"All-in-One Project Hub with Powerful Views, Automation, and AI"

What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like most about ClickUp is that it brings task management, project planning, team collaboration, documentation, and progress tracking into a single platform. The interface feels modern and adaptable, and the multiple views—such as List, Board, Calendar, and Gantt—make it easy to organize work based on different project needs. Features like custom statuses, priorities, due dates, and task assignments help keep everyone aligned and make progress easier to follow.

ClickUp also integrates well with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and other productivity apps, which helps reduce context switching and keeps information in one place. I find the customization options and automation features especially useful for cutting down repetitive manual work and improving team efficiency. Performance is generally solid when managing multiple projects, and the ability to tailor workflows makes it a good fit for different teams and working styles.

I also appreciate ClickUp’s AI capabilities, which can help summarize information, generate content, and make day-to-day work more efficient. The onboarding resources and support documentation make it easier to learn the platform and get started. Given the breadth of features available, ClickUp offers good value for money by reducing the need for multiple separate productivity tools. Overall, it improves visibility, accountability, and collaboration while keeping project-related information centralized in one workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that the interface can feel overwhelming for new users due to the sheer number of features, settings, and customization options. Moving between multiple spaces, folders, lists, and tasks can take extra time, and the learning curve can be steep for teams that are just getting started. Performance also occasionally slows down when working on large projects or when switching between more complex views.

Some integrations require additional configuration to work smoothly, and keeping notifications relevant can be difficult when you’re managing several projects at once. While the AI features are helpful, their accuracy and overall usefulness can vary depending on the task, and some of the more advanced capabilities may require higher-tier plans. The pricing structure could also be easier to understand, especially when trying to evaluate which plan offers the best value for a team.

Onboarding guides and support resources are useful, but more interactive tutorials—and faster resolution for complex technical issues—would improve the overall experience. Overall, I’d like to see a simpler interface, more consistent performance, clearer pricing, smoother integrations, and more context-aware AI features that deliver reliable results with less manual correction.
