**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

ClearPoint is a comprehensive, user-friendly strategic planning solution with a broad range of capabilities. For our organization, the ability to customize reports has been especially important, and the new AI component is genuinely impressive.

Equally important is the level of service the company provides. Because I work in a customer service industry, I both expect and recognize service excellence, and the ClearPoint team consistently delivers. They’re incredibly responsive and take the time to truly understand a client’s needs and goals. Their commitment to helping clients succeed also doesn’t stop after the initial software onboarding.

Our organization was searching for a strategic planning software that would give us the ability to customize to meet our needs, including reports, charts and graphs.  ClearPoint Strategy has been that solution.  Everything we have asked for, ClearPoint has been able to deliver.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

We are in the process of introducing the Kaplan–Norton Balanced Scorecard framework and what I really like about ClearPoint is how naturally it supports this. It provides a single, integrated platform that connects strategy maps, objectives, measures, initiatives, and reporting creating a clear line of sight from intent to action. The initiative module is particularly strong and gives us confidence we can effectively manage our strategic initiatives in one true single source of truth. This will help already reduced manual reporting and helped our leadership focus on insights and decisions, not chasing data. The built‑in Briefing Book, reporting capabilities, and emerging AI features will be especially valuable. We see ClearPoint Strategy as our strategic workspace.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

We are currently in the “messy middle” of finalising our prototype, where strategy planning and system configuration are happening in parallel. As a result, there has been a steep learning curve for our leadership teams and some iteration as we clarify objectives, measures, and ownership which is to be expected when introducing the Balanced Scorecard for the first time. That said, Marisa and Katie have been extremely supportive throughout the process and have helped us navigate this transition with confidence. ClearPoint does require discipline and a thoughtful rollout to realise its full value and we are taking the time to onboard our leaders effectively through this change journey. We see this discipline as a strength rather than a weakness, as it reinforces strong strategy and execution practices

ClearPoint Strategy is helping us address the classic gap between strategy and execution. It is improving alignment across objectives, measures, and initiatives at both Group and Divisional levels, while providing a clear structure to manage our portfolio of strategic initiatives. I'm still in the very early stages of adoption, so thus far, I can only comment on software's helpfulness in organizing my organization's information. I've used the AI interface within the sandbox environment and have found it to be very helpful. The availability of customer support is an excellent return on investment.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

I am very early in adoption of the software and have not yet identified any pain points. I hope that this remains true as my use becomes more in-depth!

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClearPoint is allowing us to move away from using Excel spreadsheets to track progress on metrics. This process worked but we were ready too update to something more sophisticated that also provided more features and uses. I'm looking forward to utilizing the reporting features, which I think will go a long way with ensuring long-term investment in the software from me leadership.

It is a very robust and flexible system.  After a year of creating the framework for content, and creating reporting from the system for our users, I am continually amazed at the ability to adapt the features of the system for our use.  The customer service is truly incredible, Katie, Walter, and Dan have been extremely responsive, and return answers very timely!

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

Really the only downside is alignment and page organization.   The trade off is it makes the system simpler and easier to use, but my OCD just likes boxes and lines to line up.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A single place to track our Strategy Projects.  Now when users from all areas of our organization is updating metrics, it is much easier to help and guide them within one platform.  We now have the system setup, and many things are automated!

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

I appreciate ClearPoint Strategy for helping us manage KPIs for our strategic plan and for starting the process of enabling various department liaisons to submit KPIs. I am particularly excited about working with our new Customer Success Manager, Katie Oliverio, who has incredible customer service skills and has provided us with excellent support. Additionally, ClearPoint Strategy helps organize individual KPIs for each department effectively.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

We had some issues with communication with previous contacts, but that has improved since working with Katie. Setting up has been challenging because only two team members are working on the project, and we are trying to get buy-in from various departments.

I use ClearPoint Strategy for managing KPIs for our Strategic Plan, streamlining the submission of KPIs by department liaisons, and organizing them for each department.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

It’s easy to use, and they’re always adding new features. The resources are really helpful for development and onboarding, and the customer service is excellent. The new AI feature is especially useful when I’m setting something up from scratch, and it also helps with ongoing analysis.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

In our case, Measures (Formulas) and Graphs aren’t as easy for our day-to-day staff to use. That said, customer service is always supportive and helps whenever we’re struggling.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our centralized knowledge database and a learning tool. We use it to track our progress, learn across subsidiaries, ensure transparency with external stakeholders, and keep our documentation in one place. It’s also easy for a new manager to access and quickly understand the past year in strategy operations.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

ClearPoint is an amazing tool that becomes a one stop shop for tracking everything. We had an outstanding implementation during the building phase and we were able to take the tool and create our own performance dashboard for every department.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

If I had to choose one dislike, which there is little to none, it would have to be the tabs that run across the top line. When opening new dashboards, the tabs seem to accumulate if you don't close them as you use them.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClearPoint is progressing our performance measure and major intitiative tracking each month. We are able to see what is being done monthly and how we are accomplishing our goals.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

I find ClearPoint Strategy really useful for Strategic Plan Tracking. The AI tool in both 'Classic' and 'Next' versions has been exceptionally helpful, significantly boosting my efficiency. The on-demand tech support is a standout feature, allowing for instant troubleshooting. As a new user, I'm grateful for such an advanced tool, particularly for managing updates, setting goals, and tracking measures. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the extensive support.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

I have experienced some glitches. For example, the first reporting period for the Quarter duplicated all the monthly objectives. This caused users to double their uploads. The ClearPoint team was prompt and helpful in correcting this problem. I have registered for office hours for one-on-one tech support, but no one ever joined the call. I believe I could use additional training. My suggestion would be to ensure that one-on-one calls are rescheduled or sufficient notice if canceled.

ClearPoint Strategy prevents us from falling behind on goals by tracking progress. The AI tools in both versions boost efficiency, and the on-demand tech support helps with immediate troubleshooting.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

I find ClearPoint Strategy very user-friendly and easy for end users to learn and navigate. The platform is great because it lets us run reports at any time and customize them according to our needs. It's easy to update data, organizational structures, strategic goals, and performance measures. I think the reports are well-designed, clean, and visually appealing, making it easier to communicate information effectively. It's also efficient for generating reports, analyzing, and comparing performance data more effectively, which supports decision-making. I don't need to spend much effort training new users, and the ability to update data and adjust report formats quickly helps maintain accurate, up-to-date reporting.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

Report customization can sometimes be limited, and certain adjustments are not flexible as we would like, particularly when working with text-based data such as Yes/No or 'not applicable' values. The training of the vendor was too basic for the end users.

I use ClearPoint Strategy to centralize data, simplify tracking, and enhance reporting on performance measures, aiding in decision-making. It keeps reports consistent and transparent for leadership.

I really like ClearPoint Strategy because it integrates goal tracking, performance measurement, and reporting into a single centralized system, which is really helpful for managing various plans like the Community Health Improvement Plan, Strategic Plan, Workforce Development Plan, and more. I find it great for keeping all plans in one platform, which aids in tracking and automatically reaching out for data. What I enjoy most is the easiness and accessibility of the platform. It's straightforward to navigate and enter data, and the initial setup was very easy.  I also love the relationship we have with Katie Oliverio; she always provides excellent customer service. Katie is pleasant to reach out to, and always willing to help with anything needed at the time.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

-Streamlines data collection and removes the need for our staff to individually meet with project managers for project updates. 

-Ability to create new fields/data points that we wanted in our dashboard.

-Ability to automate reminder emails to send to staff.

- Reporting function is easy to use.

-Our Customer Success point of contact Marisa was very patient and was able to incorporate most of our asks into our dashboard.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

We have only completed one workflow using Clearpoint, but my main feedback so far would be:

- We have projects that overlap with another department in our organization. There was miscommunication in that initial workflow, mainly that project managers not intended to be in our workflow were included due to project overlap with the other department. I now know how to avoid this, but wish the roll-out went a bit smoother and staff wasn't unnecessarily prompted to provide updates.

- Wish there was the ability to "hide" or remove fields in a project page that do not pertain to the data points we are asking from project managers. It can be difficult to train staff how to use a new program when it's visually overwhelming/lots of fields we're not using.

- There should be an easier way to alphabetize/sort projects by title

- Status Indicator is difficult for staff to find/not intuitive to edit. Maybe it should be a field like "End Date" or "External Status Update" so it's easier to find without having to press the edit pencil for the dropdown menu.

Will eventually reduce the amount of time spent trying to collect project updates from project managers.

**What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?**

What I’ve appreciated most about ClearPoint Strategy is how intuitive and structured the platform is for managing scorecards and tracking strategic goals. It brings everything into one centralized space, which makes reporting and performance conversations far more efficient. The dashboards are clean, customizable, and easy to navigate, even for team members who aren’t especially tech-savvy. It truly streamlines what used to be a very manual process.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

There can be a bit of a learning curve at first, especially when building out scorecards or adjusting advanced settings. However, once you understand the structure and logic behind the system, it becomes very manageable. With a little patience and guidance, it’s easy to get comfortable using the platform.

ClearPoint Strategy has improved organization, accountability, and visibility across teams. I really like being able to customize dashboards so they present a clear, concise picture and narrative of my agency’s work.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

There is a bit of a learning curve to using clearpoint but the support teams is always available to help.After the first reporting period updates become easy.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we implemented ClearPoint Strategy, monthly leadership strategy meetings were inconsistent and disjointed.  Now wer have a clear accessable platform to reprot outcomes and align department initiatives.  We just started using ClearPoint Strategy for a portion of our quarterly board meeting reports.  The board is impressed with the format and level of information provided.

ClearPoint is a pretty intuitive and easy to use tool for BSC reporting. It's user interface is up to date, and offers many features such as automation, integration into organization systems and tools and the support you receive from their team is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

We are early into implementation, but the new UI (which is very slick) has a few bugs/glitches that their Support team works resolve in a timely fashion. Although a fairly customizable solution, there are still elements that I would have liked more customizability.

A gap in reporting and warehousing our strategic plan. Have a centralized spot to add updates to measure data and initiatives helps with organization.

Clearpoint Strategy is very easy to use, allowing me to create dashboards, monitor measures, and follow up on initiatives with minimal effort. I find it straightforward to build strategy maps and link initiatives to objectives and scorecards, which helps keep everything organized. The support team is very helpful whenever I have questions or need assistance. I use Clearpoint Strategy every month to track progress and generate reports. Editing, adding, and deleting information is simple, and I feel confident that my data is safe and that every change is clearly highlighted. Integration with MS Office is seamless, and connecting through APIs is also easy.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

The interface is already quite user-friendly, but I think it could be made even more intuitive.

Change management within an organization is the hardest part, and that isn’t really about ClearPoint itself. I’d appreciate a bit more clarity on what we can do on our side versus what we should be asking ClearPoint to do, so expectations and responsibilities are clearer.

ClearPoint Strategy has excellent customer service! We recently completed an overhaul on our dashboard and the team at ClearPoint was patient, knowledgeable, and supportive through the entire process start to finish.

Previously, my biggest challenge with ClearPoint Strategy was the difficulty with customizing in certain areas. However, ClearPoint has done a lot of work in the most recent update to make customization easier. I am much happier with the customizable capabilities now.

Our Customer Success Manager has always been so accessible for any question I might have.  The ability to get live help via the chat function has also be very useful.

ClearPoint is a useful tool for managing our strategic plan. I really like being able to graphically tell the story of the KPIs we are tracking in our monthly leadership meetings!

One aspect is the Data Loader not being compatible with Mac computers, but we've been able to work through that. There are some small nuances around finding tasks/initiatives and the place you can mark them as complete or delete them, but we're learning more each month we dive in.

ClearPoint has given us a structured way to bring our Balanced Scorecard to life.  We had already developed our strategy, but needed a platform to focus on the measures and the actions that drive results.  ClearPoint makes it easy for leaders and teams to connect their work to the strategy, track progress, and stay accountable.  The ability to build scorecards, layer in KPIs from across the organization, and generate polished reports has already replaced several manual, time-consuming processes.  I also value how ClearPoint centralizes our strategy, initiatives, and metrics in one place, making it simple for teams to collaborate, update KPIs, and stay aligned.  Knowing we can expand into departmental and regional scorecards gives us confidence that the tool will scale with us.  Most importantly, their customer support team is outstanding—responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive in ensuring our success.

**What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?**

While ClearPoint offers a lot of flexibility, the customization process can feel complex at times.  As an administrator, I’ve had to spend extra time learning the technical details, troubleshooting, or figuring out the best way to set something up.  The support center has useful resources, but it’s not always easy to know what to search for or where to find the exact answer I need.  This can make it difficult to feel completely self-sufficient as an admin.  The upside is that whenever I reach out directly, the customer support team is fantastic!  They are always quick to respond, knowledgeable, and effective at getting me unstuck.

**What problems is ClearPoint Strategy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClearPoint has solved the problem of scattered and inconsistent tracking across spreadsheets and different reporting tools.  We now have a single source of truth where strategy, measures, and actions live together in one platform.  This centralization has improved transparency across leadership, made reporting to executives and the board much faster, and strengthened accountability by linking actions directly to measures.   Leaders can clearly see how progress connects back to our strategic goals, which keeps strategy front and center in execution.  Even though we’re just beginning to build out departmental and regional scorecards, ClearPoint has already improved focus and alignment at the executive level, and we’re confident it will scale with the organization as we grow.

The responsiveness of the ClearPoint staff is exceptional. I have been working with Daniel Giglio to understand how the software works and get it ready to launch at our organization. He has been extremely responsive and patient to my many questions. Through working with him I now feel I understand how to make any necessary edits and changes needed to rapidly scale up and roll the system out to monitor and improve our department's performance. ClearPoint Strategy allows for collaborative action and assessment across an organization. It's straightforward and easy to digest for the average user, but it also contains a lot of advanced capabilities for the more in-depth user. I know that no matter who I talk to, regardless of their familiarity (or lack thereof) with our organization, they will help me find a solution to our problem.

ClearPoint Strategy allows for a lot of customization, but the customization process can be tedious and complicated. As an organization with a moderately complex strategic plan in the government sector, the knowledge of the ClearPoint team was incredibly valuable. We are not completely through the implementation, but so far it has been relatively straightforward.

Manual annual roll over process. Also limited functionality in customizing reports. The biggest problem with the briefing book is that I cannot set Page Breaks. Reports are split in odd places on the pages and makes for a messy presentation of data.
