What I liked most about Civil Designer as a first-time user was its integration across modules โ being able to move easily between road design, drainage, earthworks, and hydraulics without switching environments. The cross-sectioning and stormwater tools were particularly helpful for the project I worked on, and the fly-throughs and visuals added an immersive touch that I really liked. I also appreciated the logical workflow, clean interface, and helpful support features, all of which made the overall experience feel polished and professional. There are a few limitations โ for instance, the undo (Ctrl + Z) function didn't always behave consistently across modules, sometimes not working, or undoing more steps than intended. Another aspect that took some getting used to was the sheet file creation process, which felt a little less intuitive at first but became clearer after spending some time exploring it.
