What do you like best about Camtasia?

Camtasia has so many additional features since my last review but I continue to use the original version to screen capture for my YouTube channel and work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

I see the original starter version is $39/yr but everything you create is watermarked. However, the plan I use (Essentials) is now $180. So the price has increased to a point where I would not pay for an upgrade. If I am just screen capturing (which BTW does not work on some streaming services like Apple, Paramount+, etc.), I use the Windows Snipping tool. You can even trim it before you save it. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ability to screen capture whatever you want to use in your videos is so helpful. Trying to find a movie clip for a video you are working on can be so difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
