What do you like best about Certent?

Platform is easy to use even for a lay person (I am an administrator, but don't have a deep background in finance/investment) and most importantly the customer service is outstanding! I get responses back always same day usually within a matter of hours, and I've not had any question or issue that was not solved in a short time frame with excellent support! What do you dislike about Certent?

I do find that when people receive their welcome emails with login credentials that the first time login and password reset process is a bit "klunky." New users seem to lock themselves out routinely as they often confuse their USER ID (which is auto-generated and sent to them in their welcome email) with their email - so they type their email into the "USERID" field and get stuck. I wonder if the USER ID field on the login screen could in fact be their email on file - that might be less confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Certent solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Certent to track the vesting over time of multiple ownership grant types for our employees. We utilize the document signature function where the employee can review and sign their grant agreement online and login to view their own vesting over time. It would be feasible, but very difficult, time-consuming and error-prone to try to track this all in an excel-type file, so Certent tracking the vesting over time (we have multiple vesting templates) really makes that easy for us - with 1700 grants it's the only way we could manage it!
