## About CATS
CATS is a web-based applicant tracking system that helps recruiters and direct employers work more efficiently by automating the hiring process.

## CATS Reviews
  ### 1. Cost-Effective and Robust ATS!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Douglas S. | Senior Human Capital Consultant, Defense & Space, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2018

**What do you like best about CATS?**

I have been using CATS for a variety of Clients for the past 5 years. What's very helpful is the ability to customize portals, applications, fields, workflows, and messaging/escalation of critical matters via self-performance. Other systems I have used and implemented don;t come close to CATS' ability to meet individual organizations' needs. Smooth candidate experience, instant notification on any device after a candidate applies, and meaningful KPI development.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

Would be great if CATS could offer digital signatures or integration with DocuSign. Only other suggestion would be to enable a "tab" interface.

**Recommendations to others considering CATS:**

Very robust ATS at a VERY reasonable cost. Support is incredibly responsive and will typically resolve any issues or concerns while you are on the phone with the expert. Support is provided at no additional cost.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiting and tracking. I've transformed numerous Clients' hiring processes with the help of CATS. No paper files, spreadsheets, or manual notes. Every event from requisition development to hire is automated in CATS. Time-to-Fill often drops to 2-3 days thanks to the automated approval processes.

  ### 2. Simple and Robust

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig F. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2023

**What do you like best about CATS?**

I like the easy job posting to all the websites and the easy portability CATS offers.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

I would like a better Candidate Search engine.

**Recommendations to others considering CATS:**

CATS is an affordable user friendly Tracking System you should compare with any other system you are considering before making your decision.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main business problems I am solving is filling open job orders. I have realized CATS is the primary contributor in making that happen.

  ### 3. CATS Applicant Tracking System – smart, creative, yet simple!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan C. | Human Resources Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2022

**What do you like best about CATS?**

Hiring is the ultimate goal and key duty in an HR department and the job – no matter how tiny and simple it seems to others – is a quite tough and troubled one. This can take ages and lots of time to find the perfect candidate but this won’t be the case with CATS on your team.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

The reporting and analytical features are not as robust as you might consider or want them to be. This can be a hassle for managers that need quick numbers on their fingers. The updates do help with the betterment but just not enough yet in this area.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CATS is a robust, online, simple and creative platform for hiring managers. You can create a whole new automated workflow with CATS and it is easily adjustable and adaptable in all industries and businesses. You can also post multiple jobs, hire multiple candidates and schedule interviews with ease.

  ### 4. A good tool for your Talent Acqusition Needs! CATS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham T. | C, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about CATS?**

The upside of using CATS is that you can integrate all your positions and job boards on CATS itself. Monster, CareerBuilder, Dice are some of the Job Boards I was working with to find candidates along with our contractor database.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

I'm not fond of the User Experience of CATS. The UI is not easy to understand unless you are specifically trained for a process. Initially, a lot of hand-holding is necessary for a newbie to learn the ins and outs of CATS.

**Recommendations to others considering CATS:**

Other tools are available in the market but this is a cheap and suitable option for companies with around 500-1000 employees. Depending upon the number of requirements you have, data sharing among peers with a single click makes the work easier for everyone.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used CATS in the capability of an Account Manager and Recruiter. It is effortless to find candidates on any Job Portal using CATS. Once a candidate is locked, their information like rate and skills will be available to any number of Employees/Team members or Account Executives for approvals and whatnot.

  ### 5. Good product

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2022

**What do you like best about CATS?**

Email integration and job posting features are easy to use, the add-ons feature is very useful and helpful, and really like the friendly and active customer support.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

There's a complicacy during forwarding the resumes. When a position is listed, it automatically adds them to a job order which creates a lot of confusion. Sometimes email integration fails to work properly and sometimes the site is slow to work.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for recruiting process, creating custom job applications, posting jobs, resume parsing, custom recruitment workflows, and generating customized reports.

  ### 6. An ATS that works well.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill F. | Executive Lifescience Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2022

**What do you like best about CATS?**

That it is a complete ATS - has email tracking, texting and allows customized fields.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

Price per user of $99/ month is a bit high.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps everything in one place for both candidates and clients.

  ### 7. Current USER - could be improved.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2018

**What do you like best about CATS?**

I do think this is a GREAT tool, the more I navigate around it the more I begin to like it. It is only as good as the users inputting data.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

No automatic skills to select, you must type in skill section.

**Recommendations to others considering CATS:**

It is a good tool, when you work with it properly. It's only as good as the data you are inputting.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to keep track of Accounts, Recruitment and Job orders.

  ### 8. Great applicant tracking system and very user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about CATS?**

I like that CATS is super user friendly. I also like that it's customizable. More recently, we've been using it with our HRIS system and it has been helpful that it integrates so well with that (BambooHR). We also use it to integrate with job postings on our website and it helps to track people who apply to positions. I like that when someone applies, it automatically moves their information into the ATS portion.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

I wish there was the ability to bulk email a little bit easier but it's not a huge issue. Otherwise, there are no dislikes that I have about the system.

**Recommendations to others considering CATS:**

It is a great applicant tracking system and it is very cost-effective and user friendly. The pricing is not outrageous and it helps keep us extremely organized as a whole. It is helpful to keep historical data of conversations our recruiters have with potential candidates.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for our applicant tracking system. It keeps our recruiting team very well organized and up to date with items.

  ### 9. AMAZING Sourcing and Pipelining Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2019

**What do you like best about CATS?**

I love how intuitive and user friendly CATS is. It allows me to see all of my candidates for each job at a glance. I also love how I can email candidates right from the status tab.

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

I don't like the fact that I can't change the status to the same thing twice in a row on a particular candidate in the workflow. Instead I have to choose a new workflow status and then change it back to leave a new note.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of candidates we contacted and then use mail merge to email them. Now, I can upload them as I go into CATS and easily email them right away right from the app. It also makes sure that I never miss an email because my email syncs with the CATS system

  ### 10. The best ATS (and I've tried most of them!)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2019

**What do you like best about CATS?**

For a smaller staffing firm, this perfect ATS. Super intuitive - Zero training needed to get started. Super Powerful too. The workflow automation is fabulous. We have our entire sourcing, recruiting, qualifying, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding process built in to the workflow. My recruiters don't need to use email. They Use CATS. One of my top recruiters, I could never get to use any other ATS (PCR, BullHorn, MaxHire, etc.) and now she only uses CATS and her cell phone. She loves it because we've automated all the emails, scheduling, follow ups, etc. Just flip a switch and your task is done!!

**What do you dislike about CATS?**

Reporting. This is CATS biggest weakness and the only reason I wouldn't recommend it for a bigger firm. It's virtually impossible to pull out recruiter metrics without spending hours each week. Although they have some canned dashboards, there is no customizable performance reports comparing week over week or month over month.

**Recommendations to others considering CATS:**

Highly recommend it for smaller staffing firms.

**What problems is CATS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of the recruiting process and management of clients, candidates, jobs and companies with ease.
