What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

Regarding Cisco Duo, what I like best is the Duo Push.

It turns a security hurdle into a single tap on your phone, which is a rare win for both IT and users.

This is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure access tool that integrates smoothly with remote desktop (RDP), Windows for local logins, and VPN access.

Device health check system by which administrator can easily verify whether windows machine are having up to date operating system or not as well as the security patches.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

While Cisco Duo is generally well-regarded, there are a few common "pain points" that users often run into:-

Notification Latency: Sometimes the "Duo Push" takes its sweet time to arrive, which can lead to login timeouts and a bit of frustration when you're in a hurry.

Signal Dependency: It doesn't play well in low-signal areas (like basement offices or remote locations). If your phone can't get a data signal, you're stuck relying on manual passcodes

Cost: For smaller teams or non-profits, it can be on the pricier side compared to some basic alternatives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cisco Duo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Suppose if you are connecting to public wifi to access the company's application and if some bad element is trying to intercept your password using a "man-in-the-middle" attack. Without MFA, once they have your password, they have your identity. But CISCO DUO solves this problem by using MFA. When you enter your credentials, Cisco Duo triggers a Duo Push to your registered smartphone. Even if that bad actor successfully stole your password, they are blocked because they don't have your physical device to "Approve" the login.

Peace of Mind: You can work from anywhere whether it's a cafe, an airport, or a hotel knowing that a stolen password isn't enough to compromise your account or company's data.
