What do you like best about Carbide?

Carbide's people are fantastic to work with. We are currently using Carbide's Fractional CISO services and they've been great to help chart a course for us and provide guidance as we work towards our first SOC 2 audit. They have been incredibly helpful working through nuanced, industry specific discussions relating to data privacy, security, risk management, and prioritization. What do you dislike about Carbide?

I wish they had more automation/integration when it comes to evidence gathering. I also wish they had a few more baseline policies and procedures to draw upon as guidance for developing your own organizational controls Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Carbide solving and how is that benefiting you?

Drafting privacy and information security policies for our organization. Providing guidance on tooling and implementation of security controls. Collecting evidence for a SOC 2 audit. We are working in higher education with large institutions all over North America. Our Information Security and Privacy policies and practices are critical when working through procurement, building trust with our clients (and prospective clients), keeping up to date with legal requirements when it comes to data privacy, and ultimately keeping our end user's data secure.
