We primarily use the software for an SFTP service that our customer's use to download several hundred GB of data every night. To ensue the solution was as locked down as possible, the implementation process was fairly complex but we were supported throughout this process. The software is updated regularly and when required the support we have received has been of a high standard. **What do you dislike about Cerberus FTP Server?** The recent license renewal aught us offguard as there was a significant jump in price and only an option for a three year renewal. After a user is provisioned for single sign-on, there is no way to remove them from the console when the account is no longer needed. With a nice user interface available both at the GUI and via a web browser, user management, and FTP functionality is a breeze. Cerberus is also regularly updated, which is nice. Their support staff is also extremely helpful offering first callresolution. **What do you dislike about Cerberus FTP Server?** Overall it is hard to find anything to dislike with Cerberus. Perhaps the biggest hurdle we have had to overcome would be with permissions. While Cerberus FTP Server is used as a gateway for FTP/SFTP, we point to many otherwise inaccessible file servers. Permissions to these remote servers can sometimes be difficult to configure while keeping in bounds with security. **What problems is Cerberus FTP Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** FTP and SFTP is an absolute need for us. We switched to Cerberus a few years back when our previous vendor had a nice security vulnerability exposed with no real solution in sight.
