**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for pretty much everything, including maintaining and managing a house with seven kids, managing my freelance business, and organizing work tasks. ClickUp makes it really easy to navigate complicated tasks and helps keep track of a lot of information and data across various projects. It aids communication among people on different projects and assists in staying on top of multiple tasks at once, and has features to help keep you focused when it matters. My favorite thing about ClickUp is using the different views to see all the information about my tasks and creating dashboards that display all the data I need. It's incredible to look at my data in personalized ways. I also really like maintaining a running log on each task to avoid confusion about progress. I love how ClickUp connects to a lot of different software and other tools I use, acting as a catch-all for everything. Its ability to be tweaked for all different types of activities I track stands out for me. Lastly, although the initial setup wasn't super easy, ClickUp made it manageable by providing sensible prompts, and their help desk is super responsive.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The initial setup for ClickUp wasn't super easy. Well, I should say it was complicated, but ClickUp made it easier with prompts and intuitive features. It does take some practice and playing around to get used to it and set it up properly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp makes it easy to navigate complex tasks, maintain a lot of information, and stay on top of multiple projects at once. It helps people communicate easily and gives me the flexibility to organize my work as needed.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Now, as the SC Ops Coordinator of the globe's leading Aesthetic MedTech company, I still use ClickUp to keep things organized. 

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

As for improvements, I absolutely abhor the time stamps that pop up when my tasks' Due Dates are updated via Zapier integration with Salesforce. Nothing I do mitigates the issue, either. It's also annoying that when adding dates, ClickUp will assume what I mean instead of just accepting what I type. I know what I mean - I don't need a correction protocol for typing dates. Almost nobody does, tbh.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps eliminate confusion and redundancy. Helps manage time and other resources. Help log time, activity, and other metricks.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The ClickUp project management tool has streamlined our workflows by bringing tasks, documents, goals, and time tracking together. The flexibility of the views such as list, board, Gantt and calendar enables everyone to choose their preferred way of working. The automation capabilities have also proved to be a major benefit by taking over tedious task allocation and status updates that took up large chunks of our team's time each week.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are many features that can be customized which can make set-up of the workspace time consuming. Also, advanced reporting and unlimited storage are reserved for higher plans which, over time, can result in additional expense.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has overcome the issue of using multiple apps to manage tasks, documents and goals by unifying these under one roof.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Its versatile architecture - you can definitely use it for free for personal use or small business. And if needed, you can add features at a reasonable cost once your business grows.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are two things I'm not a big fan of. First, when you start up and select the Forever Free plan, you are still enrolled in a trial of a paid plan for two weeks. This means you might begin using some features that will be inaccessible after two weeks. Also, there is no very clear way to distinguish which features are paid for and which are not. Second, the trial involves limited uses of certain features on the Free Forever plan. Some features have a restricted number of uses (not per month, but overall), which again means you're using something that you will not have access to in the near future. I would prefer the plans only had the features they currently offer, and if the user wishes, they could try out higher plans for a certain period of time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp excels at making complicated projects easy to handle. It helps in breaking down projects as granular as you need. You can use Spaces as projects, and within them have Folders, List, Tasks, and Subtasks. You can create relationships between tasks and choose different task types. This means your "task" could actually be a company, and you can create a whole Sales CRM within it. Its hyper versatility is something that makes it suitable for any use case.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the connection between ClickUp and Claude, which makes my daily work life easier and faster. I don't have to switch between apps on my desktop, and I can easily update a task in Claude. ClickUp provides a clear overview of my dashboard and my projects/tasks. It helps me get clear on what needs to be done, by whom, and when. I also appreciate the ability to divide a complex to-do into multiple tasks so I don't lose focus.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

For beginners, it can be quite tricky to decipher how to create new phases of a project. I had to spend an hour or so researching how to do that without breaking previously created templates. Not quite sure how, but first of all make it easier to find how to create new phases/stages for a project.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize complex projects into stages, making it clear what needs to be done, by whom, and when. The connection with Claude helps update tasks and provides a daily overview based on priority, streamlining my workflow without switching apps.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Most of my teams are on ClickUp, and we use channels to chat with each team. It’s easy to switch into management mode and track tasks, and most importantly, I can create a task directly from a chat, which is very helpful. I also set up custom dashboards to monitor task progress and keep an eye on how work is moving forward.

I have integrated my google calendar to join meetings instantly. I also use clickup calls sometimes.

performance has increased recently with the new updates to clickup and I can easily navigate. The pricing is also good for the number of heads in my team. We have been able to get live support from clickup representatives. The AI brain has been useful to create tasks, plam sprints etc

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it gets stuck, and it consumes a lot of my RAM. Switching between projects can also be slow at times, which interrupts my workflow.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s mainly for task management, and it helps me get feedback from clients directly through a ClickUp form into a task board that we can track and manage.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It has also a chat application similar to Slack and screen recording tool that are useful in several cases. Also, a lot of AI integrations in different tools that help to do things faster.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

With the new versions the speed improved but the issues not. In the desktop application still tasks could just jump over sprints, different things show or do not show up. Some UI glitches in various places.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clickup solves issues with project management problems and task tracking. Also, collaboration and communication among team members. Documentation development and maintaining. That all results in more clarity on project management and better project results. Allows easily to develop documentation.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's interactive UI and the built-in colors. They help me keep all my work organized in one place. I can track and manage all my activities and monitor progress, which is really handy. The dashboard is useful because it lets me see all my combined data in one place. Setting it up with my team of more than 50 people was very easy, and basic tasks like tagging someone and creating a timesheet are straightforward. I also use it to manage my tasks, time, and communication, all within a single application.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes when I create a task and want to assign it to myself, I accidentally assign it to someone else, and they get an unnecessary email notification. I think there need to be improvements in the task assignment process, like adding a feature to ensure tasks are only assigned to me unless intended otherwise. Also, the process of creating a task and adding descriptions is cumbersome since it requires me to open the sidebar and manage it in full screen. I think this could be simpler.

ClickUp solves the problem of managing tasks, time, and communication all in one tool, keeping my work organized. I can track activities, monitor progress, and view combined data on the dashboard.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As COO overseeing product and operations at Thematic, ClickUp has become essential to how our teams collaborate and stay efficient. The ability to track every status update, both within a ticket and across the entire workspace, gives everyone visibility into where projects stand without needing constant check-ins, which saves our team significant time. It creates a running knowledge base of our work history and product updates, so we can quickly trace when issues were first identified and how work moved between product and engineering. Tagging and commenting directly with specific team members makes cross-team collaboration seamless - everyone know exactly who's responsible for what and when it was completed. This level of organization has maximized our overall efficiency and made it easy to manage multiple projects simultaneously across departments.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The initial setup is the biggest hurdle - configuring boards, columns, statuses, and tracking workflows to match the team's processes can take a meaningful time investment. However, once that foundation is in place and workspace rules are properly configured, the platform becomes very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is powerful, its interface is cluttered and overwhelming, making the learning curve very steep for new users. Performance often becomes noticeably sluggish when managing complex task hierarchies. Additionally, the AI features feel like an expensive, bolted-on extra rather than an integrated tool. Because of this, onboarding new team members requires significant time and training to navigate the sheer number of settings.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing ClickUp, our coordination relied on fragmented email chains, leading to lost client information and significant administrative risk. Since centralizing our internal operations into ClickUp, we have created a single source of truth that ensures all communications are audit-ready and clearly linked to the relevant participant. This has resulted in a major reduction in handover errors and ensures we meet the standards. We now track service delivery requests with precision, allowing our Service Delivery Officers to record information accurately without the chaos of unmanaged inboxes. This shift has improved our response times, ensured strict adherence to internal compliance, and directly supported the safeguarding of the participants we support.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I make pretty heavy use of the pinnable views feature, and being able to visualise tasks in a variety of different ways is genuinely helpful to my workflow.

I use ClickUp across four different workspaces, each with a significant number of spaces and well into the hundreds of tasks at any given time. Even with large lists, performance and responsiveness stay consistently good.

We don’t have the AI assistant anymore, but when we did (I think during the initial demo period), the search was exceptional. I could find tasks based purely on a vague description of what I remembered from comments, even many months later.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Many of the issues I previously had with ClickUp have been resolved. One major problem for me for a long time was that I couldn’t decrease a timesheet entry—you could only increase it, and then it would create an additional entry for the difference. As far as I could tell, the only way to reduce time was to delete the entry entirely and recreate it, which meant going into the task itself or switching to a different view. That added a lot of friction to what should have been a simple adjustment, and I found it pretty frustrating. Fortunately, this has now been fixed, and the overall experience is much improved.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is the primary “bug tracker” for our software solutions. Being able to quickly add tasks, update their status, and attach screenshots or recordings—along with using comments and back-and-forth messaging with other users, all within the same platform—makes it much easier to keep everything in one place.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is the new AI feature. It helps me to find older messages from different chats with just a single search. This feature is incredibly useful as it also allowed me to locate a specific document that was six or seven months old. I must say, it's the most useful feature I've seen in any management software. Additionally, the search functionality is really powerful, efficiently finding keywords in older messages, including important information like credentials.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Basically, initially, when I started using ClickUp, that AI feature was not there. So the thing I will say that is improved is that, AI feature.

I use ClickUp to manage tasks and documents for my team. It helps us differentiate and assign tasks to team members based on client needs, maintaining task status. The AI feature lets me find old messages and documents quickly, like searching for credentials using keywords.

What I like most about Clickup is how everything is available in one place. Earlier, I had use different tools for task management, documentation, and tracking progress,but clickup combines all of that. The flexibility is also a big plus  you can customize views like list, board,or calendar depending on how you prefer to work. It actually helps keep things organized without feeling too complicated once you get used to it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

In the begining, it can feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many features and options. it takes to understand how everthing works. Alson, sometimes the app feels slightly slow when loading largerprojects, but it's not a major issue for daily use.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clickup helps me manage tasks more efficiently and keeps everything structured. it's especailly useful for tracking ongoing work and deadline. I can easily see what's see what's pending, what's competed, and needs attention next. it has improved overall productivity and reduced the chances of missing tasks.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I love most about ClickUp is how it has transformed daily chaos into a perfect harmony of productivity. Its visual interface (UI/UX) is a delight; the flexibility to switch between List, Kanban, and Calendar views with a single click allows me to organize my mind and projects in the way that inspires me most that day.

What really saved my life was the centralization: before, I used to waste hours jumping between applications, but thanks to its seamless integrations with Slack and Google Calendar, everything flows in one place. Additionally, the customized automations completely eliminated repetitive tasks, giving me back invaluable time to focus on creativity. It's much more than a task management tool; it's the engine that keeps my team motivated, aligned, and working with a smile. The return on investment (ROI) in peace of mind and efficiency is incalculable!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I find most challenging is the steep learning curve at the beginning and the visual overload. Because the platform offers so many features and levels of customization, the onboarding process for new team members can be a bit overwhelming. At first, we spend quite a bit of time setting up views instead of working.

Additionally, at specific times of high data load, the performance of the web application can slow down slightly when loading very complex dashboards. I would love to see a slightly more simplified interface by default for users who only need to see their daily tasks, and an optimization in the loading speed of large boards.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing ClickUp, we suffered from the dispersion of information. We had tasks in one place, meeting notes in another, and files scattered across different platforms, which caused misunderstandings and wasted time searching for basic data.

ClickUp solved this by becoming our single source of truth. Now, thanks to the ability to have chats, linked documents, and tasks in one space, the entire team knows exactly what to do and where to find resources. This has eliminated unnecessary alignment meetings, and we estimate it saves us between 3 and 4 hours per week per person, allowing us to meet project deadlines in a much more relaxed and efficient manner.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like your interactive platform, it is easy to use and visually comfortable. I love that I can track time and that there are various display options, like colors and emojis. I also appreciate being able to set dates and integrate members. It is quite comprehensive. I like the 'spaces' option, it helps me organize my company's themes. Additionally, I enjoy having options for Canva and a specific task setup for social media. Each space helps me divide my company's themes like social media, presentations, and partnerships, keeping all the information organized and knowing where everything is. Having the 'to do' option where I put loose ideas that, when I have time to develop them, are still there, I haven't forgotten that I had that idea in the past.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it overwhelms me to have so many options and not know how to use them. I also feel that I am not making the most of what those options can offer me in terms of time optimization.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me coordinate all my tasks, visualize how much time I invest, repository of ideas, tasks, and organize information with thematic 'spaces' for my company. I like the 'priority' and 'progress' options; they help me see what I should do first and if I am advancing in the tasks. I really appreciate the 'relationship' option since in my job I must finish 1 task to start 3.

I appreciate that ClickUp has an easy way to integrate with other platforms, which can help bypass its current limitations, making it seem almost unlimited in its potential. Even with the constraints, this flexibility allows for a broadened scope of functionality.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One of the limitations in ClickUp is with the due dates. If you set an automation to move the due date one day forward once it is reached, it often moves to the beginning of the next day at 12AM or sometimes at 4AM, rather than exactly 24 hours later, like 8PM the next day. Also, the phone application is quite limited compared to the laptop program. For example, you cannot use tags in the phone application, so if you have triggers relying on tags you will always need to use the laptop.

ClickUp allows me to track tasks, oversee performance, and analyze data effectively, especially when working with remote teams. Its flexible features make managing various scenarios and automations efficient.

What I like most about ClickUp is its exceptional flexibility for complex logistical projects. I recently used it to manage the entire setup of a customs warehouse in Serbia, which involves strict regulatory steps, procurement, and facility planning.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The platform can sometimes feel a bit cluttered due to the sheer volume of features. When setting up the workspace for something as detail-heavy as customs compliance and logistics planning, it takes a significant amount of initial time to configure the spaces, statuses, and automations correctly. If you don't set it up perfectly from the beginning, the interface can easily become visually overwhelming.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My primary use case for ClickUp is managing end-to-end supply chain and infrastructure projects. Currently, I am using it to oversee the complete setup of a customs warehouse in Serbia. Setting up a facility like this requires strict process control. I use ClickUp to track everything from the initial layout planning and racking installations to the final regulatory approvals from customs authorities.

I really like the ease of integration with ClickUp, especially how I can attach a Gmail to a task card and refer back to it later. It's fantastic for keeping my Gmail inbox empty because I don't just leave an email in my inbox and hope to get back to it later. With ClickUp, I can go ahead and create a task with it or assign it to an existing task, clearing it out of my inbox and knowing with confidence that I'll see it again during the week as I work through my tasks. My boss showed me how to set this up, and after figuring it out, I was completely hooked. Having a zero inbox policy is difficult, but with ClickUp, it's possible as it prevents things from slipping through the cracks. It's extremely valuable.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The Workbook in ClickUp doesn't work as well for me. It looks very simple, but it's actually very complex sometimes, which makes figuring out how to get to things a lot of trial by error. Specifically, in the dashboards, I was trying to figure out a very nice pie chart, but couldn't determine what time period the pie chart was covering or how to adjust it. Also, the training modules initially seem kind of daunting and complex, but I think I'll get better at that through time.

We have more flexibility in our work day and can reference notes quickly in each task, reducing the number of meetings.

There is a bit of a learning curve. Since the platform is so customizable, it took some trial and error to see what features we wanted to use. I like everything about it. And the idea that you could have access to all of these different types of charts right there in it. I also love his rate. That was a big draw for me.

If I’m not mistaken, once you create a project, and choose the types of boards. It doesn’t allow you to remove them. That I’m not a fan of because as someone who’s new to the program sometimes I don’t know what I mean until I don’t need it.

A great app starts with great UI, and they’ve definitely done their work here. Everything lives in one place, and it’s replaced a bunch of scattered tools for me. Tasks and project tracking, documents, time tracking, and goals are all easy to find, update, and keep organized. On top of that, the customer service is excellent, and the tutorial helped me get up to speed quickly. I’ll be using this regularly.

As of now we are on the free forever plan and some features are locked but that will change with a subscription.

I like ClickUp for its chat feature, which is probably my favorite part. The setup for various teams is really helpful, and I appreciate that I can ask the brain function if I forget where something is located, which helps me quickly find what I've discussed. I also love that I can assign tasks directly in a chat, and that I can either hit save for later or assign it immediately to myself or another team member. The super agents that automatically create tasks and assign them to the proper team are a great feature, making it easy to manage client-facing tasks. Overall, it's really easy to use, streamlining the workflow where if one thing is completed, it goes to the next step, which is something I really like.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I had some issues with the integration of my Gmail with ClickUp. The connection would occasionally disconnect automatically, sometimes every day, which was a bit annoying. I didn't always have time to go back and fix it, and it took me a while to remember where to find the connectivity settings, especially since I was new to the app. We also faced some initial speed issues when we first started using ClickUp, but that was 6 months ago and has since improved.

I find ClickUp helps us stay organized, improve team communication across projects, and communicate directly with clients. It streamlines tasks with due dates, priorities, and offers video recordings in chat, simplifying everything in one place.

I love the possibilities that ClickUp provides. It's amazing with everything that it can do. We use it exclusively for our business chat, instead of Discord, which is a big deal for us. It's super helpful for tracking tasks and even does a bit of time tracking. A lot of the ideas I've had for ClickUp have been put into use as time has progressed, which is really satisfying.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the chat feature copuld definitely use a little refinement to make the workspace less cluttered. Right now, mixing chats, tasks, and projects all in the left sidebar gets a bit confusing, so it would make a lot more sense to align the chat to the right side of the screen and give it its own sepearate notification system. Beyond the UI, I also feel like we are missing a massive opportunity by not having a dedicated contacts list that could be linked to projects. It would be incredibly helpful to also be able to log interactions with clients here. Taking it a step further, intigrating phone calls and SMS directly into the platform would be a game changer, especially if it could automatically transcribe those calls and log the text mesages right into the contacts history for additional context.

My favorite thing about clickup is how it holds me accountable on my daily, weekly, and monthly work tasks. It allows myself and my team to have a place to organize the needs for a project while being able to communicate about it all in one place. ClickUp is great at keeping me organized and on task.

I also appreciate the webinars the ClickUp team sends out to keep me aware of current and upcoming features I can take advantage of for my team. It helps to know what is available to make my work life easier.

I'd love a feature that would remind the task owner to close a task once it is complete. One thing my current team is bad at is closing completed tasks and multiple people continue to receive messages about an overdue task even if it was completed.

I like that it keeps myself and my entire team super organized. I can get super granular in projects or see the full picture. The calendar view especially helps me easily see my week at a glance which is huge for project management and keeping on top of deadlines. My entire team has created different views based on the way we work best: for example I use the calendar view but my peers use the list view of the today & overdo view. We are not pidgeonholed into one way of working and are supported by a super customizable experience.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would say there was a little bit of an organizational learning curve as my team switched over. This was our 3rd platform and we used them all slightly differently. But that was an internal learning curve. I think ClickUp has been great. But I have not had any issues with integrations, performance, reliability, etc. ClickUp has been great.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am finally able to see individual tasks and how they funnel up to the larger scale projects. It has been huge to have multiple assignees on tasks and projects, and working cross functionally has never been easier. No other platform has been able to let my team simply do this. We can easily keep everything in one place and work towards bigger projects as a unit, not as segmented teams. Other departments can easily request things of us without messing with our workflow, and all of our documents are extremely organized.

Simple interface it is quick and easy to find tasks and create new ones. The more I learn the easier it becomes to use, they seem to have thought of everything. As a small team of one I don't need the communication aspects so much, but the basic structure for projects management is brilliant!

I use it all day every day and find it simple and easy to use, makes my workflow and understanding much simple and intergrates into my day seamlessly. Simple and easy installation - since upgrading to 4.0 - much easier to use and support is excellent!

Only slight irritation is "required" stuff that I don't need or use but have to be on the home list apparently. All Tasks also not working at all - wanted to remove it and can't

I have found the AI tools incredibly valuable for me. I suffer from Postoperative Cognitive Decline, which means my memory and information processing is a lot slower. Having multiple AI agents to help me throughout my day has been a game changer.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'd love to see a pre-set tool when setting up a new workspace or space where you can explain what type of business you are, how many is in your team and what you want to use it for and it builds you a custom platform. I have built my from scratch as the platform has developed and its taken a lot of work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When managing lots of clients, having a central location to gather information and tasks lists has been helpful. Adding guests to view our social media planners has really helpful is keep planning in one place.
