What do you like best about ChatGPT?

What I like most about ChatGPT is its versatility and ability to handle a wide range of tasks in one place. I use it regularly for technical problem-solving, research, writing, brainstorming, and improving day-to-day workflows.

The AI is particularly useful because it can understand context and adapt its responses based on the conversation. For example, I use it to troubleshoot embedded systems and firmware issues, review technical concepts, analyze requirements, write and improve professional emails, and explore different approaches to engineering problems. It significantly reduces the time I spend searching through documentation or starting tasks from scratch.

I also find the ability to work with files, images, code, and structured information very valuable. Being able to share screenshots, documents, or technical information and get an interactive explanation makes it much easier to understand complex topics.

The conversational interface is simple and intuitive, and the overall experience is fast enough for both quick questions and more detailed tasks. Another unexpected benefit is using ChatGPT as a brainstorming partner.it helps me explore alternatives and identify things I may have overlooked.

Overall, the biggest value for me is having one AI tool that can support both technical and everyday work rather than needing separate tools for each task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChatGPT?

One area that could be improved is consistency. Sometimes ChatGPT provides very accurate and useful answers, while in other cases it can be overly confident about information that needs verification. It would be helpful if the system more clearly indicated when information may be uncertain or outdated.

The experience can also become less predictable in longer conversations, where maintaining context or following specific instructions may occasionally be inconsistent. Better long-term context management would make it easier to use ChatGPT for ongoing projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
