## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. Easy-to-Use Interface Keeping Me Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen J. | Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find the user interface easy to use, especially the search feature. I don’t lose anything anymore, and I feel much more organized at work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I have trouble finding the reports I need to track my tasks and my business. I wish there were more pre-built reporting templates available for me to choose from, so it would be easier to get the information I’m looking for.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps me organized without the overhead of managing the organization itself. Its built-in workflows mirror the way work actually moves through a team — from one person to the next, at the right time. When I complete a task, I can instantly assign the next step to whoever owns it, keeping projects moving forward without delays or dropped handoffs. It's the kind of tool that quietly saves you hours every week.

 ### 2. Automates Workflows Perfectly, Needs Better Notification Reliability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sayed Shadman S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate the automation features and the ability to build workflows in ClickUp. It makes internal and external communication, as well as any departmental processes, easier to navigate. The multiple connectors and easy implementation options make my work smoother when setting up workflows or automation. The initial setup was easy for most of us, and although navigation was a bit tricky at first, everyone adapted quickly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Well, even though ClickUp can do a lot of things, there are some lackings. For example, the notifications don't work properly; we miss multiple texts or mentions even though the settings are there. I suppose this case applies to web browsers, not apps. Also, the app itself should be more optimized, as it gets slow time to time. Sure, mainly loading time; jumping from one channel to another or one doc to another takes time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps everything in one place, automating emails to categorize and send easily. It helps me track tasks and simplify communication and processes with its options and connectors.

 ### 3. ClickUp’s Flexibility and Automations Make It a True Productivity Command Center

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra C. | Event Producer, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve tried a lot of project management tools, but ClickUp stands out because of its incredible flexibility. It’s not just a task manager; it’s a complete digital program.
Main reasons why I love it:

- Total Customization: I love that I can view my work however I want—whether it’s a List, a Board, or a Calendar. It adapts to my brain, rather than forcing me to work a specific way.

- The "All-in-One" Factor: I don't have to jump between five different apps to get one project done.

- Automation Power: It handles the repetitive "busy work" for me. Setting up automations to move tasks or notify team members has saved me hours of manual updates.

ClickUp gives me a level of visibility and control over my workflow that other platforms just can't match. It’s more than a tool; it’s my productivity command center.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I Dislike About ClickUp:

The Steep Learning Curve: Because it has so many features, it can be overwhelming for beginners. It takes a significant amount of time to set everything up correctly, and the interface can feel "cluttered" or messy.

Mobile App Limitations: The mobile experience isn't nearly as smooth as the desktop version. It’s hard to navigate complex views on a small screen, making it less effective for working on the go.

Over-Engineering: Sometimes, having "everything" is too much. You can spend more time tweaking the settings and customizing your dashboard than actually doing your real work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems ClickUp Solves & How They Benefit You
1. The "App Overload" Problem
The Problem: Most teams jump between Slack for chat, Trello for tasks, Google Docs for writing, and Excel for tracking. This leads to "context switching," which kills focus.
The Benefit to You: By centralizing everything, you save mental energy. You don’t have to remember where a specific file or conversation is—if it’s work-related, it’s in ClickUp.

2. The "Who is doing what?" Problem
The Problem: In many setups, it's hard to see the "big picture" or know if a project is actually on track without asking five people for updates.
The Benefit to You: With Dashboards and Everything View, you get instant clarity. It benefits you by providing a "source of truth," so you can spot bottlenecks before they become emergencies.

3. The Repetitive Task Problem
The Problem: Manually moving tasks, sending reminder emails, and updating statuses is a waste of time.
The Benefit to You: Automations act like a personal assistant. They handle the boring stuff, allowing you to spend your time on high-value work that actually requires your brain.

4. The "One Size Fits All" Problem
The Problem: Most tools force you to work their way (e.g., only Boards or only Lists).
The Benefit to You: Because it is Highly Customizable, it scales with you. Whether you are managing a simple grocery list or a complex product launch, the tool morphs to fit your specific needs at that moment.

 ### 4. Streamlined Workflows with ClickUp's Super Agents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for creating projects with tasks, and it helps me keep track of due dates, comments, and workload. I absolutely love the super agents that prepare email drafts for daily updates on projects for my clients. This has made it easier as I no longer need to check every task manually. Email notifications keep me informed about any movements with my tasks, enabling me to take action promptly. I also like how seamlessly it integrates with Harvest for time tracking. Overall, I've been using ClickUp for 4 years and really like it, especially now that our plan includes AI, which I'm excited to explore. I would rate ClickUp a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

When I select several tasks for a bulk action, there's a black bar with the options that sometimes blocks the last item of the list. That is really annoying.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to track due dates, manage comments and workload, and send project update emails efficiently with the super agents. Email notifications keep me updated on action items without manually checking each task.

 ### 5. Streamlined Team Coordination with Robust Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott P. | Director of Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp allows me to see tasks, due dates, and collaboration all in one screen, and I can also easily flip between different tasks or projects with all the details laid out. It provides great visibility and information from a nice, plain screen. I find it valuable that I can add or remove people from tasks or projects instantly. It's also seamless in its integration with HubSpot CRM and Slack. The setup was very easy, thanks to our account executive and the onboarding team, making meetings with the ClickUp team seamless.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The AI agent in ClickUp, which records meetings, doesn't do a good job. It has seen improvements, but still could be better. Also, it would be nice to edit videos recorded within ClickUp directly, instead of having to export and edit them externally.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves communication issues and helps us know task status in the queue. It allows us to easily add or remove stakeholders, enhancing project management by ensuring due dates are handled at the right time.

 ### 6. ClickUp Turns Complex Strategy Into Scalable, Repeatable Systems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurence J. | Contracts & Compliance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I find most useful about ClickUp is its ability to bring structure to complexity. I use it all the time to design clear, scalable systems that replace scattered emails, informal processes, and reactive work. I use it for daily task tracking and also for building organized, repeatable workflows with defined accountability, visibility, and governance. ClickUp allows me to translate strategic thinking into operational structure. The biggest upside for me is leverage, scalability and integrations. ClickUp allows me to turn ideas, processes, and best practices into concrete systems that can be replicated, automated, and even productized.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Honestly, the only feature that feels unnecessary for me is the AI image generation. I can see how it may be useful for other users, but in my work it does not add value. Everything else genuinely solves real operational problems for me. The main downside is pricing and adoption. When guests were free, one person could build the system and the rest of the team could participate without increasing cost. With members now being billed, small organizations may limit how many staff use ClickUp. That restricts collaboration and can weaken workflows that depend on multiple contributors. Another challenge is usability. While some find it intuitive, most teams require onboarding and discipline to use it effectively. Not everyone operates with the same level of structure, so without strong adoption it can become an additional administrative layer instead of the operational backbone it is meant to be

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me solve the problem of fragmented operational oversight across business development, contracts, and compliance. I use it to structure our leads and opportunities pipeline so visibility is clear from prospect to award. I use it to manage contract lifecycle management, from drafting to signature to execution and follow up. I also use it for compliance tracking, especially to monitor project deliverables against specific requirements and deadlines. Without a centralized system, these processes would live in emails, spreadsheets, and individual follow ups. ClickUp allows me to formalize them, create accountability, and maintain traceability across the entire lifecycle.

 ### 7. Versatile Tool with Some Learning Curves

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how you can track tasks quickly and easily and efficiently. You're able to communicate within the task, link things from your drive into the task, and create videos as well. I like some of the automated processes that are built into it when you complete a task. And I really like the diversity and ability to switch between board types, whether it's Kanban, list view, or calendar, whatever you're looking for. The communication element is outstanding. I'm able to communicate up and down very quickly with staff members who support the work or work for me or for people who I report to.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's not as intuitive when you start using it as I think it could or should be. It's hard for me to remember the steps I need to take to permanently change a view.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management. It helps track tasks efficiently, communicate quickly within tasks, link files, and automate processes. The diverse views like board, list, and calendar enhance task management and quick communication helps in organizing labor-intensive tasks effectively.

 ### 8. Enhances Project Management, Needs Some Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emme B. | Senior Graphic Designer, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the task statuses in ClickUp that keep me organized and make others aware of my progress. They help me figure out what to work on next and remind me of where I left off. I also love the task lists, as they help me determine my priorities and assess my workload, empowering me to seek help or manage deadlines more effectively. Despite poor initial training, I found ClickUp very navigable, which allowed me to learn it on my own as we started using it more.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I've recently been having trouble with some tasks not showing up in certain task lists. It all started when our project management team started using Spaces, but I can't figure out what's going wrong and neither can ClickUp when I reach out. I think enforcing the differences between My Tasks, Assigned to Me, and Today & Overdue lists would be beneficial. It might be beneficial to know how Lists are pulling in tasks and be able to edit that. Right now you can just Group tasks and reorganize Subtasks. I miss when my Home page was just My Tasks! My training was terrible, I was only taught how to login and change my notification preferences.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me prioritize and organize my tasks, keeps me informed about updates, and maintains a history of progress. The task statuses remind me where I left off, and task lists help manage my workload, empowering me to ask for help or decline tasks.

 ### 9. Efficient Checklist Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan F. | Evening Operations Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate the customizable tasks and the quick visual of a list of what needs to get done. By creating groups of lists for a project in a template form, it assists with quickly selecting the tasks needed for each project since not every project requires all of the steps or tasks for implementation. Additionally, the checklist management feature was a key reason for switching from Excel Spreadsheets to ClickUp, and the initial setup was very easy once the checklist was established. ClickUp helps keep the timeline up-to-date and reduces the need for update meetings, which is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Once a project ends they are placed in an archive folder. The sorting functions of those folders are limited and instead of us having A to Z, we like to have them set by closing date and list which fiscal and quarter. Also, make it so the user can select their view and not change it for the group that is working on projects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep timelines up-to-date without frequent meetings. It offers customizable tasks and quick visual lists, making it easy to create necessary task groups for projects.

 ### 10. Flexible All-in-One Work Management with Powerful Views, Automations, and Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praveen K. | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about Click Up is its flexibility, work management, and all-in-one approach. It lets us customize statuses, workflows, and fields to match our exact process, instead of forcing us to adapt to rigid structures. I also appreciate the multiple views—List, Boards, and Gantt—since different team members prefer different ways to visualize work.

The automation feature is another big plus because it helps reduce repetitive manual tasks. Another standout feature is the Dashboard, which provides real-time visibility into project progress, workload, and distribution, and supports better planning and decision-making. The initial setup was straightforward, especially for basic task management.

Customer support is very responsive and helpful whenever we need assistance. I use Click Up daily for task tracking, sprint planning, reporting, and collaboration. Click Up also integrates well with other tools, such as communication platforms and productivity apps.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is a powerful, feature-rich platform, but I feel there are a few areas that could be improved. Performance can occasionally slow down in heavily customized workspaces or when working with large datasets, which can interrupt the overall experience.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized test and task management
Clear workflow and status tracking
Automation and reduced manual follow ups
Dashboard reporting for stakeholders

 ### 11. Easy to Use Tool with Amazing Customization and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica C. | VP of Creative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp easy to use and easy to customize. I also like that I can connect it with Google Drive and my calendar. The AI features are quite helpful for automating processes, which really frees up my time to focus on bigger tasks. Plus, the project management tools are a great help. I also appreciate ClickUp's support team. They were very supportive and assisted us with any customizations we initially didn't know how to set up.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing that I can think of is updates. Sometimes we do upvote some features, but they take a while to be implemented. For example, several users upvoted subfolders for almost a year now. But it finally got implemented. So even though it may take some time, they always listen to their users.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for managing project tasks and tracking team productivity, making our workflow more efficient. It helps me connect with Google Drive and my calendar, while AI features automate processes, freeing up time for bigger tasks.

 ### 12. Highly Customizable, Streamlines Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalia L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp incredibly user-friendly and appreciate how customizable it is, allowing me to have endless ways to use it. I particularly enjoy the comment assignment feature on tasks, which helps keep people accountable, as they receive an email and can see all assigned comments on the dashboard. Sometimes, I even assign them to myself, making it easy to track. Another feature I like is the ability to choose if a card is a task, bug, or milestone, which simplifies tracking and billing, especially since it helps us decide whether an issue should be billed to the customer or covered by us if it's a bug. I'm also currently experimenting with the brain feature.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Two things so far: 1) When connecting sheets or documents to a list, I would like to be able to make changes there and for those changes to sync with the document. Now, I make changes but the document doesn't get updated (for example, Google Sheets). 2) I've used the brain feature for 1 day, but voice-to-text would be a game changer.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for tracking projects in one spot and find everything like estimated time, task status, and due date. It's user-friendly and customizable, keeping my team accountable with comment assignments and differentiating tasks, bugs, or milestones aids billing.

 ### 13. User-Friendly Project Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp provides clarity for our team, showing what needs to be done and when, along with all the steps involved. I find it user-friendly and appreciate that it's often updated and improved, with user feedback considered for new features. I value the native time tracking and the ability to create custom fields, which helps us build reporting dashboards for forecasting and understanding profitability. I also appreciate the integration with Google Calendars, which lets me see workload and meetings in one place. ClickUp is more affordable and user-friendly than our previous solution, Wrike. The setup was easy, and the support team is very responsive and helpful whenever we encounter issues.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

We've created custom views at the 'Everything' space level that our team uses to see their daily task lists, since the native 'My Tasks' view isn't customizable. It would be nice if there was more control over the baked-in areas within the tool. Also, the mobile app is very basic, not very user-friendly, and difficult to use. The mobile app doesn't allow you to do as much as the desktop app or browser version, it's difficult to log time and there are certain things you can't see at all.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp gives our team clarity on tasks, offers user-friendly features, and supports custom fields for better organization. Native time tracking helps manage workload efficiently. However, the 'My Tasks' view lacks customization, and the mobile app is basic and hard to use.

 ### 14. Powerful for Project Organization, But AI Needs Clarity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriela P. | Paid Media Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp keeps everything organized, which is great especially as an agency managing multiple clients with different projects. We also use ClickUp to manage our internal administrative projects as the leadership team, so it really works throughout our processes. It's really easy for anyone to pick up and resume work or discover documents since everything lives on ClickUp. I enjoy how we can have external and internal ClickUp workspaces, allowing clients to access what they need, and it's easy to duplicate tasks and keep the final deliverables client-facing. Each client has their own folder, and within the folder, each channel like SEO and paid media is organized in separate lists, which helps in managing tasks efficiently. The integration with Slack is a game changer for us because most communication happens there, and with the Slack-ClickUp integration, requests can quickly be moved and created as ClickUp tasks or comments on existing tasks. This integration is quite useful in our work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It offers some AI features that seem interesting, but it's unclear how much you can use them or when you will run out of credits.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize everything, manage multiple clients, and projects. It makes handling internal administrative tasks and finding coverage easy. It's great for maintaining details for escalation and simplifies picking up tasks during vacations.

 ### 15. Great for Task Tracking and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how it honestly keeps my day from becoming chaotic. In my role as a Data Operations Executive at MEDPUSH, I’m constantly juggling media plans, invoices, and trackers and having everything in one place just makes life easier.

I really like how I can customize it based on how I actually work. The statuses, fields, and dashboards aren’t just “nice to have” they help me stay on top of details and avoid mistakes, especially when handling multiple plans at once.

Also, the way conversations happen directly inside tasks saves me a lot of time. I don’t have to dig through emails or chats to find context it’s all there.

Overall, it just makes my workflow smoother and less stressful, especially on busy days.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike about ClickUp is that it can get overwhelming, especially when you’re handling multiple tasks and spaces at once like I do in Data Operations at MEDPUSH. Sometimes there’s just too much going on too many clicks, too many views and it slows me down instead of helping.
Another thing is that not everything is always updated or reflected properly across tasks and summaries, so I still find myself double-checking trackers outside of ClickUp to make sure nothing is missed. That kind of defeats the purpose of having everything centralized.
Also, performance can be a bit laggy at times, especially when loading heavy tasks or switching between dashboards, which can be frustrating during busy periods.
Overall, while it’s a powerful tool, it sometimes feels more complex than it needs to be for day-to-day execution.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is mainly solving the issue of scattered workflows and lack of visibility across tasks. In my role as a Data Operations Executive at MEDPUSH, I deal with multiple media plans, invoices, and trackers at the same time, and before, it was easy for things to get lost across emails, Excel files, and chats.

With ClickUp, everything is centralized, so I can track the status of each task, see updates in real time, and quickly identify what needs my attention. It also helps reduce miscommunication since all discussions and approvals are documented within the task itself.

This benefits me by saving time, reducing errors in tracking, and making it easier to stay organized, especially when managing high volumes of data and tight deadlines.

 ### 16. Versatility and Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcos B. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the versatility in which I can configure folders and lists in ClickUp, as well as the possibilities for integrations and automations. The automations are especially useful because when a sprint changes stage, stakeholders are automatically notified by email, SharePoint, and WhatsApp. I also receive updates on my WhatsApp every three hours about what is in progress with each team member. The initial setup of ClickUp was simple, and since it is a very technical team, we had no difficulties in learning to use the new tool.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

custom fields could be configured by task type, making the cards less cluttered. The update of dependency deadlines should reflect in real-time on the list, instead of having to refresh the page with each change to know if everything was rescheduled correctly. And more possibilities for criteria in automations (for example, validate the folder name).

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes the view of the workload of all teams, integrates with other tools reducing my work, and centralizes tools that I would need to use separately.

 ### 17. Custom Fields and Workflows That Transformed Our Incident Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The custom fields and status workflows have completely changed how we track network incidents across multiple ISPs. Being able to create fields tailored to our environment—like affected ONT models, circuit IDs, or vendor escalation status—means all the critical troubleshooting context stays in one place. The dashboard views give our entire NOC team real-time visibility into open tickets without needing constant Slack updates, while the Slack integration still ensures urgent alerts reach us immediately.

What surprised me most was how much cleaner our documentation became. Instead of scattered notes across chat and email, we now have a searchable history of every fiber cut, DFS event, and customer escalation, with the relevant logs and resolutions attached.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile app experience is noticeably weaker than the desktop version. When I’m on-call and need to update incident tickets from my phone, the interface feels cramped, and some custom fields don’t render correctly, which forces me to wait until I’m back at my desk to finish the update. The notification system can also be overwhelming. I’ve had to spend a significant amount of time tuning which events trigger alerts, because the default settings created too much noise during active incidents. It would be helpful if ClickUp offered preset notification profiles for different roles (for example, on-call vs. day shift) that could be toggled quickly. The learning curve for new team members is steeper than expected as well, especially when it comes to setting up automations and custom views.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, our NOC incident tracking was scattered across email threads, Slack channels, and a clunky legacy ticketing system that couldn’t keep up with our multi-ISP environment. We regularly lost context during shift handoffs, ended up duplicating troubleshooting work, and had no clear visibility into which incidents were actively being handled versus which ones had stalled.

ClickUp brought everything into a single system, with custom fields tailored to our network infrastructure—things like ONT models, circuit IDs, and affected customer counts. Now, when I take over an on-call shift, I can immediately see the full history of an outage, including logs, vendor escalations, and prior resolution attempts, without digging through chat logs to piece it together. The Slack integration still gets urgent fiber cuts in front of us right away, while routine updates stay captured and organized within tasks. Overall, this has reduced our average resolution time and removed a lot of the chaos that used to come with coordinating across multiple ISPs during major incidents.

 ### 18. Automation Powerhouse with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bonita B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp primarily as a task manager and for client outreach. It allows me to send automated updates to clients every week, with new data, links, and dates, by filling out details quickly using ClickUp fields. The feature I like most about ClickUp is the automation opportunities, which really suit my needs as a single employee business. It's also fairly easy to integrate ClickUp with tools like Gmail, Slack, Google Docs, and OneNote, which has worked well for me.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is tricky. Once I understand, it’s fine - but I’ve really messed up some files, data, and systems by just exploring, fishing around, and making a critical error simply because of 'custom fields' and templates not matching etc. That part is difficult and tricky.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to quickly fill out details for client updates via automated emails, sending forms to clients (non ClickUp users) for projects, and even recording videos to help train my clients on how to complete certain tasks they need to do for our projects together.

 ### 19. Improve Your Productivity with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Audrey P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage various aspects of my professional and personal life, and I particularly appreciate its super-agents, which are a real game changer. The integrations and connections with other tools make my work much more efficient by centralizing everything in one place. This increased visibility without having to search everywhere represents a real time saver. Working in a team is greatly facilitated, especially remotely, as well as team management and note-taking, which are of high quality. The speed and clarity of ClickUp on a daily basis amplify my productivity and creativity. Today, the configurations, especially with AI, are surprisingly simple.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The dashboards, I haven't yet figured out how to optimize them. And also the use of custom fields.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The product helps me mentally offload my to-do list and organize my projects. It reduces procrastination, amplifies my productivity and creativity. The integrations and centralized visibility facilitate teamwork and remote management.

 ### 20. Streamlined Task Management, Highly Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anri V. | Project Manager and Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is not overly complicated, and there are a lot of functionalities you can use. If you want to just make use of it for simple task tracking, you don't have to overcomplicate it, and you can just use it in its simplest form. For our small team spread across six different countries, being able to easily communicate, delegate tasks, and track those tasks has been really simple and flexible. I find it simple because you just go in, put a title in, a description in, it's connected to a client, and then you can assign it to a person. They can start tracking their task within that ticket.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

We haven't really looked at a lot of the ways of making use of AI because of the pricing. So for a company as small as ours, it just doesn't really seem like we should be paying that much for credits or for having the use of a tool that we're already using and to have to pay extra for it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task management, tracking, and delegation. It's simple and flexible, helping my globally distributed, small team easily communicate and manage tasks by assigning and tracking within a ticket.

 ### 21. ClickUp Streamlines Automation with Seamless Performance and Strong Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Being able to automate tasks is, by far, one of the best features. It lets work move through the team in a much more streamlined way until it reaches its final destination.

Overall, the platform’s performance feels seamless and it comes with strong support. We’ve rarely experienced downtime or issues so far, but on the one occasion we did run into some trouble while setting up a new automation, the support team helped us work through it and get things on track.

On pricing, it is a little expensive, but you do get what you pay for. There also isn’t much competition that can offer the same level of value.

My team doesn’t use any integrations, so I can’t really comment there. However, our tech team does, and I haven’t heard a single bad thing from them.

This is the third product I’ve tried for workflows, task management, and similar needs, and it’s easily the most superior. It feels ahead of the game, and any updates are welcome.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One of the few issues I have with ClickUp is the Docs section. It doesn’t really offer a strong system for sorting documents within that area and keeping everything organised. Linking a doc to a task does help, but it would be even better to have folders so that, if a document doesn’t need a specific task or has multiple versions, we can store it there and manage it with better control.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a large team, we often have tasks that we have to work on collectively at different stages. This helps us work in a more organised way so we can move tasks in a board depending on who needs to do what without the need for sending emails every time which can cause delays or missing gaps in the trail we need for accountability.

 ### 22. Streamlines Processes with Intuitive Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp as a project management tool for all our Content Creation, Marketing Calendars, and Sales Pipelines. I appreciate having a single source of information for all business needs, which helps in creating a process where assets don't get missed and resources can be allocated and scheduled in advance. I like the ease of using ClickUp, with the Status of each task making things much simpler and easier to keep everything on track. I love the automations, which help reduce my time having to chase people and enable smooth running processes. The Task Status feature allows me to quickly see an overview of every project and identify bottlenecks, giving me time to resource effectively so projects stay on track. Setting up ClickUp was very easy, and the API integrations with Slack and Claude make it easy to evolve what we do with it and get the most out of it. It is very easy to use, saves lots of time, enables more space for creativity, and keeps everything organized.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like the calendar view when we have a full marketing pipeline built in - it doesn't give enough information and only shows top line where we're at and that just looks messy and uninformative.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp provides a single source of information, ensuring no assets are missed, and allows advance scheduling. It helps me spot bottlenecks, keep projects on track, and reduces time chasing people with efficient automations.

 ### 23. Flexible, Fast, and Feature-Rich—ClickUp Keeps Our Team Focused

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

UI / UX
The interface is remarkably flexible. I love the "everything view" and the ability to switch between List, Board, and Gantt views instantly. The recent updates have made the workspace feel much cleaner and less overwhelming, allowing me to customize my sidebar so I only see what matters to my current workflow.

Integrations
ClickUp acts as the "brain" of our operations. It integrates seamlessly with our existing stack (Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub). The ability to create tasks directly from other apps has eliminated the need for constant context-switching, which has been a huge boost to our team’s focus.

Performance
There has been a massive improvement in speed over the last year. The platform is snappy, pages load almost instantly, and the mobile app is finally robust enough to manage complex projects on the go. It handles our large databases without any noticeable lag.

Pricing / ROI
The ROI is undeniable. By consolidating our docs, whiteboards, and time-tracking into one platform, we’ve been able to cancel three other software subscriptions. For the sheer number of features you get, the per-user cost is significantly more competitive than other enterprise-level project management tools.

Support / Onboarding
The onboarding process was surprisingly smooth. ClickUp University and the pre-built industry templates allowed our team to get up and running in days rather than weeks. When we have hit a snag, the support documentation is comprehensive, and the live support team has been responsive and helpful.

AI / Intelligence (ClickUp Brain)
ClickUp Brain is easily the best implementation of AI I’ve seen in a PM tool. It saves me hours every week by summarizing long comment threads, writing project updates, and instantly finding information hidden deep in our documentation. It’s like having a personal assistant who knows everything about our workspace.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Optimization & Load Times
Despite the "ClickUp 3.0/4.0" performance promises, the platform still struggles with latency on high-density views. When working in complex Spaces with hundreds of tasks or multiple Dashboard widgets, the page load times can be frustratingly long. I’ve noticed significant "snappiness" issues when switching between different views (e.g., from List to Gantt) on larger projects. For a tool meant to save time, the cumulative wait for pages to fully render can disrupt deep-work flow.

API Flexibility & Variability
While the public API is decent, it lacks the variability and granular control required for advanced custom workflows. Specifically:

Doc Management: There is currently no way to programmatically link Docs to Tasks or manage detailed Doc permissions via the API.

Custom Field Logic: The API is limited when it comes to updating the options within dropdown or label custom fields, making it difficult to keep ClickUp in sync with external databases.

Data Consistency: There are still minor inconsistencies in response schemas (like ID types varying between endpoints), which makes building robust, strongly-typed integrations more difficult than it should be.

Feature Over-Saturation
Because ClickUp tries to do everything, some features feel like they have the "last 10% of polish" missing. For example, while the built-in Docs are great, the formatting options and collaborative editing don't quite feel as "fluid" as dedicated tools like Google Docs or Notion, and this complexity adds to the overall weight and slowness of the UI.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem ClickUp solves for us is "App Sprawl." Instead of fragmented workflows across a CRM, a task manager, and a documentation tool, we have centralized everything into a single ecosystem. We even use ClickUp as our primary CRM, which has been a game-changer for our visibility and data integrity.

How it benefits us:

Centralized Context: Because we manage our sales pipeline and project execution in one place, no information is lost during the handoff. The history of a "Lead" stays intact as they become a "Project."

Operational Efficiency: It has significantly reduced our "mental overhead." My team no longer wastes time context-switching between tools; they have a single source of truth for every process.

Process Flexibility: Unlike rigid CRMs, ClickUp allows us to build custom workflows that actually fit our business logic, rather than forcing us to work the "software's way."

By consolidating our stack, we’ve not only saved on subscription costs but also drastically improved our team's speed and alignment.

 ### 24. Efficient Project Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Qudratullah R.

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for project management, and it's a very good software for managing my projects effectively. I can create tasks, follow up on them, and schedule them on time. It allows me to select the time range from days to a specific date, and I can keep myself updated on the progress. This feature is excellent as it lets me assign tasks to others and check if they've completed them. I find it very good overall.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'm not super clear about ClickUp's documentation. I need better training because as a project manager, it's really important for me to fully understand how to use ClickUp effectively. I also had trouble figuring out how to connect ClickUp with other tools, which is frustrating. So, it would be great if they could improve these aspects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, creating and scheduling tasks efficiently. I can manage projects, follow task progress, and update everyone involved.

 ### 25. Automation & Integration Boost Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niti M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate ClickUp's automation feature, which makes handling employee lifecycle tasks like PIPs, Return to work, and Onboarding tasks very effective. It helps me manage tasks without the need for creating new ones repeatedly. I also find it easy to move tasks into different folders. The guest login feature is really useful for allowing team managers to access company policies without much hassle. ClickUp's integration with my Outlook email is a blessing. It aligns perfectly with my calendar and has an AI note-taker that makes my meetings much more manageable.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Initially it looked difficult and messy with all the automations and filters. Massive menus confuse new employees. Sometimes the filter doesn’t work, maybe because of some issue we did incorrectly. Switching from manual tasks to ClickUp was a tough job. Creating tasks every time and structuring them for easy access by managers was initially tough.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage tasks, track goals, automate employee lifecycle tasks, and provide senior managers with comprehensive task updates. The guest feature and Outlook integration enhance collaboration and accessibility.

 ### 26. Versatile Task Management, but Needs Faster Load Times

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Małgorzata G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for time tracking and project management, and I like how it's organized with spaces divided into lists, where each space represents a client. I appreciate that ClickUp enables us to track each employee's time and use it for hourly invoicing on a per-project basis. The integration with our custom-built tool through ClickUp's API is really handy. I really enjoy the diverse task views, such as lists and Kanban boards, where the Kanban view helps my team easily change task statuses. The goals functionality is helpful for important milestones, and the integration with Google Calendar and Gmail works really well too. I especially like being able to easily add emails as attachments to my tasks. The initial setup of ClickUp was really easy, which I also found valuable.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The most significant drawback is the absence of the 'Tasks in multiple lists' feature in the unlimited plan. Furthermore, the application's loading time is a major concern. Sometimes I need to wait 30 seconds, and it is not related to internet connection. Tasks in multiple lists is available in a higher plan, but we can't afford this - we earn in a less favorable currency. It's a pity that several features were moved to higher plans last year.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for time tracking and project management, enabling us to track each employee's time and handle hourly invoicing by project. Its diverse task views help my team change tasks' statuses easily, and I enjoy Google integrations for seamless task management.

 ### 27. The Ultimate Command Center—Powerful, but requires a real time investment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunwar Shekhar S. | Technical Lead Mobile , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best thing about ClickUp is the Scalable Hierarchy. As someone managing multiple departments, the ability to organize work into Spaces, Folders, and Lists is the only reason I’ve been able to stay sane. Most tools get messy once you add more than 10 people, but ClickUp stays organized. I particularly love the 'Everything View'—it’s my daily 'command center' where I can see tasks across the entire company without having to click into individual projects.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While the platform is incredibly powerful, the learning curve is quite steep. Because you can customize almost everything, it can be overwhelming for new team members to get up to speed quickly. We had to spend a significant amount of time building out our own internal 'SOPs' just to teach people how to use the tool properly. It’s not a 'plug and play' software; you definitely need a dedicated admin to set it up correctly at the start.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, our team was suffering from 'app fatigue.' We had tasks in Trello, docs in Google Drive, and communication scattered across Slack and email. ClickUp solved this by providing a single source of truth. The biggest benefit has been the centralization of data; I no longer spend 20 minutes a day asking 'where is that file?' or 'what is the status of this task?' Having everything linked—from the initial brainstorm doc to the final subtask—has significantly increased our team's velocity and reduced missed deadlines.

 ### 28. ClickUp Streamlines Large-Scale Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal K. | Design Craft Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp very easy to use and seamless. The whole experience is amazing with many features that make it easy for us to use. I like how everything, including the timesheet functionality, is part of the whole ClickUp experience, and we don't have to go to any other product. The timesheet feature in particular makes it very easy to track and manage bandwidth across the team.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the information that I see on a daily basis becomes a little too overwhelming, but I guess that's part of the whole system. It's not a big deal, but if the whole information I see daily could be progressive and not come fully at the same time, it would be a very good experience.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps our team easily track and manage user stories in large-scale projects. Its timesheet feature simplifies tracking and managing bandwidth across the team. We don't need additional products, as ClickUp integrates everything seamlessly into our workflow.

 ### 29. Streamlined Operations with ClickUp's All-in-One Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saurabh A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how ClickUp solves most of our use cases, which previously required multiple products, saving us costs. The product is shaped from a product perspective, making management tracking easier. I appreciate the insane number of features and the customization levels ClickUp offers, ensuring even small customizations are possible. The AI integration for creating chatbots is great, and automated AI summaries give us a clear picture of sprint progress. I also like that a single task can be shared among all boards, aligning product, tech, and support on the status, unlike Jira where we had separate tickets for each board. The hierarchy for task creation is greater than on other platforms. Additionally, the integration with GitHub and automations around it are good.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

- AI chatbots are good, but as AI can hallucinate, sometimes the outputs are not that great. - There can be some small bugs seen here and there when you navigate on the platform for a long time, especially related to filters. - While the product team was instantly happy with the decision of adopting ClickUp extensively, the tech team had some friction because of the shift of how things used to work on Jira vs ClickUp.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp consolidates our tools, cutting operational costs and streamlining workflows across departments. It offers numerous features, AI integrations, and customizations, enhancing transparency and ease of tracking tasks from various perspectives. We now avoid using multiple platforms like Jira and Coda.

 ### 30. Streamlined Management with Excellent Collaboration Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pankaj J. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp helps streamline the whole collaboration process with our engineering team. The UI and performance of ClickUp are quite efficient, making it easy to share and collaborate with different people. I appreciate the tagging and comment features that make it extremely easy to track and align all stakeholders in one place. It's also quick and convenient to use on my mobile, which is a big plus for short-term tasks. The initial setup was straightforward and didn't take long at all.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think even though the UI is quite good looking, there are certain things that feel a bit cluttered and overwhelming at times. Maybe those can be added under a layer, making the primary interface a bit more simplistic. That can be one thing that can be improved.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp streamlines our collaboration with the engineering team by acting as a centralized platform, making it easier to manage and track upgrades and activities across verticals.

 ### 31. The most essential app for my life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro Henrique C. | Automation Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Everything! It's so customizable. I can use it to keep track of anything I want. Projects, to-do lists, work tasks, and even my shopping list. I work with automation and easily lose track of all the clients and projects I have to manage. With ClickUp, everything stays organized and any information is easy to find.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's not that I don't like it. But since I have to say something, I think the themes could be more customizable. Because otherwise, so far I haven't found anything I don't like about this app.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The app solves all my disorganization problems. I have a hard time keeping track of all the projects and things I need to do. With it, I no longer miss anything. In addition to being able to keep a record of everything I've done or failed to do, I can make more detailed reports for my boss and stay in tune with the team I work with.

 ### 32. Powerful Automation and Incredible Personalization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julio M. | Cisco CCNA Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the design of ClickUp, along with the custom fields, customization, and automation it offers. The automations I have set up make my life easier, especially sending satisfaction surveys which I now conduct in a matter of seconds. I also enjoy the dashboards, which are great for having real-time visibility of information, which helps in decision-making. The integration with other tools through ClickUp's API is also a great benefit.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The use of custom fields on dashboards in all visuals. There are visuals where to reach a result I have to do several things manually. The topic of AI has a lot of scope. I would like greater transparency on the issue of its costs. A scheme where with the license I pay I have access to certain tokens daily without having to hire something additional would be great. At first, it was a bit complicated to understand the logic behind the hierarchies and the options.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automate manual tasks like sending satisfaction surveys to over 100 clients in seconds. It allows me to manage customer relationships and plan scenarios for businesses. It also reduces time and provides real-time visibility for decisions.

 ### 33. Flexible and Useful Tool, But with Mobile Flaws

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp to organize tasks with my team and chat with them, plus I can connect my drive, which provides me with better accessibility and visibility of the files. I value the ease of using everything and connecting everything, and I appreciate the options it offers to adapt the tool according to the needs of people and teams. It's remarkable how each team in my company can customize folders and boards to perfectly suit their needs, making ClickUp super adaptable.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The app for smartphones, I use Android and it doesn't seem very reliable to me, it takes time to update and send notifications, which has caused me to miss urgent messages when I'm not using the app on PC. Sometimes it sends me notifications of messages that were sent an hour ago, other times it does send the notification but when I open the app I can't see that new message.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize tasks with my team, improve communication, and have everything accessible in one place, which helps me keep my days more organized.

 ### 34. ClickUp as Our Agency Command Center: Centralized, Customizable, and Scalable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle W. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What’s most helpful about ClickUp is that it truly runs our entire agency. We use ClickUp all day long, for task management, Super Agents, internal team communication, content calendars, documentation, campaign tracking, and so much more. It’s not just a project management tool for us, it’s our operating system.

The Super Agents are a huge upside. Because our entire workflow lives inside ClickUp, the agents can support almost anything we need. They help us move faster, think clearer, and execute more efficiently without bouncing between tools.

Ease of implementation is another major win. It’s incredibly easy to set up and onboard both team members and clients. We build out content calendars inside ClickUp and invite even our least tech savvy clients in as guests to review and leave notes. They consistently tell us how intuitive and easy it is to use, which makes collaboration seamless.

One of the biggest upsides is consolidation. ClickUp replaced multiple tools in our stack, which reduced costs and eliminated the chaos of information living in different platforms. No more digging through emails, Slack threads, or scattered documents. Everything is centralized and visible.

There are so many upsides to using ClickUp that we could probably write a book, but at its core, it gives us clarity, organization, and scalability without adding complexity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One downside is that I wish the AI functionality (excluding the Super Agents - those are amazing) had stronger memory and training capabilities. Right now, it’s incredibly helpful in the moment, but it doesn’t retain long term context about our brand voice, processes, or recurring workflows the way a fully trainable AI model can.

If ClickUp’s AI could be trained on our internal documentation and retain memory across projects and time, it would become even more powerful. That would allow us to centralize not just project management, but also strategic thinking and content support, eliminating the need for additional AI tools.

The AI is strong, but the ability to personalize and “teach” it over time would take it from helpful to indispensable.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the chaos that naturally happens when you’re managing multiple clients, projects, deadlines, and assets at once. Before consolidating everything into one platform, tasks would live in emails, Slack threads, notes, or someone’s memory. That’s where things get dropped. ClickUp eliminates that risk.

We don’t lose tasks. We don’t lose assets. We don’t lose visibility.

Everything has a home, an owner, a due date, and a clear status. That alone has been a massive time saver. Instead of asking, “Where is that file?” or “Who’s handling this?” we can see it instantly.

It also streamlines our entire workflow. From onboarding to content production to approvals to publishing, the process is structured and repeatable. That consistency reduces decision fatigue and speeds up execution.

The benefit for us is efficiency and peace of mind. We spend less time organizing and more time strategizing. Less scrambling, more scaling.

For an agency managing multiple moving parts every day, that operational clarity is everything.

 ### 35. ClickUp Keeps Team Tasks Organized with Seamless Slack Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The overall view and task creation is so helpful and allows me to see all tasks across my team. Im able to manage the status of the tasks as well which we customized to fit our workflow seamlessly. Its great with Slack as well, tagging tasks over quickly helps keep things all in one place. The software is never stalling or lagging, updates are seamless and helpful. The overall price of ClickUp is also great, its been something easy to keep on board now for a while with the company, not to mention helpful in tracking tasks for our onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It can be very complex. There are so many amazing features and things that it can do and help support, we never truly got into those features past managing tasks but i imagine it being very useful for other teams esp when converting tasks to any points of ROI.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing tasks across the team and their status/progression.

 ### 36. Flexible and Focused Tool with Room for Task Management Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love using ClickUp for my media agency as it offers a unified place for everything work-related, which means fewer tools and distractions for me. The automations are good and the AI integration is solid. I love the chat and dashboards features. The variety of views ClickUp offers is really helpful. The team section and the execution ability are great compared to tools like Notion and Slack. It's really flexible yet focused. I love that I can create spaces, folders, and lists which help organize things neatly. ClickUp helps us collaborate in an integrated way, and having AI Agents built in is life-changing. The team section helps me break things down and see our team's workload easily, while the dashboards give me a clear view of what's going on and our successes. The hierarchy is flexible and allows us to organize things exactly how we want. The initial setup was pretty simple too, thanks to the import feature when we moved from Asana.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don’t care for the my tasks section, and the create a task feature for my tasks. Asanas is much better. Less steps to create a task. I need to move faster and have it assume things better and not give me so many options to do a single thing like making a new task that I just need to have down in my tasks. Also, my tasks doesn’t have a weekly calendar view… again, Asanas my tasks section is way better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp provides a unified workspace, reducing tools and distractions, offers good automations and AI integration. It enhances team collaboration with chat, dashboards for easy success tracking, and flexible organization through spaces, folders, and lists.

 ### 37. ClickUp: The Swiss Army knife for asynchronous teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caro S. | Chief People Officer & Strategy Enabler, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I value most is its ability to be one app to rule them all. I know I stuck with the old slogan but it stuck in my mind. After 6 years of use, I confirmed that it fulfills that promise of integrating the most used tool ecosystem in addition to adding AI functionalities that further enhance each team member's focus. As an advanced user, deep customization is vital, it allows us total visibility both at the operational and executive level. I especially highlight the native automations that are now powered by AI. This really helps mature teams collaborate asynchronously, reducing cognitive load and unnecessary meetings.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve, I think it would be good to have an easy mode for beginners because I see that it is not simple and can be intimidating.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves information fragmentation. We are currently migrating the CRM to ClickUp to facilitate the transfer from sales to service and synchronization with Customer Success. We also use it to manage end-to-end processes like recruiting, onboarding, client lifecycle, vendors, etc. The greatest benefit is the efficient use of time through automated workflows integrating Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, and Google Calendar. This allows us to scale our system coherently without losing control of the details of each process.

 ### 38. Versatile and Customizable, But Reports Leave Something to Be Desired

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela C. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the versatility with fields and customization in ClickUp. I can add the fields I need for each thing and integrate the areas. It's possible to adapt most things within ClickUp, whether in the marketing, operations, or administrative team. This helps a lot, although it's a bit less useful in sales. Additionally, it helps with the library of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The goals section is bad. We would like to have a centralized commercial process, but the reports and follow-ups in ClickUp still leave much to be desired. Some statuses/fields/formulas cannot be copied to other spaces. In goals, I can't really track the KRs and OKRs, and we make an adaptation with the ADMIN space, but even so, it's not the same. It's also not possible to have a flow of these goals or the things tied to ensure progress. In the reports, we are considering canceling ClickUp to invest in a CRM with commercial data reports, conversion rates, pipeline creation, conversation histories, and the like. We tried to adapt with some lists by adapting statuses, but it's still not okay. In the client portal we created as a support view, my client is forced to create an account in ClickUp to have the minimum view, and not everyone is keen on that. The agents themselves still make errors too.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can optimize time with the organization of projects, have a macro visibility, centralize processes in one place, and customize fields as needed, integrating areas such as marketing and operations.

 ### 39. All-in-One Task Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lilia S. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that everything is in one place with ClickUp. I can check my calendar for meetings, get reminders about calendar events, and set up recurring tasks for each client to ensure nothing is missed. I love being able to manage each client separately and see what's coming up in their pipeline to make sure things are on track. It also allows me to see where the team is on other tasks, ensuring everyone stays on track. The task layout and different viewing options are helpful because I can customize them in a way that works best for me. I also love the interface of ClickUp.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like the chat feature in ClickUp. My team and I have tried to use it, and the notifications aren't forward enough to avoid missing them. Also, if you get in a video call with a team member, I don't like that the call doesn't become its own separate window, because then you can't always see the person you're talking to if you go into a separate window.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task management, call recording, client notes, and reminders. It centralizes everything, enabling calendar checks, task management, and team tracking. I love setting up recurring tasks and seeing progress to ensure nothing is missed.

 ### 40. Streamlined Team Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is easy to use and keeps everything in one central place. The recurring tasks form the basis of our monthly work plan, which is super helpful. I also appreciate how it provides an overall view of everything going on in the business and the visibility it offers for different departments, keeping everything in line and running efficiently. Moving from spreadsheets to ClickUp was game-changing for us. Additionally, the initial setup was good because we didn't have a lot of data to move, which was great for us starting out.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think there's probably a lot more in ClickUp that we haven't used yet. When we started using it, probably about four plus years ago, I don't think the onboarding was as good then, so we probably just got into a habit of using it how we used it back then and haven't really evolved it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps our team manage client workloads and stay on top of recurring tasks. It enables strategic teamwork from different locations by centralizing everything and providing department visibility. It's easy to use and forms the basis of our monthly work plan, keeping us efficient.

 ### 41. All My Tasks in One ClickUp Dashboard—Smooth Setup and Great Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As a designer, what I find most helpful about ClickUp is how it brings all of my tasks together in one easy-to-navigate dashboard. Since I’m often juggling 10 different tasks at any given time, it helps me stay organized and is able to keep up with my intense workload. I was nervous about switching from my previous project management tool, but the ClickUp support team made the transition smoother by helping me get set up and ready to go. I’ve also noticed that AI assistance and other capabilities are available, along with various app integrations. While I haven’t needed to use those features myself yet, it’s reassuring to know they’re there if I ever do.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Switching between tasks could be easier. A tabs feature for tasks would be a game changer! By being able to switch between tasks as tabs (instead of having to close out any given task to navigate to another one) efficiency would drastically improve.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a designer, I rely on project management software to keep my assignments organized and make sure everything gets submitted on time. With other tools, I’ve struggled to see all the relevant information I need in one place. ClickUp, though, is highly customizable, and it lets me lay everything out in a way that works perfectly for how I manage my projects. It is also very fast and reliable.

 ### 42. Versatile Task Management with Stellar Planning Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff D. | Lead Instructional Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love using ClickUp for everything, from work tasks and progress to personal things like tracking restaurants and hotels. It's great for making any kind of list. The Planner feature is fantastic because it helps me manage my day based on the tasks I have. This is especially helpful for me because I struggle with ADD and it keeps me on track without the stress of remembering things manually. I also appreciate the capability to layer tasks with subtasks and include attachments, which keeps everything organized in one place. The initial setup was super easy for me.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only feature I'd love to see added is the ability to have sub tasks inherit the properties of the parent task so you don't have to refill all the fields in again. When you have a lot of fields, that can get a little annoying.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me with my work and personal tasks, keeping me organized despite my ADD. It prevents feeling overwhelmed by planning daily tasks realistically.

 ### 43. Flexible Yet Feature-Rich, Ideal for Savvy Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for my agency to keep everything organized with multiple clients and tasks, and it's great for tracking hours and monitoring tasks that employees are working on. I enjoy using the AI executive assistant, which has been a game changer for me; it reminds me about open tasks at a very specific time every day, which helps me wrap up my day efficiently. I really like the flexibility of ClickUp: From the AI executive assistant to the feature that allows me to do video and/or audio calls, is particularly helpful when I need to quickly communicate with a colleague. I also appreciate having visibility of my clients' and their employees' progress on projects and having the ability to bring a client in on ClickUp for a more efficient workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't quite see a place where budget tracking is available. More native integrations too.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to stay organized with multiple clients and tasks, track hours and tasks employees work on, and the AI executive assistant reminds me of open tasks daily, which helps me wrap up my day efficiently.

 ### 44. Collaborative Marketing Project Hub

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quintin R. | Field Marketing Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp keeps me in the loop by providing an inbox, giving me an easy list of tasks to complete and areas where I have been tagged. This feature helps enforce accountability to ensure we are following appropriate processes for email/landing page and approvals. I find that the platform serves as a primary area for communication for our group. The inbox, document hub, and comments within tasks are the most useful for me, helping me stay on top of both the high-level strategy and the more specific comments on each task. These allow me to keep up to date with all things I am tagged on in an easy chronological order. ClickUp is a worthy competitor to both Asana and Wrike with similar feature sets and collaboration capabilities, particularly forms, comments, etc. Though Asana was a bit easier to navigate, I find ClickUp easier to use than Wrike.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think one problem is that in our current structure we use many subtasks and each subtask has its own comment box. That is helpful for keeping track of things for that one task, but sometimes conversations get lost as tasks are completed or if I can't remember which task we were chatting/commenting in.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep our team aligned on marketing projects, manage tasks, and host strategy documentation. It provides an inbox for accountability and effective communication, while comments and document hub assist in tracking specific tasks easily.

 ### 45. Efficient Organization and Automation with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize tasks, track processes, and manage deadlines, as well as to centralize information and automate routines. I especially like the automations, which greatly facilitate the routine, reduce manual tasks, and help organize admissions, vacations, terminations, quota control, and payroll, among other routines. Additionally, the organization and visibility that ClickUp provides are great for tracking deadlines and ensuring that no process is left pending. It's great to have a platform that consolidates the functionalities of other tools like Pipefy, Confluence, and a ticketing system.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes, the checklists have flaws, such as not allowing them to be deleted. The tool also shows some slowness or instability at times, which impacts its usefulness. There are times when email automations take a long time to be triggered; last month, there was a failure in the automation sending part, where a bug occurred and it didn't send, remaining like that for about 3 days. Additionally, the support always being in English was a challenge for me, as I don't speak the language and had to use Google Translate.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize tasks, avoid forgetfulness, and centralize information. Automations facilitate routines and reduce manual tasks, ensuring control and visibility of activities.

 ### 46. Intuitive, Customizable, and Boosts Team Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaidyn S. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage our success, marketing, and growth marketing projects from idea to launch. I love how it helps ensure nothing falls through the cracks by using assignees, owners, and reminders. I enjoy managing my team in ClickUp and appreciate its ability to be customized to fit our needs, whether in-depth or surface-level. ClickUp is very intuitive by design and has endless options, which were a big factor in our team switching from Jira. It allows us to schedule as far out as we want and assign start and due dates to tasks and projects. The comment feature is great for tracking all team communication on specific projects, leading to significantly increased productivity. It also integrates with our company Slack, Google Drive, and email accounts. Setting it up was very easy; it only took about a day, and we further tuned it over the first few months to fit our team specifically.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Nothing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps manage projects from start to finish, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks with features like assignees and reminders. It solves communication, time tracking, and organizational issues, and boosts productivity by allowing detailed task assignments and communication tracking.

 ### 47. Unified Workflow with Robust Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jill S. | Director of Educational Counseling, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love ClickUp because it pulls everything together in one place. We no longer need to use multiple systems for chat, databases, documents, tasks, or calendars. This integration is a huge win for our team, making things much more efficient. ClickUp University and the videos they provide are really helpful, and the support team is so quick to respond, assisting us in resolving any issues. I also found their AI within the setup process very useful, as it helped me figure out the exact situations where I was stuck.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I feel like unless you really get into ClickUp, there are some things that just take a little while to understand. Also, the setup took me quite some time, a lot of it was trial and error just to figure out the best way to set up our system since it was pretty complicated.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ClickUp to organize databases and tasks, streamline our processes, and efficiently connect team communication. It merges chat, calendars, documents, and more into one place, saving us the hassle of using multiple systems.

 ### 48. Streamlined Team Coordination, But Navigation Needs Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to track tasks and appreciate how it allows me to see briefs, track timing, and view team workload. I like being able to load files and comment directly, which is important when I need to discuss something specific from a file. The ability to go backwards on a task is useful, as is tracking and editing time. I also value the feature of tagging people to set priorities and assign tasks. The task tracking feature helps unlock and prepare following subtasks for others, which is crucial in remote work environments. I like the flows that automatically assign tasks to the next person once I complete something, and I appreciate having my day organized in one place. The commenting feature allows me to communicate task statuses, ask questions, and provide or seek more context by reading previous comments. Tagging is also very handy for keeping everyone connected.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes navigation through people's boards is a bit tricky. It's difficult to find other people's time tracking and tasks on queue.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to track tasks, see briefs, and manage team workload. It organizes my day, auto-assigns flows, and lets me load files, comment, and track time. Tagging people and task tracking keep my remote team connected and ready.

 ### 49. Clear Visibility and Flexible Views Keep Our Workflow Moving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that I can see what everyone is doing at one time. Additionally, I like that there are different views based on how you prioritize you work flow. Being on the account management side, I utilize the list feature, whereas my coworkers utilize the workload feature. It moves relatively quickly and I have a few of my clients in ClickUp as well. I don't know anything regardng the Pricing and AI side.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes ClickUp removes assignees, dates, etc. That is extremely inconvenient. Also, I dislike that if one of my coworkers accepts the update, we are all forced into it. I would like to be able to research the update before committing to it. I don't like that if someone uses the reply feature on a comment and doesn't tag the person they are likely not going to see it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has streamlined repetitive tasks that happen weekly. Additionally, it allows everyone to dump information in the same place and keep things organized. It feels like ClickUp has a solution for everything.

 ### 50. Stop trying to make me use AI, I didn't ask for this

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It's easy to find what I need. If I don't know how to set something up in the way I'd like, I can usually find an easy answer in ClickUp documentation. Using the tool feels intuitive. I am the person my colleagues come to for ClickUp questions. and I am almost always able to help them use ClickUp to simplify their day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Automations are great but I am annoyed that they are constantly pushing me to use AI Agents. You can give it a rest. Stop pushing features no one asked for and no one wants. I also find when I search for items, which should be a simple thing to do, I am often accidentally pushed into using AI search, which I really do not need. Search also seems to take a very long time to load resukts.

I also find the home page is not that useful to me. I need easier access to the cards, boards, and spaces I access the most often.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automations with third party apps like google suite and Jotform save me a ton of time. I handle event registrations, which I intake through a jotform. Its easy to automate integrations between the two apps, so that I can look just in ClickUp to se the information I need, rather than having to open Jotform and look there.

Native automatons in ClickUp also save me tie when it comes to automatically applying templates and labels. I wish it was a little easier to diagnose when these things do not work.
