What do you like best about Carbonmade?

- Easy and quick way to create portfolios due to their prepared templates

- Free access to publish 4-5 pieces of works while also having pages for sections like "Work", "Contact", "About" etc.

- Easy and straightforward way to integrate analytical tools, such as Google analytics into the site so you can keep developing your portfolio based on real usage.

- The website offers animations, especially on the landing page of your portfolio, to make the user experience more lively and engaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Carbonmade?

- There is only a limited amount of space for personalizing layouts, which is not a disadvantage in case you're looking for something simple, but in case you'd like to customize your layouts, fonts etc. it might not be the most suitable for you.

- Subscription based plans might be a little bit more pricey than their competitors, however, they offer quite a good discount on annual plans (around 20%).

- The loading time of the website (on mobile especially) seems a bit longer than expected. It can depend on the photos and documents you're uploading, but overall they don't make it clear how to improve the site speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Carbonmade:

I'd recommend checking out other similar competitor websites, such as UXfolio, however if you're looking for a simple, quick way to establish your work, carbonmade is a suitable choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
