## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. Complex UI with Challenging Search Capabilities

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp's UI for ticket management pretty simple once our flow is set up. It's easy to move statuses for tickets, and using the UI folder with tags set up is pretty good. When we upload any UI tickets, they automatically apply a UI tag that's visible, which helps a lot. It's also convenient that when users know to upload UI tickets and add them, they get added to our backlog.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Ticket search is pretty bad, it's hard to find what I'm looking for. Searching for 'created by' would be helpful, so tighter search and filters would be really good. Making tags easier to be applied. Sometimes if we drop a UI tag from a ticket, we can't find the ticket anymore in what feels like a huge backlog. Creating tickets is also annoying since dragging from all the way at the bottom to the next 'status' of our flow takes a long time and can easily mess up. I think really making the bulk actions as the primary way to handle tickets would be ideal. During the initial setup, it took a while to migrate the tickets over, and we received a ton of unnecessary notifications about ticket statuses while the migration took place. Additionally, consolidating views for UI tickets took some time along with the 'destructive' nature of making changes. There's a sense of fragility with ClickUp when we use it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for ticket management, improving status flow, ticket creation, and prioritizing which tickets matter. The UI becomes simple once the setup is done, with easy status moves and consistent tagging for tracking UI tickets.

 ### 2. Comprehensive Tool, Smooth Workflow with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kasey C. | Digital Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because it's fast and easy to use with so many tools in one place. I appreciate that I can run my entire business in one program from lead to project completion without needing to use multiple software. This consolidates everything I need and really maximizes the value I get from the tool.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The cost of ClickUp can be a bit much, especially for smaller businesses. Also, the features can get overwhelming sometimes. They're always moving menus around, which makes it hard to keep up with changes. And honestly, the mobile app is super confusing. It's tough to find where everything is.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep tasks organized with recurring reminders, create and share documents, manage content calendars, and CRM. It's fast, easy to use, and consolidates many tools, providing a complete business management solution from lead to project completion.

 ### 3. Clean, Sleek UI with Smooth Integrations for Hassle-Free Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shripal G. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The interface is clean, sleek, and easy to navigate. The app integrates smoothly, which makes collaboration feel straightforward and hassle-free. The Gmail plugin also helps cut down on how often I need to switch over to my email tab, so I can stay focused in one place.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

A large part of the Indian market (especially my clients) runs their business on WhatsApp. Because there’s no direct integration with WhatsApp, I have to rely on a third-party automation tool, which adds extra cost. If there were a way to integrate WhatsApp with Clickup, it would make things much easier for me, even though I’m not a big proponent of WhatsApp as a channel for business communication.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple resources across several departments working on a single project, and as a business owner, Clickup makes task allocation and overall project and manpower management much simpler for me. Now I only need to open one window to get a clear, high-level overview of everything that’s going on. Brainstorming on the Whiteboard is terrific as well. It’s saving me man-hours and helping optimise productivity, even if it’s taking some time to get my team to fully adopt it as their primary work tool. Still, they’ll have to fall in line eventually.

 ### 4. Sleek, Powerful ClickUp That Boosts My Productivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the aesthetics of ClickUp a lot (I came from Monday.com), but as I have learned how to use custom fields, automations, and more, I have really come to appreciate how ClickUp is trying to become a software system for all places. No longer do I view ClickUp as a glorified task management system—I see it as a tool to help me in my productivity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like the bugs that come when new things roll out. I also really miss the original calendar view on the home view I have. And though ClickUp is constantly improving, sometimes I feel they bite off more than they can chew. I would prefer to wait for things to be released and to work smoothly than to have a lot of bugs and kinks that trip me up.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is currently helping us create hubs of information, that way we as a team can all be on the same page.

 ### 5. Streamlines Workflow with Ease, Few Improvements Needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how easy ClickUp is to use, and the different channels it allows me to create. It helps me manage my life without looking overwhelming. As I've gained experience in other areas of my job, I need to communicate with different teams in my organization, and having multiple channels helps me manage different activities from various areas with just one account. It allows me to communicate with the people from that area with a simple click, solving our activities without unnecessary meetings. Overall, we've become more efficient as we can avoid any dead time.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'd love to be able to see the closed activities without having to click on the closed tabs, as of now, it is my only problem.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize my workload by dividing it into tasks to see priorities. It streamlines communication with different teams, preventing unnecessary meetings, making us more efficient, and allows me to manage life without feeling overwhelmed.

 ### 6. Comprehensive Organizer and Save Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alba G. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp allows putting all the information in one place, which saves time and avoids communication problems. It's useful because, by having all the data of a project in a single document within a folder, anyone who is not familiar can see who the client is, the date, and the service involved, which saves time on explanations. Additionally, the tool is easy to use, especially with the basic functions.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's not so much that ClickUp doesn't work, but rather that I think I don't fully know it. I need to explore more options, especially the templates, since our projects are repetitive and I still don't understand them very well. I would also like to learn more about the relationships or dependencies between tasks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize projects and assign them to responsible parties, avoiding communication problems and saving time. It centralizes all the information, facilitating access to project summaries and keeping everyone informed.

 ### 7. The best tool for all types of companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priscila E. | CEO e Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

We can see all about a company in just one place. All processes and projects and have more control and data’s about what is going on

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes we miss some changes that aren’t saved and it takes a lot from the computer to maintain it opened. Also if we do changes in the app, for example using the iPad, this isn’t saved when we use in the computer and we have to do it all again.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clickup helps micro, small and medium businesses to control what is happening. I work with operations and management helping other businesses and I always say to them that Clickup it’s a must have for them.

 ### 8. Intuitive Project Management, Needs Improvement in Search

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawntay S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp easy to use, and it has most of what I need. I like how I can view work in both a Kanban view and a list view; this is great as it allows easy tracking of work status. I appreciate the automations that can, for example, send messages to a ClickUp channel reminding me to check a task. The calculations feature helps in counting items like how long a task has been in a status. I also enjoy using forms to collect feedback and then create task cards from them for review and action. There is a lot to like about ClickUp, and I'd rate it highly because I've set up clients with it, giving it a perfect 10 for recommendations.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't love the search feature. It feels like an upsell to AI Brain. I ended up purchasing AI Brain, but I don't actually understand the value of AI Brain. One of my clients uses ClickUp and they don't have AI Brain and can pretty much do all that I do with AI Brain, except a clean search. Seems like too much of an added fee for little value. Make AI Brain and ClickUp's search independent. I shouldn't have an option to purchase AI for a search. Seems like a money grab.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage team and client projects, understand task status, track productivity, handle internal communication, and get work summaries. It aids in searching content in ClickUp and Google Drive.

 ### 9. Effortless Task Management, Needs Comment Thread Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brielle K. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp’s interface the most, where everything is at my fingertips and easy to see a lot of information at once. It helps me look at my tasks at a glance, organize files within each task, write to my manager and coworkers, and easily navigate task descriptions and deadlines. I find it valuable to see task details, due date, status, comments, and attachments at a glance, as well as upcoming tasks and calendar events in the other window. Setting up ClickUp was pretty straightforward, especially for getting all the dashboards set up and task organization.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The thing that I struggle with is the replies within comments. When you have to click into a comment to see extra replies, sometimes I miss replies that were meant for me because they were buried in a thread. I wish the task comments were only one thread.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me glance at tasks, organize files, and communicate with my team. Its interface puts task details, due dates, status, comments, and attachments all in view, plus, I can manage upcoming tasks and events easily.

 ### 10. Intuitive, Clean Project Management with Flexible Google Workspace Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think it's intuitive and clear as a project management software. It provides endless flexibility for users and useful to integrate as a GSuite user into my Google Calendar and Drive. It's simplicity is the strongest point, it's clear and clean.
Being able to tap into a multitude of experts for customisation and support is great, which comes from the weight and success of it as a programme and one of the main go-tos for Project Management.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find the performance has slowed somewhat as the Ai feautures and integrations are built in. The search function can also lag occassionally.
The high level of flexibility can also lead to choice paralysis, and a need to reach out to experts to develop it for each business need.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Management on a complete scale, tasks, data, responsibilities and deadline management.
Time recording.
Excellent for remote and asynchronous working.
Quick access to information.
Visually clear for links and attachments and abiliity to format text.

 ### 11. User-Friendly Workflow Learning Resources That Make Building and Improving Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosa A. | Business Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I really enjoy is the range of resources available for learning how to build, implement, research, and improve workflows. It’s also very user-friendly and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Certain export features like generating a pdf or not being able to nicely print forms, or to have the option to download your filled out form.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are so many ways it's benefiting the business. For one, after we've imported years of CRM data, project data, we have better searchability to see where we are lacking, who is not relevant anymore, and to view projects on a map. All things that were not easily possible previously.

 ### 12. Automated Project Management, Needs Better Training Resources

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ghufran m. | Product Research Specialist | E-commerce and DTC Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like the channels in ClickUp, where we communicate and manage different projects on a single platform. It’s super helpful for organizing everything efficiently. The automation features are also great; they allow me to create different milestones and templates that can be applied at any time and any place, which is really time-saving. I feel that this automation aspect of ClickUp is much better compared to what we used before. It helps me automate stuff and manage projects really well.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I found it really difficult to learn how to use templates and each automation feature. I had to figure it out on my own, mostly by watching YouTube videos and through trial and error. There should be an AI or a guide to help when I'm stuck. The training part definitely needs improvement.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to save time by managing multiple projects simultaneously, preventing me from getting lost. It integrates customer service, product development, and project management to streamline everything on a single platform. It also offers useful channels and automation for easier project management.

 ### 13. User-Friendly Task Management with Minor Navigation Hurdles

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Waqas A. | Software QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like most about ClickUp is its very user-friendly interface. It's clean and sleek, making it easy for me to use. The color schemes and navigation are things I enjoy about ClickUp. In the workspaces, it's easy to see the different spaces on the left side, and channels and direct messages are clear to me. I can easily see the list view and board view of any data, which makes it pretty easy to navigate and manage tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it was not easy for me to upload images inside a ticket, especially in the ticket details view. As a new user, it was a bit difficult for me to understand how to upload the image. But later on, I got used to it and was able to use it correctly. Also, the navigation might need some improvement. In the list view of any project, there's a lot on the screen, so it would be easier if only the necessary things were shown instead of everything. That would be a more user-friendly approach.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task management. Initially, uploading images was challenging, but I adapted. It streamlines task navigation with a user-friendly interface, making it easy to manage projects.

 ### 14. Streamlined Project Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pallang M. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage projects, log tasks, and keep track of performance as part of the CS team. It solves my customer success workflow problems, enhances team collaboration, and improves project management efficiency. I really appreciate that it keeps everything in one place, offering super great visibility. I love the new super agents, and being recognized as a ClickUp Power User was a unique experience compared to other tools I've used. The automations are particularly valuable, making tracking seamless. I can train workspace triggers, automate status updates, task assignments, and more. It's like bliss having everything automated by the triggers I select. The initial setup was easy for me, and I found ClickUp to be somewhat similar to Asana.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I can't think of any specific issues, but maybe if they could introduce more formal invoicing and billing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage projects, log tasks, and keep track of performance. It solves Customer Success Workflow problems, improves team collaboration, and enhances project management efficiency.

 ### 15. Efficient All-in-One Workspace, But Clutters UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darshan M. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how ClickUp helps me manage my tasks and docs in one single workspace, which ensures our team stays updated throughout the process and no one misses any important tickets. I especially like the Brain MAX and AI Agents, as I use them a lot. They keep everything in sync and help us move faster without getting bogged down in non-productive tasks. The initial setup of ClickUp was easy and hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes having multiple features in a single workspace makes the overall interface look bloated and cluttered. It would be good if the interface could be simplified when working with large scale projects and there's too much on the interface.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me manage tasks and docs in one workspace, keeping my team updated and ensuring no tickets are missed. It syncs everything efficiently and AI agents boost our productivity by handling non-productive tasks.

 ### 16. All In One, Easy Integration, But Needs Configuration Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelly A. | Customer Success Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp in my daily work routine, and my entire work routine is managed within it. I like having everything on a single platform and the ease of integration with other tools, especially with Google Calendar, which makes it easier to organize tasks and events without the risk of overlapping activities at the same time. Task management is something that works especially well for me. Additionally, I found the initial setup of ClickUp very intuitive, without difficulties.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I believe that if it were possible to configure more the events created for my Google or Teams calendar within ClickUp, it would make things much easier. If it were possible to access the email inbox and respond from within ClickUp, it would help a lot too. Here I need to create calendar links for the company's trainers, and for that, to put another person as a co-organizer of the event in Teams, for example, I need to leave ClickUp and access Teams, create and configure the event there, and then return to ClickUp.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for organizing demands, prioritizing tasks, and understanding how much time I spend on each activity. This gives me predictability of my time. I like having everything on one platform and the ease of integration with other tools.

 ### 17. Flexible, User-Friendly, and Powerful Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo Jose V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp easy to use for the entire team, which is great. I really like the flexibility and the flexible apps that ClickUp offers. The data I can input into the database is really rich and useful for follow-ups in every kind of task, post-sale, and in sales pipelines. It's very viable because it allows for smooth transitions between team members, making sure everyone knows what was solved for a client and can give the correct follow-up and closure.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I know they're already working on customized fields for different task types, and that will be amazing because right now it's the one thing I don't really love. But, also, I would love some real-time form calculator for the dashboard screen.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp gave me order and communication, also control over tasks. It ensures that our client pipeline is well attended.

 ### 18. Intuitive and Customizable for Seamless Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jade D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how intuitive a lot of the list/view and filter features are for our team to use or quickly learn. I personally like using custom fields and super agents or automations to make our data and workflows even more powerful. The custom fields allow our teams to organize many of our different types of operations and information easily, while allowing us to cross-reference things across different views. I've found automations useful for setting task templates, adding subtasks, and checklists when needed to push projects along without having to manually update everything. The integration with HubSpot for our sales, leads, quoting, and invoicing is also set up and works well.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think a warning of potential duplicate/similar custom fields could be helpful because like I mentioned, we have some fields that could've been used across lists instead of creating another similar field. I also would like to see more powerful connections when it comes to relationships between lists.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us manage projects and data more accurately, reducing errors by connecting information that was previously isolated in Google Sheets.

 ### 19. Comprehensive Scheduling with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alana G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp has so many options to keep tabs and have multiple schedules. It really helps me to maintain both my lifestyle and my business. I use it to set reminders and stay on task with certain things, which is very helpful since I juggle my bakery business and my school work. It's great for marking off assignments, making grocery lists, and ensuring that I apply to scholarships and complete homework assignments.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Honestly it is pretty useful, but I wish that it was a little more detailed in how to use the website itself, because that's what I really struggled with. Just how to use and organize more efficiently. The initial setup was easy, but I was a little confused on how to use it overall.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to set reminders and stay on task with my business and school work, keeping multiple schedules organized and marking off assignments and grocery lists.

 ### 20. Tools that go a bit Beyond Basic Project Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It’s flexible and includes a number of solid tools that add features beyond basic project tracking. Pricing at lower tiers is good, although some features may be missing. Support is responsive. AI features offer some enhancements, but sometimes fall short. They are being refined and improved all the time, however.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some of the tools can be limited. The UI is inconsistent and sometimes actively gets in the way. Integrations with other apps and systems are a mixed bag, but generally pretty decent. Performance can be slow at times, but is generally acceptable.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's our source of truth tool for project tracking on a SaaS development team. Dashboards are particularly nice for filtering work for individuals and showing stakeholders where things are in the system. We use some of the other features like AI for generating first drafts of docs, release notes, etc.

 ### 21. Easy Project Tracking for Complex, Nested To-Dos

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie S. | Junior Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how easy it is to keep track of complicated to-dos that have nested items and group together into projects.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile app doesn't have a simple mode. I ended up using To-doist on my pbone because I like their simple app . Click up provides way more functionality but sometimes I just want to whittle that down to only certain options when I'm mobile

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just keeping organized. I can throw all my checklists and mental notes into one ticket which really helps me make sure I don't miss anything and have Ito look up later when I need a refresh on that project.

 ### 22. Versatile Productivity Tool with Room for App Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fotios T. | Civil Engineering & HSE Advisor

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like that ClickUp helps me keep everything in one place, which is crucial for organizing myself. I can share files, take notes on the go, and write down descriptions, and I appreciate that AI can be used with all these features together. The flexibility and adaptability of ClickUp are also great, as I need different approaches for different tasks. The fact that I have one place to write down what I do for every task and track what needs to be completed is very important when returning to projects. Starting up was also very easy because I used the AI to help me get started.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile app could be better and the extra cost for all AI functions. Also too much notifications. When I open the app, the interface is not similar to the one that I have created in desktop. I don't know if this is adaptable.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps everything organized in one place for my diverse roles, helping me manage tasks across work and personal life. It supports file sharing and note-taking, and its AI adapts to my needs, boosting my productivity without a permanent team.

 ### 23. Highly Customizable Statuses That Fit Our Team’s Structure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah G. | Digital Media Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

My favorite part of ClickUp is that you can customize the statues based on which space you're in. Our team is split into two sides that use ClickUp collaboratively and uniquely to each half of the team. This customization is incredibly helpful because of our structure.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I really wish that you could place a due date on action items. Sometimes we have to get into the nitty gritty with those.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a large review process for creative aspects of the marketing team and the ability to create a workflow that actually works is something that ClickUp has done a great job at solving.

 ### 24. ClickUp: complete and ever-evolving project management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea Q. | Teacher, musician and contents creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It’s a great way to manage projects with AI, time management, document creation, chat, and plenty of other tools. ClickUp still surprises me almost every week, especially when I see the updates and the new features they’ve implemented.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some aspects weren’t immediately clear to me at the beginning. At first, it can come across as complicated, and it took me a little time to understand how everything fits together.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every day, this app has become my point of reference and the first one I open before I start work, because it gives me a clear overview of what I need to do each day.

 ### 25. Solid Tool with Potential Improvements Needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wanderson J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think my experience with ClickUp has been pretty solid. I resubscribed to it because of a recent change that made the app more solid. I like its simplicity; it's really simple to use overall. The workspace feature is what I value the most because it helps me stay more organized. I like that it allows me to create the workspace and customize the fields depending on the type of workspace I'm creating, which is pretty cool. Also, the initial setup of ClickUp was easy.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The navigation and the AI agents are confusing as ****. I feel like ClickUp is too closed off. I can't really, like, use it with tools like Claude. I want to do a big brain dump but can't, so I think I need to build my own tool for that.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task management overall. It helps track time and projects, keeping related tasks organized, even though it can be confusing sometimes.

 ### 26. Makes Cross-Functional Collaboration Easy Across Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilia G. | Partnerships Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that it makes cross-functional collaboration within the company easier, especially on projects where multiple teams need to coordinate and finalize their tasks in order to complete the work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don’t like that I sometimes get lost between projects and workspaces, since so many teammates use them and create new ones. It also took me some time to get used to the way everything is organized.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the burden of informal communication and task assignment between teams. Oftentimes information would get lost and projects would take longer to conclude because we would be working across different platforms and messaging systems like slack

 ### 27. Excellent interface, but bugs interfere

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergey K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the ClickUp interface and the artificial intelligence integrated into it. What I like most is that the API is open, and I was able to connect my own artificial intelligence to ClickUp. This is very convenient, as the agent can perform tasks and compile requirements, saving me about 90% of the time on routine work. I also like the design of ClickUp and the overall vibe of the platform.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I categorically dislike the tabular format in ClickUp, the table is just terrible, unfortunately, they are impossible to use, and I have to insert Google Sheets everywhere, whose functionality is, of course, significantly better and more pleasant. Also, documents do not work very well, frequent bugs and unexpected behavior are noticeable, for example, if you make the text bold and then remove the bold formatting, the cursor for some inexplicable reason moves to the very end of the text. This is just one of many bugs that occur when working with documents, I write requirements quite often, and this is extremely inconvenient for me. The bugs are mainly related to formatting. Further regarding the RoadMap, it is not very convenient to use because there are large delays, and the representation you have initially appealed to me and it would be interesting to continue interacting with it, but I understand that due to these lags, it is much easier for me to enter everything I have into Google Sheets.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to systematize and structure information and make it a single source of truth for teams working on products. This helps my team become more organized and efficient.

 ### 28. Customizable and Centralized Academic Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how customizable and all-in-one ClickUp is. It lets me keep my tasks, notes, and projects all in one place, which makes it much easier to stay organized. Having everything centralized makes work and personal responsibilities much simpler and less overwhelming. ClickUp helps me stay organized by centralizing assignments, research deadlines, and classes all in one system, solving the problem of scattered information. It also aids in prioritization and time management. The initial setup was pretty easy, even though it took some time to figure out the layout.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I have had some regularly occurring issues signing in or receiving reset emails, but for the most part it's amazing!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me stay organized by centralizing assignments, research deadlines, and classes in one system, solving scattered information issues. It's customizable, aiding task management and priority setting, making my busy schedule simpler and less overwhelming.

 ### 29. A powerful execution system for fast-moving teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanmuga D. | AI Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is extremely flexible and works well as a single execution system across teams. At GobbleCube, we use it to manage GTM, CSM, product, automation, and internal operations in one place. The biggest strength is how customizable everything is. Custom fields, task hierarchies, dependencies, automations, and views let us model our real business workflows instead of forcing us into a rigid structure. Once set up properly, it replaces multiple tools and reduces a lot of manual coordination.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main limitation is reporting and analytics. ClickUp does not have strong native pivot tables or advanced data analysis capabilities. For teams that rely heavily on metrics, aggregations, and slicing data in different ways, this becomes a gap. We often need to export data to Google Sheets or external tools to do deeper analysis. Improving built-in pivots and reporting would make ClickUp significantly stronger.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us centralize execution and accountability across the company. Before ClickUp, work was fragmented across Slack, spreadsheets, and multiple tools. Now, every task, dependency, SLA, and owner is visible in one system. This has reduced follow-ups, improved delivery timelines, and made cross-team coordination much smoother. For GobbleCube, ClickUp also acts as the backbone for automation, where tasks are created and updated automatically based on events from CRM and data systems.

 ### 30. Effective Tool for Support–Tech Coordination and Issue Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric . | Customer Onboarding and Support Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how customizable it is. As a company user, I can organize tasks in a way that genuinely fits our workflow, whether I’m working in lists, boards, or timelines. Features like task priorities, due dates, comments, and file attachments make it easy to track work and collaborate with team members in one place. I also appreciate that everything is centralized, so I don’t have to jump between multiple tools just to understand a task’s status, overall progress, or the latest updates.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp offers a wide range of features, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first—especially for new users. In a very large or heavily customized workspace, it can sometimes take extra time to locate specific tasks. Performance may also feel slightly slow when you’re working with a high number of tasks. Overall, though, these are minor issues and they don’t take away from the platform’s usefulness.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve the problem of unstructured communication between our Support and Tech teams. Before using it, tracking issue progress and managing follow-ups was time-consuming and relied heavily on manual reminders. With ClickUp, each concern is clearly documented, tracked, and updated in real time. This makes it easier for me to follow up efficiently, share accurate updates with clients, and ensure issues aren’t missed or delayed. Overall, it has significantly improved coordination, transparency, and efficiency across our support workflow.

 ### 31. Seamless Property Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** walker d. | Senior Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because it's a very seamless software that plugs into our data really well and is pretty easy to use. The customer service is great, and I really like how we can review things very clearly with it. The initial setup is very easy and quick, with no complaints, which makes ClickUp suitable for my fast-paced environment. We rely heavily on its tools, which improve our business efficiency. It's definitely a great software that we use every day.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'd like it if there was an option for sending around a datasheet at the end of calls or using the software, like a summary or having an AI tool that would submit improvements. That would be helpful.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to review property data and communicate with our managers. It streamlines data analytics, enhances communication during calls, and improves troubleshooting and financial reporting.

 ### 32. Intuitive UI, Effortless Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fam P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp the most because of its UI design. It's straightforward but also has features to customize what needs to be set up. The color coding is very helpful to me; it lets me be reminded of what needs to be done just by taking a glimpse at the color without needing to read the whole thing. I also find ClickUp very comfortable to use due to its user-friendly nature, especially for my personal tasks. The initial setup was exceptionally smooth for me, I'd rate it an 11 out of 10. I always go back to it whenever I feel overwhelmed with my tasks, and ClickUp hasn't disappointed me yet. Everything I need, ClickUp has it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

None

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps organize my workload, particularly as a freelancer with multiple tasks, and keeps track of job applications, reminding me of pending replies and interviews. I also appreciate its straightforward UI design and customization options.

 ### 33. Highly Customizable Project Tracking with Chat, Proof Uploads, and Full History

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew L. | Communication Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the combination of features - the high level of customization has allowed me to toggle the status of projects, discuss it in the chat, upload proofs and track everything. I can later go back and see everything that was done.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Too many notifications - even though most can be turned off, there are some that can't. I get notified every time I'm assigned a task which amounts to dozens of emails every week. I don't need that notification because tasks appear in my list when they're assigned, so I'll see them anyway.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workflow - all of my work tasks get assigned and tracked within clickup

 ### 34. Flexible and Efficient, but Requires Learning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas P. | Software Engineer | Typescript | Node | Nest.js | Postgres, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp daily as a developer at the company where I work, and it helps me keep everything organized, especially when I'm dealing with multiple tasks and priorities at the same time. I really like the option to set priorities, something I find very interesting for work management tools. One of the main positive points of ClickUp is its flexibility, as I can easily see tasks in subtasks, organize everything into lists and sprints, and visualize my progress in a very visual way both in lists and table format. This helps a lot in day-to-day activities. Another thing I really like is the ability to brainstorm as a team, where everyone can fill in the board and discuss solutions. ClickUp supports these amazing functionalities, which we use a lot in the company. The option to move tasks to sprints easily and intuitively is also something I find very interesting and good. I like being able to use whiteboards for brainstorming and also to keep documentation within ClickUp itself.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I feel that I had some difficulty because it was very confusing at the beginning, due to the high flexibility, especially for new users. I also felt that, at times, the platform was somewhat slow, especially when dealing with many items. It also requires some initial setup time to be able to fully utilize the platform. The integration with ClickUp could be improved with Bitbucket, especially compared to Jira.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep everything organized, set priorities, and view tasks in subtasks. The flexibility helps a lot in daily life, and it allows me to organize my progress visually. It is a robust and customizable tool for project management. I can also keep documentation on a single platform, unlike when it was necessary to use Jira and Notion.

 ### 35. Versatile PM Tool with a Friendly UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel M. | Technical Project Manager & Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp's UI is pretty friendly and how easy it is to train others on it once you build out a space. It's great for organizing multiple projects in major programs. It's like a happy middle ground between random physical organization and highly structured methods, which makes it valuable. I've been having an absolutely fantastic time with it, and I've recommended it to peers and other companies. Even though I wasn't sold on it at first, coming from Asana, after using it for a month and a half, I'm finding it a lot better. It's a really nice software.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some of the templates seem a little restrictive, and there could be a lot more. Sometimes the AI misses the mark when I ask for help, but that's not something I care about too much. Having more templates or versions of templates that are empty would be helpful. Some templates come with a bunch of prefilled examples that you have to go through and delete. Alternate versions of those templates and just more templates in general would be nice, as there are specific scenarios where I'd want to tailor a space, which is a big part of project management.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management across multiple major projects. The UI is friendly, making it easy to train others after setting up a space. It's a valuable middle ground between basic organization and complex tools, making it accessible for everyone.

 ### 36. Versatile and Customizable, but with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerardo Manuel R. | Especialista en Datos y Proyectos (Analista de Datos, Proyectos y Gobernanza Digital), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to centralize the management of my projects, automate workflows, and visualize key performance indicators on a single platform. I like its versatility for customizing views and hierarchies, which allows the tool to be adapted exactly to my data processes. I integrate ClickUp with Salesforce, PowerBI, and SQL to automate data extraction and synchronize project tracking in real-time. In my work team, more than 10 people take advantage of the collaboration features without losing control over task segmentation.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is somewhat steep and the platform's performance can become slow when handling very large volumes of data.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes project management, automates workflows, and visualizes key indicators on one platform. It resolves information dispersion by consolidating tasks and documents, eliminating operational bottlenecks.

 ### 37. Time-Saving Task Management That Keeps Me on Track

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brij Sen S. | Assistant Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

This is very time-saving and not a burden for me, because I don’t have to remember all the tasks I do regularly—daily, weekly, and monthly. It’s a very useful task management tool for managing my tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Nothing to dislike overall, but one thing I don’t like is the dashboard. It can be slow and sometimes freezes, so I think it would be better if the ClickUp team worked on improving it. This seems to happen when there’s a large number of tasks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has saved me time by helping me remember critical deadlines, like payroll, financial tasks, and tax filing dates. I also integrated it with Hubstaff, so I can easily track those tasks and keep everything within the given budget.

 ### 38. Customizable but Needs Improved Nesting and Navigation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittni A. | CRM and Systems Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp can be customized with multiple fields and that it is easy to create different views for different people, allowing different users to create their own views. This customization is helpful because it enables team members to see the information they need, which is actually helpful to them. The custom fields let us easily track various internal items, and the different views are beneficial because different team members can work in a way that makes sense for them, preventing them from being bogged down with something that isn't working.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I wish that there was a way to nest tasks further. So rather than just the main task and the subtask, that you could nest tasks even further than that. And I definitely find the navigation could be a bit simpler.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, keeping the team aligned with a high-level project overview. The custom fields and different views allow team members to work in ways that suit them, providing information relevant to their needs and keeping us organized without unnecessary complexity.

 ### 39. Seamless Project Management with AI Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abid F. | Senior SDET, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like ClickUp for its AI integration that lets me update multiple tasks with a single prompt. The automation features and dashboard view are main aspects I rely on. Automation has been a game changer, like automatically assigning tasks in a project when they're overdue, which helps a lot. I love how simple and powerful ClickUp is, especially with its AI capabilities. The setup was super easy, and the integration with Slack is helpful for increasing tasks directly from there. Overall, I find most things ClickUp does are very well done, and I love using them.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some flow diagrams of the project could be improved. In a flow, I would like to see an update of where we are, meaning a diagrammatical update or view of the project might be helpful.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, helping us organize tasks, stay on track, and have visibility across projects. Its AI and automation features streamline updates, and the dashboard view offers insights. It's simple yet powerful, eliminating the need for technical expertise.

 ### 40. Gamified Experience with Robust Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that ClickUp is quite gamified, which makes it interesting and unique to use. It's really fun to watch when I set blockers for certain tasks, open the gateway once the parent task is complete, and then see all the subtasks getting ticked off. The colors and makeup of the interface remind me of a gaming experience and keep me entertained while doing my job. I also appreciate how pretty the user interface of ClickUp is, especially since I work at night and can switch to dark mode, making it easier on the eyes. Everything is clear and the colors help me navigate and understand what's happening, especially when I add tags for various departments and run scrum meetings. I think the seamless workflow and design of the app makes it really easy and fun for me to use. Additionally, the filtering tools are quite powerful, making navigation through my company's numerous folders and subfolders much easier.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think something that could be improved is task reminders. If I set up a task for my paid media specialist to run and allocate four and a half hours over five days, the task shows up in the workload across all those days, but there is no reminder each day. It's not clear how the total time is divided over the days, which could be confusing. I think it would be cool to have the option to split the task into individual daily tasks with reminders for each day, as opposed to manually setting up five separate tasks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for understanding tasks, writing descriptions, automating workflows with AI agents. It helps set up monthly retainers, team communication, and gives me nudges for follow-ups when overwhelmed.

 ### 41. Customizable and User-Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen G. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like ClickUp's easy UI, which makes it simple for all our teammates, regardless of their department, to check their daily tasks and comments. I am loving the new agents that simplify and assist with daily and weekly tasks. These agents provide reminders, adjust dates, give suggestions, and more. The customizable nature of ClickUp is very helpful, allowing us to adapt and automate processes in ways that suit our needs, enabling us to explore new possibilities.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The computer app, I constantly see bugs or errors with the app. I had to stop using it overall. The phone app I do use occasionally. I also sometimes see a lot of lag or even error with simple things like duplicating a task but then it doesn't appear. When in the workload view sometimes it is hard to click on something to open it, I have to click it in a special way and a couple of times sometimes before a task is opened. Or I change assignees on that view but it doesn't update - I need to fully refresh the webpage. I usually don't mind the 'slowness' but when things disappear because CU didn't load it correctly it's a bit annoying.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us see team workloads, plan for freelancers, centralize client information, and track tasks easily. The easy UI and customizability allow every team member to manage their tasks independently. New agents simplify daily tasks by automating reminders and updates.

 ### 42. ClickUp Boosts Performance with Great Gmail Integration and Strong ROI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really enjoy using the Gmail integration to create tasks directly from my emails for myself or my team. I have two different roles at my job, and they definitely improve my performance in both roles, especially for our monthly bookkeeping tasks. It's fairly easy to onboard new clients onto ClickUp, our project management system. Onboarding new employees to understand how our team uses ClikcUp is a lot to take in. We do appreciate the number of tutorials listed online to assist with this. We do not use AI or other forms of intelligence at my job due to the negative environmental impacts. I do not know how much ClickUp costs, but I do know that the pricing does not outweigh the benefits. We previously used Karbon and Trello - ClickUp is far superior, and the ROI is great! I would say the UI/ UX is overall great. I do not really enjoy the most recent update to the menu, but it's not the end of the world, it's just a few extra Clicks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's a bit complex and requires a lot of learning. I feel like if there were ClickUp tests to check whether we really understand something, it would save me a lot of time from fixing automations. I do wish subtasks could have automations that were set from the original task.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management, specifically with onboarding new clients. now we add them to ClickUp so they can see where we are at in the process with onboarding them which reduces communication about statuses, or makes it easier to troubleshoot if there are questions.

 ### 43. Versatile Project Management with Room for AI Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor R. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for project management for my company and ministries I support. I like that it has a large number of features and is very flexible. I can manage projects, chat, do virtual calls, manage my calendar, and use AI agents to assist with work. Chat helps me communicate efficiently with the team, and having tasks in the same software makes it easy to reference and move from chat to making tasks. The virtual calls make transitioning from chat to talking seamless. The AI agents help with general email and calendar assistance, competitive research, as well as grant research and planning. The initial setup was very easy. I have about 19 people using ClickUp together in my workspace. I also connect it with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, GitHub, and Zoom.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I wish there was more connections and abilities with the AI agents, such as being able to forward emails to AI agents for them to handle, and that AI agents can call other agents. I also wish more PMBOK practices EVM metrics were built in.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, tracking progress across projects, managing team workload, and communicating efficiently. Its flexibility with features like chat, virtual calls, and AI agents for email and calendar assistance make it seamless and efficient.

 ### 44. Flexible and Customizable, Ideal for Marketing Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas S. | Gerente de Performance Digital, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the customization options for each list in ClickUp. Each team works in its own way, with a different dynamic, and this possibility of having lists with completely different settings, but all in the same space, is the best way. The autonomy for each coordinator or project manager is what makes ClickUp more valuable, greatly facilitating the implementation of ClickUp for teams that do not yet use it, as they can configure the list according to the way they were already working on another platform.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The communication channels do not work well. This functionality ends up competing with Microsoft Teams, which we use daily. We practically do not use the communication channels... only the functionality of tagging people and interacting within tasks. The same goes for direct messages. We do not use them, and it would be very difficult for us to use them, since Teams is the official communication tool for the entire company.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to centralize content and suppliers with different partner agencies. The customization of lists allows autonomy for coordinators, making it easier to adapt teams with different dynamics.

 ### 45. Effective All-in-One Project Management, Busy Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Orlando C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the ability to see all my work in a single view. It's the best tool for seeing all my team's work at once and planning based on bandwidth. Using tags across multiple lists and spaces is invaluable for future planning, as it helps me and my team, along with leadership and clients, to manage workload effectively.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Over time, more dashboard cards have become unavailable on our current plan. The new interface is quite busy and sometimes difficult to find a particular list or folder to work in. Some basic cards like overdue tasks, total tasks, open tasks are not supported, and cards in dashboards seem to be limited to fewer options now. Google Drive links fail quite often, as do the email links. The initial setup was moderately difficult, mainly in setting up structure and standards for consistent use across the board.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to track tasks in financial consulting and as a complete PM solution in construction and software implementation. It helps me plan by viewing all work in one place, distributing workload, and preventing overexertion.

 ### 46. Highly Customizable, Powerful Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jojo G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for organizing a wide variety of tasks, including client intake for my charter business, tracking social media projects, and managing standard to-do lists. What I like most about ClickUp is its organization system, where the calendar, task lists, and boards all work seamlessly together. This is especially helpful for visualizing projects in different phases at a glance, using color coding to tell me exactly where a project stands. It's extremely helpful for a creative person like me, where projects need to move through different stages. I also appreciate the forms feature, which I'm diving into more deeply, hoping it will help smooth things out on the back end with client intake. But, in general, my favorite aspect is how everything works together and allows me to visualize all my projects, leaving more room for creativity. Additionally, I appreciate how I can see previews of Google Docs within ClickUp, which is handy for integrating my existing workflows.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp has a steep learning curve, especially for someone like me who hasn't used project management software before. The syncing between ClickUp and my Google Calendar isn't great. It appears cluttered on my calendar, and I've somehow ended up doubling my tasks. Some settings are a bit buried and unclear, making it frustrating sometimes as I feel like I'm only using a fraction of ClickUp's capabilities. The initial setup was challenging for me, mostly because I overbuilt my setup and had to reorganize. It felt more challenging than necessary since I didn't have prior experience with project management software.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for managing client intake, tracking social media projects, organizing to-do lists, and accessing business links. It helps me create separate workspaces for different businesses, keeping everything organized and out of my head, allowing more room for creativity.

 ### 47. Easy UI and strong automations, but dashboards and reporting feel too limited

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Task management, automations, easy to use UI for new project managers/not tech savvy folks. Integrations with microsoft products, ability to segment lists for faster loading times. Lot of features for the price. Onboarding and support offerings for basic tiered plans, Clickup Brain is good for creating tasks in bulk from docs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Very narrow reporting structure in dashboards, needs to be more complex.
Bugs can be submitted to support, but tickets close without providing an update on the bug resolution, just that it's with the development team.
AI pushed heavily, no ability to turn it off AI fields specifically without disabling AI features entirely.
Needs a nested doc structure with folders, not just every doc in one place.
Better automation capabilities. Need the ability to fill fields based on the first field value, count distinct occurences in fields, power-user features.
Allow rollup fields to be used in dashboards. Ability to manipulate data, provide formulas, etc in dashboard cards.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task tracking, measuring progress, and various doc refinements through wikis, automated task updating, dependencies and shared collaboration.

 ### 48. Flexibility and Optimization with ClickUp, but Could Improve in Time Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heitor V. | Parceiro de desenvolvimento de negócios, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the flexibility of ClickUp above all. The control of automations, data structuring, and permissioning are aspects I value greatly. Additionally, the features of the AI Brain and Superagents are incredible for me, literally functioning as a second brain and helping to ensure a functional workflow. This well-constructed combination of tools brings me great life optimization.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Hours Control, there is no functional cross-checking of tracked hours with planned hours, nor with the value of those estimated and spent hours. Honestly, it's complicated for someone who doesn't know. For me, at the beginning, it was confusing and without much direction. ClickUp lacks something that guides the initial setup. Similar to what Pipedrive and Monday do.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp resolves the lack of clarity and optimizes time with balanced workloads and a predictive view. I use automations, structure data, and organize permissions, improving workflows and using the AI Brain as support, which optimizes my life.

 ### 49. Streamlined Task Management with ClickUp's Board View

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge de Jesús U. | Director de operaciones, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp really helps me with organizing my daily activities. The board view is excellent for seeing the status of all my activities and keeps everything in order. It's also great for giving attention to the older tasks. Another thing I like is that ClickUp has a better UX than Asana, making it easier to use and understand for new team members. The initial setup was easy and very fast, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It doesn't work that I can see a free report of the activities we do on the week. I want to know the activities done by the team on the week and the activities they have open.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize daily activities and track their status in one view with the board view. It lets me focus on older tasks that need attention.

 ### 50. Feature-Rich but Overwhelming UI

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan T.

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I was impressed with the range of features that ClickUp has. It essentially has most of the features that I would expect in a project management platform, making it easy to create task lists with custom columns. I like being able to link between lists in different projects, and having the same task appear simultaneously in multiple projects is very useful. Also, the reporting features looked promising.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I found that the user interface was a bit overwhelming. There are so many features and options and so many places to click. It took me a lot of exploring and it felt like there was a lot of visual clutter. I tend to prefer a little bit more streamlined interface. I did find certain features a little bit challenging because the interface was so busy.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to create sprint plans, giving me a clear view of daily and weekly tasks, and how they connect to larger projects.
