What do you like best about Charms Office Assistant?

You can keep track of all people and documents in given organizations (ensembles, in my case), and even use barcodes with specific numbers generated by Charms. These can be scanned to take attendance, check documents in or out, and more. Charms can also keep contact information, help maintain a library of documents in an organized/numerical manner, and provide a calendar for important work-related events. What do you dislike about Charms Office Assistant?

I dislike that sometimes the system bugs, causing numbers to be double assigned to documents or people. However, it notifies you when this happens. Sometimes the barcodes are not super sensitive, but usually they work just fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Charms Office Assistant:

I would highly recommend that people using Charms keep track of the last number they used to categorize a piece of music or instrument, such that you can easily input the next one you get as a new item without having to search through the system for the last number that Charms assigned you. What problems is Charms Office Assistant solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has helped me keep track of enormous music libraries to manage multiple ensembles. With many musicians, instruments, and music scores to keep track of, Charms makes all of this easy. Using the numerical system it imposes for these categories, it is easy to enter either the number/barcode/name/or any basic information (key words) about what you are looking for, and Charms will find it.
