"Casebook: There Is No Box!"

What do you like best about Casebook?

With many case management software programs you're told to 'think outside the box', but with Casebook there is no box at all! We are a housing organization which has been using Casebook for many years and it has now become an absolutely valuable element in the way we look after individuals and families, run our programs, and assess our impact. Our efforts extend well beyond the scope of conventional case management; in areas such as housing assessments and environmental health interventions, as well as in verifying client eligibility, coordinating with contractors, tracking services, ensuring grant compliance, and preparing outcome reports, we require a system that can adapt to our way of working rather than one that compels us to alter our processes in order to meet its limitations. This is where Casebook shines. We enjoy the ability to design our own forms, create custom reports, set up workflows, and record the kind of data that is important to our organization. The user experience allows for us to always look for ways to push our programs and push Casebook. Since our programs change, Casebook allows us to keep up with those changes. Whether the purpose is to document the services given to families, to monitor program performance, or to produce detailed reports for funders, Casebook provides us with the tools needed to turn our complicated operations into straightforward processes. One of the features we love and use daily is the ability to take information from our website, pull it through Zapier and it integrates the information immediately within Casebook and saves us time, reduces human error and provides with a more efficient client intake application. What really makes Casebook stand out, however, is the quality of its people. Whether in customer support or at the highest levels of the company they show what excellence really means. They are exceptional in their responsiveness, professionalism, readiness to listen, and real dedication to their customers. We have never felt like just another account; we have always felt like a valued partner whose success actually matters to them. A large number of case management platforms are available, many of which claim to offer customization and flexibility. Casebook genuinely provides these features, thanks to a team that regularly goes beyond expectations. Even when we’ve had new ideas or suggestions for improvements, Casebook meets with us and we work together to improve the user experience for all Casebook clients. For us, there is no alternative, no matter how high the price is. Once you find a platform that offers outstanding flexibility, has strong functionality, and comes from a company that is truly committed to your organization’s success, you will have no need to look any further. What do you dislike about Casebook?

We lack the ability to change certain fields. For example, Certain system-defined fields cannot be renamed, modified, or removed, even when they don't align with an organization's workflow. AI integration- while I know this is in the beta phase, the ability to speak through natural language to pull reports, access all forms, etc would be great. It would be great if it had a grant management module for tracking grants: Total amount, amount spent, report dates, report writing, ability to pull data from within Casebook right into the Grantor's report. What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?

It saves us a substantial amount of time by allowing us to do an intake form via our website, pull the data into Casebook via Zapier integration, create a case immediately, process the narrative, create people, demographics etc. It does this very fast and save us and the client time because we don't have to repeat questions. In addition, the ability to text from your work phone, include the Casebook number, and any communication with the clients via text is directly saved to their case file. We save time from being able to schedule appointments and send communications to clients, all within Casebook. We connect Outlook's calendar and it syncs appointments bidirectionally. It also saves us a ton of time by allowing us to directly email clients with forms that they can digitally sign via their computer, phone or tablet. This saves us time from having to go out into the field to collect these signatures. Casebook saves us time in processing the report data. We now can push a button and pull all the data immediately through the customized reports that my staff has created. Tremendous time and cost savings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
