"A Complete Game-Changer for Centralizing Complex Team Workflows"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

All-in-one flexibility: It replaces multiple separate tools by combining task management, Docs, whiteboards, time tracking, and chat in one workspace.

Customizable hierarchy & views: The structure (Workspaces > Spaces > Folders > Lists > Tasks) adapts easily to any workflow, with instant switching between List, Board, Gantt, Calendar, and Table views.

Powerful native automations: Routine actions—like reassigning tasks, updating statuses, or triggering deadlines—are easy to automate without third-party integrations.

Granular custom fields: Every list can track exact project data (priority, budget, progress, tags) tailored to specific team needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Steep learning curve: The sheer volume of features, hierarchy levels, and settings can overwhelm new team members, requiring significant onboarding time.

Occasional lag and sluggishness: Because it tries to do everything, the web and desktop apps can feel heavy and slow to load, especially in workspaces with large databases.

Feature clutter / feature bloat: With frequent new additions, some features feel half-baked or create unnecessary UI clutter for teams that just want straightforward task tracking.

Mobile app limitations: The mobile experience lacks the smoothness of the desktop version, making complex navigation and task editing clunky on the go.

Overly complex notifications: If not carefully configured from day one, default notification settings quickly flood inboxes and in-app feeds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
