"Great program...don't know if the $180 (up from $100) is worth it"
What do you like best about Camtasia?
Camtasia has so many additional features since my last review but I continue to use the original version to screen capture for my YouTube channel and work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Camtasia?
I see the original starter version is $39/yr but everything you create is watermarked. However, the plan I use (Essentials) is now $180. So the price has increased to a point where I would not pay for an upgrade. If I am just screen capturing (which BTW does not work on some streaming services like Apple, Paramount+, etc.), I use the Windows Snipping tool. You can even trim it before you save it.
