It was simple, intuitive and powerful. Then came CF 2.0 - and the question, about what I like best, is a question I don't have an answer for. **What do you dislike about ClickFunnels?** CF 2.0 is a wonderful idea, with a terrible implementation. It's slow, it's complicated and if you want to build anything outside of a simple sales funnel (something that was possible with CF Classic), then all hell breaks loose and you run into wall after wall and problem after problem. I've built and coded myself out of so many problems, that I've lost count and to this day (CF 2.0 subscriber since the public launch in 2022) I haven't been able to build my most important projects in CF 2.0 and still have to rely on countless other tools for workarounds for functionality that should have been a functionality from day 1. I have recently tried out a competing product, which I found out is lightyears ahead of CF 2.0. Not to mention it's also cheaper, not even facturing in the cost for additional tools, I can save, because the funtionality is built in. Leaving behind over 8 years of loyalty to a company (CF Classic and 2.0 combined) is not an easy thing for me to do, but at the moment I don't see any progress on CFs end and not even the willingness to make good on almost 4 year old promises. I don't think this company has a nowhere near as bright future ahead of itself, than it's past. **What problems is ClickFunnels solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not really any. It's a funnel builder, that's it. And for that it's colossally overpriced. ### 2. The checkout is now very good. Has taken 2 years to get there, but very good. The site builder is also good. **What do you dislike about ClickFunnels?** Trying to be all things to all people has created a host of sub standard tools. The community is so basic it cant be used and has Click Funnels favicons etc. So most of the suite of tools CRM etc. are very basic. BUT.. biggest dislike is the company itself. I purchased Click Funnels 2.0 on its release and I have had it for 2 years. This was based on buying into the early adopter Funnel Hacker plan. The tool was released way too early and missing so many basic functions including currencies outside of the US $. But when looking at the pricing plan for the 'regular' buyers, it was worth holding on for .. even at $1.9k per annum. My 10 workspaces quickly changed to 3 workspaces and now the pricing for new users dropped to under 1k (but my subscription was still going to take the 1.9k .. So I purchased a product that I could not use for the first year, had to muddle through the very basic bugs in year 2 and now that the tool is coming out of beta.. I am building an online course, but the challenge is not in building the course - it is in buliding the supporting systems. I need a lead gathering web page - there are funnels for that. They automatically feed a database which is accessible by a full-featured email automation system. I can create email campaigns to get potential clients to come to web pages and webinars, and there is a full payment system that links to my online course, enrolling and providing access to the client. So I have everything I need in one place. They KNOW small business requirements and it is easy to use and implement. Highly recommended. **What do you dislike about ClickFunnels?** Not much. Everything works. Support is great. So finding support can be a wee bit difficult tho not impossible. **What problems is ClickFunnels solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was having a problem with my email service provider. I have a robust checkout system and it's costly - my ESP changed their pricing and will soon be more than my checkout system. So initially I wanted a safe place to house my email lists and send weekly emails. It wasn't long before I saw that I could replace my checkout system with ClickFunnels. Also when I subscribed to ClickFunnels [became a member] I also got access to the ClickFunnels Classic and their FunnelFlix with all of their training and it has been really helpful in my journey of using Clickfunnels. Love that they have videos explaining all the different types of funnels, so you know how to use them. **What do you dislike about ClickFunnels?** ClickFunnels can seem like it's very high-tech in the beginning and could be too high-tech for some if you don't have a lot of computer skills. Yes, you'll need to see a couple of videos first to start getting used to it, it has many features that are easy to use and you can find them quickly. I'm still creating and building some projects I'm working on, for a pet store and a clothing store, so I plan to keep learning while doing. Appreciate the 24/7 support, that's useful even though I haven't used it yet. I'm still discovering the options for integrations, so I can work easily with the help of the apps. I have some hours using it and researching about it, and If everything goes well I'll be planning to working exclusively with clickfunnels everyday since I have all I need in just a platform. From the huge build-up and excitement I felt after spending 5 days on the initial free sales course, I went to frustration and annoyance. I have since changed to another builder where I was able to get everything up and running in 2 days - no bugs - easy UX - much cheaper. I don't like writing this about Clickfunnels because I felt a real affinity with them at first - but I lost a lot of money and time so I would like to save other freelancers from making the same mistake.
