I use Clearbrief for citation checking and creating tables of authorities. It saves a great deal of time in my appellate brief writing and helps me identify the best places to cite within factual documents, especially when reviewing hundreds of documents where the same information is presented slightly differently. Clearbrief isn't perfect with understanding Maine citations, especially parallel citations, as it thinks they are two separate references. It also puts Maine statutes and state case citations into a table of authorities in an incorrect format, which requires manual correction.
