What do you like best about Canva?

In our audit and advisory practice, Canva serves as an effective communication tool for translating complex audit findings into clear, client-ready visual presentations. Its flowchart and diagramming capabilities allow our engagement teams to map out internal control walkthroughs, process flow diagrams, and segregation-of-duties matrices with clean visuals. The Brand Kit feature helps maintain consistent professional typography and formatting across executive summary decks, audit committee presentations, and regulatory compliance reports. Real-time collaboration makes it straightforward for senior reviewers to review and annotate presentation slides before final client delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

While Canva is excellent for high-level summaries and presentations, it doesn’t offer native integration with live spreadsheet data (such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) to automatically refresh charts. When financial metrics or trial balance figures change during audit fieldwork, the charts and numbers in presentation decks still have to be updated manually. In addition, its document export options can sometimes compress embedded tables or dense process flowcharts, which makes small text look a bit blurry unless you export in a high-resolution PDF format.
