The main thing I like is how easy it is to keep track of multiple data rooms in one place. I can see which rooms are active, who has access to each one, and what has been opened or downloaded without digging through emails. Permissions are simple to set per user or group, and the activity log makes it clear who looked at what and when, which is useful when a deal is moving and several parties are in the room at the same time. Setting up a new room and uploading documents is quick, and the interface is clean enough that counterparties don’t need much hand-holding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest downside is that keeping up with changes is a manual job. When documents are added or updated in a room, I have to go in, figure out what’s new, and download the new files myself. There’s no simple way to sync a room to my machine or get a clean “what changed since I last looked” view, so on an active deal I end up checking rooms more often than I’d like just to make sure I haven’t missed an updated version. A desktop sync client or better change alerts would fix most of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thank you for the thoughtful review. It’s great to hear that setting up rooms, managing access, and tracking document activity are helping your team coordinate complex power plant transactions. We understand that manually checking for updated files can be inconvenient, and we’ll share your suggestions for change alerts and desktop syncing with our team.
