the same content based on your preference. I also appreciate the Slack and GitHub integrations. We message a lot in Slack and it's nice when I forward a task link, it renders a preview with a title and short description, making communication smoother. On the GitHub side, pasting a link into a ClickUp task provides a neat preview, which is pretty handy as well.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is often buggy and slow, and it takes up way too many CPU and RAM resources, which is frustrating for a task management tool. The AI features are pushed too often, becoming annoying. There are frequent influxes of new features and tools that often get in the way or break existing functionalities. UI changes cause frustration, and we experience issues with the 'live editor' where content doesn't save, leading to repeated work. I frequently encounter problems like tasks being broken and out of order after updates. There are UI bugs, such as slow scrolling in a Kanban view, and difficulties dragging tasks between columns. It seems like a lot of bugs just persist.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp compiles projects, tasks, and documentation in one place, letting us track tasks linked to projects and aligned with larger goals.

 ### 28. Keeps Our Team’s Work in One Place and Always Up to Date

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuela C. | Head of Business Development & Client Relations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It helps me and my team with day-to-day tasks and project follow-up. We keep all our work in one place, connected with Slack, email, and other tools. It’s incredible how much it helps us stay up to date with everything we have to do.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some prices for special features are beyond my means, so I can’t rely on all the tools the system offers.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us organize tasks and projects by priority and keep everything in order, with multiple features that make our work easier. It’s also easy to integrate with the tools we use on a daily basis. It was really easy to implement across our team, and all the members are used to it now. Overall, it gives us a standard way of working and makes communication much easier.

 ### 29. Streamlined Task Management with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam d.

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for work and find it incredibly helpful that many of our previous paper-based lists have been transferred to this platform, making it much easier to triage and assign tasks. I like the flexibility ClickUp offers to track and complete tasks with ease, which allows more time for collaboration and focus on the team, ultimately increasing our productivity without adding extra load to the days. I'm a fan of the forms, lists, docs, and the task assignment capabilities that ClickUp offers. In our business, forms are particularly useful for raising tickets, as they provide a single access point for the team to review and triage tickets, making task assignment to the most suitable team member an easy next step.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some of the automations could be better and possibly present better. Not really able to explain further.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ClickUp makes task management easier, transitioning from paper lists to digital tasks. It helps us triage and assign tasks easily. The forms, lists, and docs features enhance coordination by providing a single access point for raising and reviewing tickets.

 ### 30. Clear UI and Flexible All-in-One Platform for Project Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karthick P. | GTM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The Best part of the ClickUp tool is it has clear UI and UX capability any new user can understand this project management tool easily and deploy it soon

ClickUp brings all functions like task, docs, goals, timelines and collaboration all togethers in one platform instead of choosing multiple platform for multiple tools

It is pretty much flexible tool optimize the entire project workflows

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some features, settings and customizations options are over helming for the new user and still it is learning curve steep

Some time the user interface feels cluttered and performance slown down while working in complex projects

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralized everything in single platform its shows the better visibility across all team regarding task, documentation and goal tracking and make communication between team in easier way

The Biggest benefit for me is i can split more complicated big project into small task and track the progress visually and set deadline towards for process improvement

 ### 31. Highly Customizable, Perfect for Complex Lists

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody B. | Student Mentor Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize, prioritize, and execute my chaotic work to-do list. It's like everything I would imagine if I were to build my own software for managing complexity in my work. I really appreciate the customization options that let me tailor my workflow and make sense of my chaotic list, helping me prioritize and keep it organized. I think the organization is laid out perfectly for my use, is intuitive, and extremely powerful. I love the ability to customize the status workflow and create custom views. It's awesome how you can manually control and prioritize items in a 'Personal Priorities' section, which gives complete control over prioritization. I give it a 10/10 and recommend it highly to others.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the search feature loads slower than I'd like. And I do sort of wish you could customize the statuses that are available based on task type (People having different statuses versus tasks). Also it would be great if you could have dates other than start and due dates appear in calendar views (adding a custom date field that could appear in the calendar). It took a moderate amount of time, not super long, but not quick either. And it had a learning curve. You really have to be thoughtful in how you design it for your needs. I think it is not a super approachable solution but your everyday user, but for people needing the level of complexity, customization and power tools that it offers, it's perfect. Perhaps I could see having more of a tutorial process at the beginning or offering videos showing how various people set it up for different uses, with considerations to think through shared.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage my complex to-do list, customizing workflows to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently. It creates an organized and coherent system, empowering complete control over work priorities with powerful, intuitive tools.

 ### 32. Highly Customizable, Great for Sales Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Che S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp serves as a single source of truth for sales leads, captured and managed throughout the sales process. The ease of use and flexible customisation allows me to tailor it to our specific needs and integrate externally. It supports excellent task management for the marketing team. I'm able to enhance the user experience for my sales team while setting up intricate business logic, automation, and API integrations to and from our website, with advanced scripting in Google Apps Script. The integration with our Webflow website and Google Apps Script for the quoting system works well. I'm really happy to have moved from another software to ClickUp because it includes great external integration and is better supported.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Due to the flexibility, there is some visual clutter in the UI that can be overwhelming for new users. Some unused features cannot be hidden from view for everyday users. Automations still have some limitations; I fairly regularly hit a limitation of what can be done in this regard. It is deep, which also makes it dense, and that can lead to decision paralysis when it feels like there are 15 different ways you could do one thing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp provides a single source of truth for sales leads and excellent task management for the marketing team.

 ### 33. Flexible for Complex Projects but Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Brand Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp can be as simple or as complex as I need it to be. It doesn’t flinch at my complex thinking and ways of managing big projects, and for the small straightforward projects, it has no problem being simple, too. As a brand building agency, we see projects that span from super complex with long runways that have sub-projects and tangents, to one-off, straightforward executions of services. ClickUp is amiable for both types of projects. This is nice because it means we don't need multiple solutions for different project types.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is steep, and help is 1,000% DIY. The initial setup was very time-intensive, requiring my own investment of hours to learn the platform and an abnormal number of hours to onboard each team member one-on-one. It's not intuitive, so it requires a lot of assumption rewiring.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep multifaceted, multilayered projects on track. It adapts to my need for handling complex and simple projects, so I don't need multiple solutions for different project types.

 ### 34. Integral for Business Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberta M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love ClickUp's 'My Tasks' page and 'Inbox.' These features let me plan my day, keep track of my to-do list, and easily coordinate with my team. 'My Tasks' helps me stay organized and focused on my priorities, and the 'Inbox' is a great central hub for most of my team's communication within ClickUp. It's awesome how the Inbox allows me to respond quickly without having to search through the platform, and it feels light, fast, and efficient. Overall, these are the primary tools I use for my business, and everything else in ClickUp supports these two 'dashboards.'

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There is a long delay between receiving a Chat message and getting an email notification about it. I wish those notifications came in more quickly. I wish the presentation of Custom Fields on the Tasks was more appealing. Custom Fields work very well in List View, but when I actually click into a Task, I find them very small and difficult to work with. I often fall to the temptation of putting important information in the Task Description, rather than Custom Fields, because it's easier for me to read and manipulate. Finally, I'd love a way to link Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms directly into Spaces from the left-hand side menu. I'd like to link these in just like a list, form, or ClickUp Doc, and then be redirected to the Google Doc itself. This would be a hugely powerful improvement for our team.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage business functions, track tasks, projects, leads, and customer accounts, chat with my team, and keep organized. It helps ensure nothing is forgotten, serves as a project record, and fosters team accountability.

 ### 35. Transformative Dashboard, Challenging Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tori G. | Brand Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find the dashboard function in ClickUp completely transformative for my work as a brand director. It's like my North Star, giving me a comprehensive view of all our offices, which helps me feel more at ease even when I'm not working. I also find the chat video call function with AI notes to be incredibly efficient. It ensures that my team can meet, access notes, and keep our conversations organized easily. The task dashboard is crucial for organizing and prioritizing brand deliverables, making it easier to navigate all the steps involved in completing a brand sequentially. The AI notes within chat also help ensure that everyone stays on the same page throughout projects. These features are super valuable for collaborating and ensuring clarity about creative deliverables.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The initial setup was so challenging. I watched hours of YouTube walkthroughs and it still didn't feel intuitive. We tried 3 different ways to organize tasks before we found what works for us. I wish there was a way to visually denote each task as related to a specific client. Currently, we add their client acronym to each task. We don't add it to subtasks and it gets confusing. The mobile view is not easy. I used to work from my phone 100% and it was so challenging. I recommend less horizontal views and more vertical.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp's dashboard is my North Star, helping me overview all offices and prioritize brand deliverables. The AI notes in chat keep team collaboration clear and tasks on track. It simplifies the sequential steps in branding projects.

 ### 36. Powerful Solution with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter R. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that ClickUp has allowed me to reduce and continue to reduce the amount of tools that I need. I don't need a meeting notetaker anymore, and it integrates with all the tools I'm already using, which makes things simpler. It has docs, it has chat, and it has even replaced Slack for me. I love the fact that I'm always able to simplify my tech stack more and more and more.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is a beast. It's not a simple tool like a to-do list or Apple reminders; it has so many tools and complexities that it's overwhelming. I've recommended it to clients, and they struggle to adopt it because of its many features, bells and whistles, and most don't want to pay for onboarding support to navigate it. AI and secret agents are expensive. I spend a lot on OpenAI and Claude but find value in those. However, with ClickUp's secret agents, I question their worth, as I could use other services like Claude for similar features without spending too much. The pricing structure feels like everything is an upsell, making it feel like the app is trying to nickel and dime me. Every new feature involves a paywall or an upgrade, which gets annoying and might eventually become too expensive. The initial setup was horrible; it was a nightmare with stuff getting lost and no clear strategy. It was overwhelming until connecting with ZenPilot provided a framework that helped manage ClickUp.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us stay focused and clear the chaos of project management. It lets us track everything asynchronously, reducing the need for meetings. It also keeps me motivated by highlighting my top priorities and rewarding me for task completion.

 ### 37. Streamlined Operations, Needs Better Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariah P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp surfaces the workloads of our team and helps us track who is associated with who. The dashboards and documents are quite useful, and I find the searchability of our company Wiki, which we've transferred to ClickUp, alongside other data and tasks, to be pretty valuable. Additionally, I appreciate that, despite having a lot of operational and business complexities in our specific use case, the setup was fairly simple for me as an experienced user.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think that it could improve custom fields and relationship links. We have a lot of client information. We're basically creating projects for specific clients and we don't have a great way to get all of that information into every single task every time. We do have an account record task that everything is linked to, but the information from the custom fields in that base task isn't transferred into the overall projects, and that is a negative for us.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for business operations and task management. It surfaces workloads, helps track team associations, and offers valuable searchability with dashboards and documents.

 ### 38. Robust and Intuitive, But Watch Out for Paywalls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaim L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate ClickUp's extremely robust and pretty intuitive nature. There's just a lot you can do with the software, even though we only use about 5% of it. The initial setup was very easy. We mostly use the chat and task management features and both of those are very good. The AI add on is very good but pricey. We had a free trial so it got used a little but then they wanted to upcharge. The search feature is very good and has come in handy many times when looking for a document or a specific chat.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like that there are a lot of upcharges. I pay a decent amount to use it but whenever I try to do a little more I hit a paywall and it is asking me to upgrade.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solved our communication issues across departments and provided a much-needed task management system.

 ### 39. ClickUp Keeps Our Team Organized with Flexible Views and Handy Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love being able to see my day/week/month at a glance. There's a ton of different options for viewing so, it can fit any person on your team. I prefer the board view, but colleagues find the list view more helpful. I like being able to integrate Slack, Google, and some other programs that we use into each task (as needed). I've never run into an issue that we couldn't figure out. There are priority markers that give each task a rank and help get us to the finishline every time. ClickUp is literally open on my desktop all day, every day. I don't know how I'd be organized without it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

As a board user, I feel like the board view has less functionality than I need. When it comes to moving things around and working with tasks and subtasks, I just wish there were more options available.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for an agency, so we have a lot of clients with a wide range of needs. Being able to sort by client, project type, project duration, tags, urgency, and more is incredibly helpful. As a designer, I’m a very visual person, so having everything we could need just one click away is a real game-changer.

 ### 40. Intuitive Workflow Management with Valuable AI Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alden A. | Life Insurance Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp to be very easy to navigate and it operates in a very systematized data tree workflow. Its customizable pipelines have been very helpful for us. I also enjoy the ease of utilizing some of the AI features that have been coming out, helping us better articulate what we need to do by incorporating AI language assistance before writing out descriptions and updating workflows automatically. At a basic level, I use the writing assistant quite a lot to help flesh out my thoughts and ideas, and the workflow automations are very helpful. The initial setup was very easy, even though there's a bit of a training curve for those unfamiliar with a database system like this.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

na

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp as a workspace for operation workflows and resolving issues. Its systematized navigation, customizable pipelines, and AI features help articulate tasks and automate workflow descriptions, making it a valuable tool.

 ### 41. Streamlined Team Visibility with Communication Clarity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ingrid H. | Event Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for my event management work and it helps me manage my own to-do list while keeping track of what my team is working on. ClickUp breaks down communication silos, allowing me to understand project updates and team struggles without having to sit in meetings. The 'My Tasks' card is essential for managing my daily tasks and monitoring where I fall behind. I find the inbox feature extremely helpful for clearing messages and staying updated on tasks I'm a watcher on, without cluttering my 'My Tasks' list.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While the 'blank canvas' to start with is great for customization, it also gives a lot of freedom for people I work with to start following their own systems and creating confusion in the process. I wish there was a way to have a template of work that everyone can follow, and not allowing the customization freedom to all teams in order for everyone to work with the same system. It was quite a complicated process, especially because we are a large company with complicated projects and various teams with different needs. We ended up hiring consultants to help us set up ClickUp.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp breaks down communication silos, allowing me to track project updates and team struggles without meetings. It manages my to-do list and keeps me updated on team progress.

 ### 42. Effortlessly Customizable and Team-Friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raphael A. | Product Manager - Broadband, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is easily customizable, which makes it easier to adjust to our specific needs, unlike Jira that I used in the past. It allows my team to collaborate easily across different functions. I appreciate the possibility to simply create lists, nest issues in different lists, and share common custom fields. These features enable us to give specific input and scale our tickets in particular spaces. Additionally, I find it very valuable that ClickUp can quickly adapt to the needs of different teams or units, and if needed, we can easily share configurations across teams.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

As a prior JIRA user, I still miss the way how EPIC were leveraged and how issues could be related to a specific EPIC without having to create subtasks. I had issues with showing closed subtasks in a task and could not easily find the toggle or option to show them

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to coordinate my cross-functional teams, enhancing task management. It's customizable, easy to learn compared to Jira, and facilitates collaboration across technical and business teams. It integrates well with tools like Miro and Figma, enables handling complex initiatives effectively.

 ### 43. Intuitive Task Management, Ideal for Collaborative Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophie H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp very intuitive to use, and I love the ability to create different views and lists for projects, so each team in our company can create the ideal list for them and organize it accordingly. It's easy to work on with clients and share the same lists and to-dos. The flexibility in views supports our team's productivity and collaboration heavily, allowing us to create lists for our clients while maintaining a different one just for us within the same project. There's no worry about losing track or things being disorganized. The initial setup of ClickUp was very easy, with no issues at all. I also appreciate the potential for integration with API and AI tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Connection with Claude (together with Obsidian) in order to automize things (Tasks being created, description is being filled automatically etc.)

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps organize larger projects into smaller tasks, provides a broad overview, and avoids losing track by sharing project lists with clients. It's intuitive and allows each team to create customized views, enhancing collaboration without disorganization worries.

 ### 44. A Complete and Intuitive Tool for Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier P. | Quality Engineer Sr, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the interface, it is very intuitive and has a perfect combination between minimalist and complete. In its free version, it offers many options that other similar software only offer in the premium version. ClickUp is quite complete, the interface is pleasant and facilitates understanding. It was also very simple and interactive to set it up at the beginning. Additionally, the free tools that ClickUp offers make my work considerably easier. I definitely love it, to the point that I constantly recommend it to my colleagues to improve their skills and work performance.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Maybe it's because I haven't reviewed it in detail, but one of the possible improvements would be to facilitate the methodology for tracking actions. It seems easy to enter many tasks in ClickUp, but in the end, I don't follow up on them. I would like the tool to help me more with notifications or special functions to enforce that follow-up, since the dates are marked in red, but there is nothing that helps the user. Sometimes I focus too much on the tasks that are in progress and neglect the pending ones. I would like it to be a bit smarter, like automatic reminders about what's about to expire, if a task has been completed, or if the date needs to be updated.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves task management and prioritization problems, helping me avoid work stress by keeping my to-dos in order, structuring my projects, and managing any open actions related to my work.

 ### 45. Central Hub for Projects with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chinedum C. | Operations Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage the day-to-day operations of our business and to handle both internal and client projects. I like that all our tasks, projects, and operations are structured in one platform, serving as a single source of truth. I appreciate how ClickUp supports operations, client delivery, and where our wiki and internal processes live. I value the level of customization ClickUp offers, which is great for managing tasks more efficiently. Additionally, I like using it with other tools, like Google Drive and Google Calendar, to keep everything connected in one space. Also, ClickUp facilitates our internal team communication, which has helped us to stop using other tools like Slack.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One of the things I feel that could be improved is the AI usage. You have to pay separately to be able to use the AI capabilities, which shouldn't be so. If you pay for the third tier, you should be able to have access to the AI, not having to sell that separately as a package, which doesn't make sense.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp serves as a single source of truth for all our tasks, projects, and operations.

 ### 46. All-In-One Tool That Outclasses Jira and other softwares with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeyrel C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think ClickUp is one of the greatest, if not the best, all-in-one software so far. I replaced Jira with ClickUp because Jira wasn't providing all the features and functionalities that ClickUp offers. The ClickUp Brain is amazing and makes my work smoother and faster compared to when I was using Jira and other management tools. I also appreciate that ClickUp has everything I need, including AI, which helps me organize my workload and keep my documents aligned. ClickUp is faster, with AI tools that make our work more efficient. The initial setup was super easy, and we didn't run into any issues, which is a big plus. Overall, I highly recommend ClickUp for everything, and I even encourage my team to use it to improve their abilities. I would definitely give ClickUp a 10 for recommending it to a friend or colleague. It has excellent management tools and features that make communication with clients, like video calls or recording videos to summarize discussions and submit tickets, seamless when working with a development team.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think one thing that could be improved in ClickUp is the interface. There are so many functionalities, and I feel there should be a way to minimize how the app looks at this point.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize workloads and assign tickets, making management smoother and faster. It has AI and features like ClickUp Brain, enhancing efficiency. We switched from Jira due to its comprehensive functionality, aiding in communication and document alignment.

 ### 47. Not just for team organization: Automations, data store, and integrations.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey S. | Lead Product Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like ClickUp for keeping our team organized. It's great for parsing out different aspects of our multiple businesses and ensuring that everyone knows what they're working on, where they need to be, and when. I also appreciate how ClickUp is useful for storing data points, which helps with automations that we run in other software. It's a fantastic place for storing IDs and client names, acting as both a project management system and a CRM. The switch from Asana to ClickUp provided us with a much better bird's eye view of projects and improved customization options, which we needed. The setup process was pretty seamless and easy, allowing us to migrate projects and get back up and running fairly quickly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The speed is something I've noticed. Even though I know they've been working on it a lot, when working with a lot of data or records, the load time and speed from one board to the next can cost time. It also takes a little bit of time moving from one folder to another and finding the right projects. Page loading, especially the number of tasks, can get slow, particularly after working in a board for a long time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize the team, manage multiple businesses individually, and keep everyone aware of tasks and schedules. It also stores data for automations and works as a project management system and CRM.

 ### 48. Advanced Efficiency with Challenging Learning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel L. | Proprietário, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the time tracking feature in ClickUp because I can know exactly which task I'm working on and what I'm spending the most time on. This helps me see where I'm being most productive and where I can improve. I also appreciate the integration it has between the screens and the API, as this allows integration with the automations I already use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

His web interface is very confusing, it has a lot of information. There should be a simpler interface, something where the most inexperienced user can start using the system and then advance in features. Today I think there are too many features, and this makes the product a bit more expensive, and most users probably don't even use 10 percent of the system.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for time tracking, knowing exactly what task I'm working on and dedicating more time to. It centralizes and organizes my tasks, preventing me from losing sight of anything.

 ### 49. Robust Tool with Powerful Features, Needs iPad App Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke W. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate that ClickUp is a very robust tool. We're learning more about how to utilize it every day. It effectively keeps track of our company knowledge, capturing and sharing information across the company rather than letting knowledge reside in just a few people's heads. The setup was successful for us, partly because we used pre-built templates from a consultant, and it aligned well with our business needs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The iPad app is not what we were hoping for. The user interface is clunky, and the workers we've assigned to use it can't figure it out. Even as someone who uses ClickUp every day, I struggled to use the iPad app.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for knowledge management and tasking. It keeps track of our company knowledge, making it accessible and shareable across the company. It keeps our administration team on track and aware of active projects.

 ### 50. ClickUp: From Task Management to Project Governance Operating System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilaria A. | Platform and Compliance Manager | Business-IT Governance and Delivery, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp allows me to manage complex projects, operational workflows, incidents, risks, deadlines, documentation, and reporting in a single workspace. I especially appreciate how much I can customize everything for different audiences, including operational teams, project managers, and executive stakeholders. In complex delivery environments, ClickUp helps me create visibility, structure, and traceability across tasks, dependencies, priorities, and ongoing updates. It’s not just a task management tool; it feels like a flexible operating system for project governance.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is extremely flexible and powerful, but when you start using it for more advanced project governance — custom fields, multiple views, automations, dashboards, dependencies, AI summaries and executive reporting — it can become difficult to understand the best design pattern. So, for me, the main challenge is not the technology itself, but the gap between ClickUp’s potential and the practical guidance needed to use it effectively in complex project/program management scenarios.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me centralize and structure complex project work in one place. It lets me manage tasks, deadlines, ownership, dependencies, incidents, risks, documentation, and weekly updates without having to spread information across too many disconnected tools. The main benefit for me is improved visibility and awareness.

It also helps me move from informal follow-up to a more structured governance model, using custom fields, views, and dashboards that support different levels of detail—operational execution, project monitoring, and executive communication.

Overall, ClickUp is solving a huge fragmentation problem for me by turning scattered project information into a clear, actionable workflow.
