We use Celoxis primarily for project management, and the Gantt charts are both detailed and easy to work with. They let you view the full project timeline at a glance and track task dependencies very clearly. The resource management features are also quite powerful: it’s quick to see who is overloaded and who still has bandwidth across multiple projects at the same time, which helps a lot with planning. Budget and cost tracking is useful as well. You can set budgets at the project level and monitor actual versus planned spend in real time, without needing to maintain a separate Excel sheet. The UI is honestly quite outdated and overwhelming. There are so many menus and options that new users don’t know where to start, and it can take weeks just to feel comfortable with the basics. The onboarding and initial setup are also very complicated; getting everything configured properly took a lot of time, and the support documentation feels a bit scattered and hard to follow.
The AI features are also very basic compared to newer project management tools. It doesn’t really use intelligence in any meaningful way to help with planning or resource allocation. Pricing is on the higher side for smaller teams as well. I can see the value for large enterprises, but it feels a bit expensive for mid-sized teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
