The ability to bring together analytics and engagement within a single platform is really valuable. It provides deep insights into user behavioural data, and the automation and personalization features make it easy to target our users more effectively.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

Whenever we roll out new features, we run into some kind of bug. We then have to raise a ticket, and the support team resolves the issue.

**What problems is CleverTap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CleverTap helps address the challenge of understanding and engaging users in a more meaningful, data-driven way. Rather than relying on scattered tools or incomplete insights, it brings customer data, behavior tracking, and campaign management together in a single platform. This makes it much easier to spot user patterns, segment audiences more accurately, and reach people with relevant messaging at the right moment. Overall, it saves a lot of time and effort while also improving campaign effectiveness and the user experience.

Segmentation is robust, the journey builder has been dependable, and the reporting and dashboards make it straightforward to track performance and keep iterating across our different verticals.

We rely on Clevertap to run journeys and campaigns across email, WhatsApp, web and mobile popups, web push, and mobile push. 

At VSF, CleverTap is our central CRM for Sadhana App, Tantra Sadhana, Black Lotus, AstroSadhana, Sadhana Tablet, and Sadhana Shop, spanning both our apps and our websites/landing pages.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

At scale, it can start to feel complex - we needed strong discipline around event naming, property definitions, and campaign structure across multiple verticals. 

And when we’re trying to answer very specific questions (for example, debugging a drop-off within a particular journey branch), the analysis can sometimes require extra effort or an export to get to the bottom of it.

**What problems is CleverTap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us centralize lifecycle marketing across products and platforms, rather than relying on separate tools for each channel. 
We can coordinate messaging across app and web, automate onboarding, nurture, and reactivation flows, and measure results in one place. 

Overall, this improves execution speed, targeting, and visibility, which supports stronger engagement and retention across VSF verticals.

**What do you like best about CleverTap?**

I like how CleverTap makes it easy to create campaigns and analyze data. The way it lets us track events, monitor logs, and understand user behavior through funnels is great. Creating and sending campaigns feels straightforward and doesn't take much time to get things up and running. Everything about the data feels clear and accessible, which helps us make better decisions and continuously improve our product.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

Overall it works for us, but there are a few areas that could be improved. Sometimes the learning curve can feel a bit steep when you're trying to set up more advanced features, funnels, or segmentation. Some parts of the UI could be a bit more intuitive. The initial setup was somewhere between moderate and difficult, especially if you want to activate advanced features. Getting the basics up and running is easy.

It’s a great martech tool in the industry right now. The integration is very easy, and the support team will help you thoroughly. Great performance in terms of dashboards and analytics, with a few amazing AI features for segmentation, analytics, and content writing. Go for this if you have an app-based product for the best roi.

Some parts can feel a bit complicated for beginners. While the basic campaign setup is straightforward, mastering advanced segmentation, event mapping, and lifecycle automation can be difficult. The dashboard includes a lot of features, which are powerful, but it can also make navigation feel unintuitive, especially when you’re managing multiple campaigns or trying to analyse cohorts.

We’re solving multiple use cases, including product discovery, ATC, and checkout journeys, supported by lifecycle campaigns. The AI-led features, such as predictive segmentation and content generation, also help a lot.

**What do you like best about CleverTap?**

The features and the way it has it product suite developed helps us track most of the omni channel marketing execution at one place, it is easy to implement and integrate customer support, the integrations with external vendors.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

One downside to CleverTap being it is little techincal when it comes to ease of use by marketing or non-tech teams, ex: it could be little better by introducing all push templates format without using key vakue pairs

And also ensures all the new features under one SDK without a new SDK implementation

Today it helps me in reaching customers by understanding when are they dropping off and reaching them using right channel, at the right time with right communication.

I really like CleverTap's analytics and the ability to drill down each and every metric, which is very well built. The accuracy of the data is also the best in the industry. The drill-down of analytics is present across all platforms, but the way you can do it in CleverTap is seamless and makes further analysis and campaigning very effective.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

Their speed of bringing in the new features on par with competition is not that great. They do eventually bring the features, but the first ones, as you know, in marketing, speed matters as the max juice of a feature or a channel can be brought in only when we have the first mover advantage.

**What problems is CleverTap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CleverTap for sending push notifications, SMS, email, and in-product notifications. The analytics are seamless and accurate, making campaign planning and analysis easy.

What I like the best about Clevertap is that is really intuitive and easy to use. With only a few clicks, I can download files with a lot of value information. Also, it can be connected with SQL providors like DataBricks throufh API to manage and automatize events. Another point that I would like to highlight is the support team, which is always there to solve any problem.

Sometimes, when I download files and download or create a new segment I have to wait some minutes, which slows down my workflow.

**What do you like best about CleverTap?**

I really like that CleverTap offers me a dedicated account manager, Juan Carlos, with whom I have meetings every two weeks. His ability to resolve doubts and help me is impressive. He is attentive and proactive, sometimes even remembering pending tasks better than I do. This personalized attention is something I value greatly, especially compared to other CRM tools I have used like Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, Inblue, and ActiveCampaign, where I have not had the same level of support. This positive experience is the main reason why I recommend CleverTap with a score of 10 to my colleagues and friends. The human touch and constant follow-up from my account manager make a big difference in my overall experience with CleverTap.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

I have had some difficulties with the CleverTap support team. They are often very technical, and since I am not very technical, it becomes complicated for me to understand certain processes. It would have been helpful to have a more accessible introduction, especially in technical areas like HTML configurations and subscriptions. I feel that these aspects required me to learn on my own in order to then teach it to my team, which turned out to be a challenge since I have a more strategic profile. Additionally, I would like there to be a system of exams or tests for interns, so they could practice and learn more effectively, as they often do not practice enough on their own.

I use CleverTap to automate processes and maintain life cycles, improving the tracking and analysis of user behavior across various channels, facilitating reactivation and onboarding.

I liked the third-party integration feature. I connected it with our Amplitude account and transferred the data from there. The email and notification workflows are also good.

I didn’t like the UI; it looks very outdated for 2026. Also, we can’t filter or view all users at once; we have to select a condition or property first.

We also leverage on mobile app optimization and comes with great features that has made our marketing efforts smooth.

I can access a wide variety of automations, which is really convenient. Even when I need to make adjustments, I don't have to stop the automations; I can simply edit them and let them continue running.

The waiting time during the upload of segments and properties can be frustrating.

The most important feature for me is the ability to track users throughout every stage of each product funnel. I am very friendly with using Clevertap on a daily basis. Setting up daily campaigns, journeys, and other campaigns is very easy to implement. even API integration is easy to do on Clevertap. Clevertap support is excellent... we always get a dedicated support agent and spokesperson to solve problems in real time.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

To be honest... I have not faced any challenges yet with Clevertap, so its very hard for me to provide points that I dislike the most. Sometimes I face issues with insights or analytics in journey campaigns. 
Clevertap has provided a solution for this, but there is still a lot more room to improve that feature.

I only faced challenges with insights in journey campaigns, nodes, and related areas. but Clevertap has now provided a solution for this... they have built Engagement metrics section, which shows daily outcomes with just one click.

I really like the different communication methods that CleverTap offers, as they allow me to effectively manage my marketing strategies. I find the strategy plan and the platform itself very valuable. Additionally, their statistics system through events conducted in the application in Analytics is good, as it provides me with the necessary information and analyses to make decisions.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

I would like CleverTap to improve its preview function in campaigns. It would be very helpful to have some kind of message preview in campaigns that are native display. Additionally, I found that the initial setup was not so easy since there are sections of the platform that are a bit complicated to understand.

As a mobile application developer and user activity analyst at AllEvents, I can confidently say that CleverTap is one of the best solutions for user engagement and business growth. The push notification and analytics features are my favorites.

Using CleverTap, I was able to implement feature-rich push notifications within my application. I could easily add custom sounds, icons, deep links, and more. CleverTap also provides well-prepared documentation that explains the entire integration process, which made my job unbelievably easy. The CleverTap dashboard for sending notifications is clean, minimal, and aesthetically pleasing with a soothing light theme. It’s very easy for us to send and schedule notifications targeting individual users or groups of users with specific interests. There are tons of options we can include in a notification, such as custom icons, sounds, deep link URLs, images, texts, and more.

My second favorite feature is the analytics. Integrating it into the app was also straightforward, thanks to CleverTap's excellent documentation. CleverTap enabled me to effortlessly track all user activities within the application. I could also view graphs showing user engagement for each feature in the app. The dashboard and overall user experience are perfect.

Additionally, if we ever have any questions or run into issues, CleverTap’s customer support is outstanding. Since implementing CleverTap, the frequency of users engaging with our app has increased by around 50%, thanks to push notifications and our ability to evaluate the data provided by CleverTap analytics.

When I try to send notifications to users, I occasionally encounter an error called "Chrome: failed." This minor issue has cost me valuable time.

Additionally, when attempting to send a notification targeting a single user, I see multiple "Send Push" options in the table, but only one of them actually works. This can be confusing and inefficient.

Limited Flexibility: There is less flexibility when editing journeys. Additionally, we need a sunset option for stopping a journey so that those who are currently in it can complete their journey before exiting.

Operator Limitations: It is not possible to mix AND and OR operators while creating a campaign.

**What do you like best about CleverTap?**

It is an amazing tool as it helps us draft and send good emails to users, understand the churn rate and minimize it, and convert it to gain maximum retention. This tool makes it very easy and supportive for me to work on this and achieve results. Easy to install and use.

**What do you dislike about CleverTap?**

CleverTap pricing can be cut down to a more reasonable rate, apart from that, the new features are really amazing. No complaints — it's a great tool

his helps me understand user behavior, and accordingly, we work to improve our product. Customer mapping helps us increase our retention rate more effectively.
