"Innovative, Flexible Workflows and a lot of flexibility in one platform"

What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like most about ClickUp is how innovative and flexible it is compared to other project management tools. I regularly use its customizable workflows, custom fields, Docs, automations, and dashboards to bring different parts of my work into one place. It has helped me build automations around how my team actually works instead of forcing us to adapt to a rigid system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

One area that could be improved is the frequency of product changes and updates. ClickUp evolves very quickly, which is great for innovation, but frequent changes can sometimes introduce glitches or bugs and make certain workflows less stable. For example, a few days ago, I was unable to set the status colors in my Sales Pipeline as intended: I wanted red for “Lost” and green for “Won,” but ClickUp automatically assigned the opposite colors. Interestingly, the next day, the colors appeared correctly without me changing anything. Issues like this can be confusing and reduce confidence in the system. What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using ClickUp, I had to manage projects, tasks, documentation, workflows, and sales activities across different tools, which made it harder to maintain a clear overview. With ClickUp, I can bring these processes into one workspace and customize them around how I actually work.

It has helped me centralize project information, standardize recurring processes, track sales opportunities, and create more structured workflows using custom fields, statuses, Docs, automations, dashboards, and AI capabilities such as Brain². I also appreciate practical features such as T-shirt sizing for estimating effort, which I haven’t seen in several other project management tools I’ve used.

The biggest benefit for me is flexibility. Instead of adapting my workflow to the limitations of the software, I can configure ClickUp around how I actually work. This reduces the need to switch between multiple tools and makes it much easier to see what needs attention and where each project or opportunity stands.

Another benefit is the flexibility of ClickUp’s pricing and user access model. The ability to add guests makes it easier to collaborate with clients, external stakeholders, or other contributors without giving everyone full access to the workspace.

The support experience has also been positive. When I recently had an issue with a ticket that had been waiting for 48 hours, the support representative took the time to review my request and found a quick resolution.
