My daily activities include analyzing financial information, working with spreadsheets, reviewing reports, and tracking business information. I find ChromeOS a good choice for my work because it lets me jump into these tasks quickly, without spending much time setting up my computer system. In particular, I like working in the browser environment, since I can easily switch from one web-based application to another as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
However, the biggest disadvantage of using Chrome OS is the limited availability of certain specialized desktop applications and advanced finance tools, which may also lack some of the functionality found in their Windows counterparts. When I’m working on complex Excel models, relying on specific add-ons, or using software designed primarily for Windows, I often have no choice but to look for web-based alternatives or switch to another machine.
